Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Lana Del Rey joined Katy Perry on the red carpet at the 2012 Echo Awards in Berlin, Germany, last night where she also performed her new song ‘Video Games’.

The singer wore a Giorgio Armani Spring 2012 strapless ice-blue gown with a gathered detail at the waist which drapes into a silver-lined layer.

A Versace blue pendant necklace was teamed with large gold hoop earrings, a statement ring, glitter ballet flats and her mobile phone to accessorise her look.

Her beauty regime was kept to neutral colours and her hair was teased into a half-up, half-down style.

I’ve tried, but I just can’t get it up for this girl. I’m never excited about anything she wears on the red carpet.

As nice as this dress is, I prefer the shorter length on the runway. Had Lana worn heels, the length of her dress wouldn’t have been so bothersome.

She’s still in the early days, so hopefully she will give me something to wow about in the future, but I’m not holding my breath.

Rihanna is on a bit of a roll at the moment following her BDOTW win.

The singer was in London to attend the Stella McCartney special presentation during Fall 2012 London Fashion Week on Saturday.

She looked outstanding once again wearing a sexy forest-green custom Giorgio Armani gown.

Her spaghetti-strap gown with a plunging v-neck, open back and thigh-high split was teamed with gold Tom Ford python heels.

The rest of her accessories included Susan Caplan vintage gold chokers and bracelets plus Annoushka diamond rings.

Love or hate her hair, she just oozes sex appeal, as this collabo with Armani is really working wonders for her.

To the 2012 Grammys she wore her hair curled, but on this occasion she opted for straight silky locks.

I wonder how Stella felt about her guest of honour wearing a dress by a different designer?

Rihanna in Giorgio Armani was the eventual readers’ choice for BDOTW.

She did look stunning on the red carpet at the 2012 Grammy Awards, but with that two-tone hair the majority of you did not believe she was worthy.

Right up until 7pm on Friday evening I was sure Léa Seydoux in Elie Saab would get my vote, but the pint-sized diva that is Christina Ricci stole my vote at the eleventh hour.

I still don’t know how she is able to make herself look so tall, but she was totally captivating wearing a Jenny Packham gown on the red carpet at the Berlinale Film Festival.

My girl of the moment didn’t let me down.

Without much effort, Rihanna looked super sexy as she walked the red carpet at the 2012 Grammy Awards in LA this evening.

She had jaws dropping wearing a Giorgio Armani black silk custom gown.

The gown features a plunging neckline that is complemented by a respectable yet still daring central split. The back is dramatically open before the gown cascades into an elegant train.

Rihanna revealed that she had co-designed the dress with Giorgio Armani, and that she’s currently working on a capsule collection for the designer. Her inspiration for this dress was Michelle Pfeiffer in ‘Scarface’.

I still don’t get RiRi’s dirty blonde hair with visible roots and blunt bangs, but whilst wearing this gown, who’s checking out her hair?

Pendant necklaces, a gold clutch and Christian Louboution PVC-accented pumps completed her look.

Her makeup is flawless.

She was one of the best of the night.

Making her highly anticipated comeback after undergoing surgery on her vocal chords, Adele hit the red carpet at the 2012 Grammy Awards in LA this evening.

Up for the night’s biggest awards, Adele proved her true diva status in a Giorgio Armani gown.

She looks stunning in the three-quarter-length-sleeved dress covered in black sequins and cinched in at the waist by a black grosgrain panel on the front.

Showcasing a lighter hairdo, she completed the look with bright red lippie and dazzling diamond-encrusted De Beers earrings.

What a great way to make your comeback. This is the best she has ever looked.

Adele will also be performing this evening.

Jodie Foster stayed faithful to her favourite designer, Giorgio Armani, at the 2012 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday.

The surprising thing was that the dress wasn’t in her favourite colour, navy blue.

On this occasion she dazzled in a Mediterranean-blue custom Giorgio Armani gown.

Her fully beaded strapless corset dress with a structured crescent-shaped bustier dress has an intricate border that combines rosettes and multi-bead patterns.

The final detail was the cinched waist which gathers into a beaded side ruffle that cascades down her skirt.

I wish she’d opted for silver shoes, but instead she opted for black Ferragamo peep-toes.
