Rooney Mara In Givenchy – ‘Don’t Worry, He Won’t Get Far On Foot’ LA Premiere

Rooney Mara returned to the red carpet yesterday (July 11) evening for Amazon Studios’ premiere of ‘Don’t Worry, He Won’t Get Far On Foot’ in Hollywood, California.

While a lot has changed from her last outing at the Met Gala, some things have remained the same.

Her love for black and Givenchy of course.

While those two things remain a constant, I have grown to admire how she keeps things interesting.

This Resort 2019 dress has many intriguing elements from the dual fabrication, to the asymmetrical cut out and bold shoulders.

It feel both classic and modern at the same time.

I will have to bookmark this as one of my favourites from Rooney.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex In Roland Mouret & Givenchy – Ireland Visit

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex has already presented two new look before lunchtime today (July 11) in Ireland, on day two of her visit with her husband Prince Harry.

Meeting Ireland’s President: Her first look was a taupe Roland Mouret bespoke ‘Clover’ dress which she styled with a Fendi ‘Peekaboo’ black bag and black Paul Andrew pumps. The look, which is very similar to her previous Roland Mouret dress, is very dignified and perfect for a presidential meeting. But the first question I asked myself was “why isn’t she celebrating Irish designers during this trip?” That’s the one thing I loved about Michelle Obama and Duchess Catherine when they traveled, as they always made it a point to find a way to represent the country they were in. Louise Kennedy, Simone Rocha and Paul Costelloe are three Irish designers I can think of off the top of my head, but the next generation of emerging designers could’ve also benefited from being spotlighted during this trip too.

Gaelic Athletic Association: Meghan’s second look saw her cut a stylish figure as she took the field in cropped black Givenchy suit and a white shirt, styled with a Givenchy belt and Sarah Flint pumps – when block heels or wedges would’ve been more appropriate considering the turf. On this occasion she traded in her Fendi bag for a small black clutch. Meghan hasn’t had much time to repeat, but this look did remind me of her Alexander McQueen look worn back in February.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex In Givenchy – Ireland Visit

Meghan Markle had a busy day with the royal appearances.

Hours after attending the Royal Air Force centennial in London, the Duchess of Sussex arrived in Dublin, Ireland with the Duke for their first royal engagement abroad as a married couple.

Opting for a colour most associated with Ireland – green – the Duchess kept her look simple and chic wearing a Givenchy short sleeve top with a midi-length pencil patch pocket skirt which will no doubt serve up plenty of office inspo, as it looks like it’s been snatched from the set of ‘Suits’.

Now that Meghan is a Duchess, those crossbody bags appeared to have been shelved, giving way to this lady-like brown tote bag from one of her favourite brands; Strathberry.

Would it be terribly wrong of me to say that this is perhaps one of her best post-wedding looks so far?

Perhaps the reasoning for that is because this feels more natural to her as she’s no doubt still growing into this Duchess role.

2018 Vogue Foundation Dinner

There were many more gorgeous ladies who attended the 2018 Vogue Foundation on Tuesday (July 3) in Paris during Haute Couture week, alongside Naomi Campbell and Emily Ratajkowski.

Liv Tyler: The actress gave us a preview of Givenchy’s upcoming Spring 2019 collection. The look seems to follow a black and white colourway that Clare Waight Keller has been favouring lately. There was plenty of glamour imbued thanks to the ruffles and red lip.

Virginie Ledoyen: The French actress was one of the few not to wear black or white at this event. I love the baby blue hue of her Prada dress which featured the brands signature embellishments.

Tracee Ellis Ross: The ‘Blackish’ star is the latest to rock Chanel look featuring a beret during Haute Couture Fashion Week. It’s making we wonder if the beret is going to be the headwear to be seen in this season.
