2014 Glamour Awards

2014 Glamour Awards

There was yet more glamour to be had on the red carpet (aside from Diane Kruger and Poppy Delevingne) at the 2014 Glamour Awards in Milan, Italy, on Thursday (December 10).

Nicoletta Romanoff: The Italian actress keeps up her love affair with all things Valentino, wearing a red and burgundy lace panel dress styled with a red studded Valentino clutch.

Sofia Odescalchi: The journalist brings a wish-list dress to life, donning a strapless Fendi pretty pink floral dress styled with a contrasting Fendi clutch to give the look a slight edge.

Valentina Corti: Looking radiant in Giorgio Armani, I’m delighted to see that she opted for a better clutch option than Cheryl Fernandez-Versini when she wore the same dress earlier this month.

Jessica Chastain attended the New York premiere of ‘A Most Violent Year’ held at the Florence Gould Hall Theater on Sunday (December 7) in New York City.

The gorgeous actress wore a custom-made Giorgio Armani wrap gown, inspired by an Armani look that she wears in the movie as her character, Anna Morales.

Simple and fluid yet captivating in a bold red hue, Jessica’s elegant and effortless style continues to leave me in awe.

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Men 5 december

Here is quick round-up of gents who took to the red carpet yesterday evening (December 4).

James Marsden:
The handsome actor attended the 2014 GQ Men of the Year party held at the at the Chateau Marmont in LA looking sharp wearing a Thom Sweeney navy mohair three-piece suit. Aside from by hypnotized by that rich navy hue, I’m also saluting the mix of burgundy and brown incorporated into this look. There is never a dull moment in menswear when James is around.

Richard Armitage: The actor suited up for the Paris premiere of ‘The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies’, held at Le Grand Rex on Thursday (December 4). Opting for the sartorial elegance of Ermenegildo Zegna once again, this time he looked even more dashing in a burgundy shawl-collar suit styled with a grey shirt and brown striped tie.

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini In Giorgio Armani - The Katie Piper Foundation Ball

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini attended The Katie Piper Foundation ball on Thursday (November 27) held at Lindley Hall in London, England.

Keeping up the glam factor from the X Factor, the singer wore a Giorgio Armani Fall 2014 long column gown shimmering with beaded embroidery which it taps into the season’s love for everything sparkly.

The look was styled with NOA Fine Jewellery floral lace earrings, an envelope clutch and metallic silver pumps.

I wish she opted for the runway clutch, but all things considered this is a great look for Cheryl.

Selena Gomez In Giorgio Armani – 2014 American Music Awards

Selena Gomez In Giorgio Armani - 2014 American Music Awards

Following her sombre, aging, uninspiring, braless red carpet look, Selena Gomez performed onstage at the 2014 American Music Awards held at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday (November 23) in Los Angeles, California.

The singer wore a custom Giorgio Armani blush gown with a deep-scoop neckline and delicate layers of soft tulle which will have us all saying, “This is much more like it” and “Why didn’t you make this your red carpet look?”

Ethereal and enchanting, the look was styled with a simple half-up, half-down hairstyle with the makeup soft and in neutral hues to complement her gown.

For the first time in a long while, this is a Selena Gomez look I can fully get on board with.

'Horrible Bosses 2' LA Premiere Menswear Roundup

Jennifer Aniston was joined by a host of her male co-stars for the ‘Horrible Bosses 2′ LA premiere held at TCL Chinese Theatre on Thursday (November 20) in Hollywood, California.

Chris Pine: Be still my beating heart. It has been a while since we last saw the actor on the red carpet. On this occasion he opted for the ultra-suave offerings of Giorgio Armani, wearing a Made to Measure two-button peak-lapel pin-dot-pattern wool and silk blend suit with a classic white shirt and a black neck tie for his red carpet look. No wonder the Italian brand snapped him up to be the face of their Armani Code signature men’s fragrance.

Jason Sudeikis: I would say the actor was well on course for his second BDOTW win in this sleek navy-blue suit. Once again he styled his look with some dapper accessories, in this case a polka-dot green and white tie and matching pocket square. A spot on the Best Dressed Man of 2014 list from this promo tour alone is in the offing.

Charlie Day: Navy-blue was also the colour selected for Charlie’s smart notched-lapel suit.
