Naomi Watts and James Marsden were the winners for best dressed this week.

Naomi for looking beautiful and graceful in her Gucci Premiere gown, and James for looking super sharp and devilishly handsome in Kent and Curwen.

This was James’ second win in a row, whereas it’s been a long while since Naomi took home this prize. Her win was well deserved as this was one of her standout looks of the year.

Naomi Watts In Gucci Première – ‘Birdman Or The Unexpected Virtue Of Ignorance’ New York Film Festival Closing Night Gala Presentation

Naomi Watts In Gucci Première - ‘Birdman Or The Unexpected Virtue Of Ignorance’ New York Film Festival Closing Night Gala Presentation

Naomi Watts attended the closing night gala presentation of ‘Birdman Or The Unexpected Virtue Of Ignorance’ during the 52nd New York Film Festival held at Alice Tully Hall on Saturday (October 11) in New York City, joining Emma Stone.

The actress looked radiant wearing a Gucci Première pale-grey lace and silk tulle long-sleeved gown featuring a sheer neckline, covered-button detail along the back, and a delicate train. This design epitomizes feminine glamour.

While I often like Naomi’s red carpet looks, I’m not often wowed by them unless during awards season. This, however, is firmly in the wow pile.

I don’t think she’s ever looked better.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley In Gucci Première – ‘The Search’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley In Gucci Première - 'The Search' Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Today has been remarkably quiet during the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival.

This evening (May 21); however, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley kick-started proceedings with a bang for ‘The Search’ premiere.

The model/actress glided down the red carpet wearing a Gucci Première soft jade silk chiffon strapless gown with tonal beading flourishing in a geometric pattern before cascading down her skirt.

Looking regal and statuesque, the British beauty completed her look with de Grisogono diamond earrings, smoky eyes and a dark-pink pout.

Sign her up L’Oreal.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Blake Lively in Gucci Première, Cate Blanchett In Armani Privé, Ryan Reynolds in Gucci & Benedict Cumberbatch in Ralph Lauren

BDOTW Cannes

With so much going on this weekend I almost forgot to announce who was best dressed of the week.

Well, it was a two-way tie between Blake Lively in Gucci Première and Blake Lively in Gucci Première. While I believed her opening ceremony gown was the better of the two, it would appear you guys loved them both equally.

My choice was the great Cate Blanchett in Armani Privé. What can I say; it’s a match made in fashion heaven.

When it came to the fellas, you gave Ryan Reynolds in Gucci the top honour this week. I, on the other hand, was swept away by Benedict Cumberbatch in his impeccable Ralph Lauren Black Label suit.

Blake Lively In Gucci Première & Ryan Reynolds In Gucci – ‘Captives’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

"The Captive" Premiere - The 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival

Just as we hoped, Blake Lively joined husband Ryan Reynolds on the red carpet for the premiere of his latest movie ‘Captives’ during Cannes Film Festival this evening (May 16) in Cannes, France.

Working black and white in unison, the couple blew me away.

She wore a Gucci Première black and white silk crepe fifties-inspired strapless gown featuring a full skirt and a dramatic train, while he wore Gucci black satin peak lapel one-button Signoria tuxedo with a white evening shirt, white satin bowtie, black silk cummerbund and white leather laceups.

While I prefer Blake’s first Gucci Première gown, I don’t think she has ever looked more beautiful than she did tonight. I have goosebumps on my goosebumps.

It’s like looking at a couple from Hollywood’s golden age, they complemented each other so well.

Blake wore over 180 cts in Lorraine Schwartz diamonds including 20 ct diamond studs, two diamond necklaces, a natural pearl and unheated ruby and diamond bracelet and her own Lorraine Schwartz pink diamond engagement ring.

Ryan wore a pink gold ‘Octo’ Bulgari watch with black alligator strap.

Blake Lively In Gucci Première - ‘Grace of Monaco’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere & Opening Ceremony

Blake Lively made her Cannes Film Festival debut for the ‘Grace of Monaco’ premiere, which doubled up as the opening ceremony this evening (May 14).

As expected, the actress wore a Gucci Premiere gown, looking absolutely divine donning a two-tone bordeaux silk-chiffon fully pleated gown featuring a geometric neckline, open back, fitted bodice and high side slit showcasing her gold Casadei sandals.

Opting for a messy high braided ponytail, the actress completed her look with smouldering eye makeup and the most stunning rose-gold and ruby Lorraine Schwartz diamond vine earrings and bracelet.

I was expecting her to be flawless and she still managed to exceed my expectations. Sexy, glamorous and elegant.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Blake Lively In Gucci Premiere, Karolina Kurkova In Marchesa, Benedict Cumberbatch In Ralph Lauren & Douglas Booth In Burberry

BD1 12 May

There was just no separating Blake Lively and Karolina Kurkova this week.

Both taking 34% of your votes, they were neck and neck all weekend.

Blake swept you off your feet with her dazzling return to the red carpet in Gucci Premiere, while Karolina’s Marchesa sculpted strapless satin-organza gown was not only a thing of beauty but was also one of the very few looks which lived up to the theme. This was my favourite too.
