Cheryl In Givenchy – GAME 4 GRENFELL

Saturday (September 2) marked Cheryl’s first public appearance since welcoming baby Bear with boyfriend Liam Payne back in March.

The former X Factor judge was accompanied by Girls Aloud bandmate Nicola Roberts, as they joined spectators at the #Game4Grenfell charity football match, which raised money for those who have been affected by the Grenfell Tower disaster.

She was keen to show off her toned stomach in a white crop top and trademark wide-fit trousers in a scene-stealing flame red hue from Givenchy’s Fall 2017 collection.

While some might consider this overdressed, I wouldn’t begrudge her wanting to look her best when making her first public appearance.

I’m just not a fan of the animal print calf-hair pumps or the Gucci belt with this look.

By contrast Nicola’s look was far more relaxed wearing a vintage style navy dress with sneakers.

Queen Rania of Jordan In Givenchy – The Sovereign’s Parade At Sandhurst

Queen Rania of Jordan attended the Sovereign’s Parade at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst on Friday (August 11) in Camberley, England.

I love how her red Givenchy Fall 2017 coat marries traditional craftsmanship with the contemporary art of construction.

Sadly, it’s the only piece of this look I like.

The skirt feels like it’s competing with the asymmetrical pleated hem of the coat, and the Louis Vuitton bag feels out of place here.

I would keep the bag and swap the white skirt for either a black pencil skirt or trousers.

Charlize Theron In Saint Laurent & L’Agence – SiriusXM

As Charlize Theron continues promotion for ‘Atomic Blonde’, she stopped by the SiriusXM Studios in New York City on Wednesday (July 19).

Gone was her bold, atomic-red lip and sultry, experimental-forward style. In its place remained a subtle simmer by way of a sophisticated, monochromatic black look that still retained its leggy sass.

The L’Agence top and Saint Laurent suede skirt certainly had a quiet allure, with the edge of the blazer cape and Gianvito Rossi pumps adding a layer of sharper flair.

There were many who weren’t exactly sold on Charlize’s last set of looks, so how does this more traditionally classic ensemble fare?

Jada Pinkett Smith In Givenchy, Celine & Maison Rabih Kayrouz – SiriusXM

Looking on the bright side, Jada Pinkett Smith offered up a sunny perspective upon visiting the SiriusXM Studios on Wednesday (July 19) in New York City.

Playing with proportion, she paired a yellow Givenchy blouse and Maison Rabih Kayrouz Spring 2017 fringe coat with Celine Pre-Fall 2017 wide-leg trousers complete with a multi-colour racing stripe.

Together with her braids, it all turned the notion of sophisticated tailoring into a more urban-forward interpretation—and she commanded the look.

Established Jewelry rounded out her ensemble.

Charlize Theron In Givenchy – ‘Atomic Blonde’ Berlin Press Junket

I can think of no better hue than a daring, lipstick-red for Charlize Theron’s promotion of ‘Atomic Blonde’ in Berlin, Germany on Saturday (July 15).

The radioactive shade came alive in this tattered-ruffle dress from the Givenchy Fall 2017 collection that coincidentally solely focused on renditions of red.

But, Charlize gave this blouson look a new lease on life by wearing the plunge in front for a higher dose of sizzling appeal.

With such a red-hot statement, the accessorising was kept to a minimum with matching sandals along with a barely-there EF Collection necklace and Graziela Gems ring.

Ansel Elgort In Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci – ‘Baby Driver’ Sydney Premiere

Ansel Elgort joined Lily James for the premiere of ‘Baby Driver’ in Sydney, Australia on Wednesday (July 12).

Offering up a different variation on monochromatic suiting, the actor was dressed in a Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci Spring 2017 suit with red accent collar lapels and wide tuxedo stripes down the pants.

Fully committed to the look, he even wore red socks.

While Ansel can dress with the best in standard formal menswear, I love that he is not one to shy away from exploring alternate sartorial views that present interesting variations on the norm.
