Front Row @ Giambattista Valli Fall 2017 Couture

As we all know, Giambattista Valli makes the most beautiful, magical dresses, so when I see how both Celine Dion and Olivia styled their front row looks I’m slightly perplexed.

Spring dresses with heavy fall shoes? In July? Mid-heat wave?

Sorry, I just don’t get it.

I suppose I can give Olivia a pass as her oxfords ground her feminine guipure lace look, but there will be no such forgiveness for Celine.

Her velvet over-the-knee burgundy boots don’t make any sense plus they totally overcook the look.

I hope this isn’t the beginning of the decline for Dion.

Nieves Alvarez Out In Venice Wearing Giambattista Valli

If you’re anything like me, this photo of Nieves Alvarez provided a good dose of wanderlust—and style envy.

The Spanish beauty was recently seen out in Venice, Italy, where her Giambattista Valli Spring 2017 floral-print frock looked tailor-made to its captivating surroundings.

The fresh, mint-green colour was beguiling; the feminine, cold-shoulder silhouette was politely seductive; and the delicate, sheer fabric simply floated in the breeze.

Styled with Bulgari jewelry and golden Aquazzura sandals, it was an entrancing look that was all the more powerful for its delightfully unforced, nonchalant quality.

Zoe Saldana in Giambattista Valli – NALIP 2017 Latino Media Awards

Zoe Saldana was honoured with an award at the NALIP 2017 Latino Media Awards on Saturday (June 24) in Hollywood, California.

Ripe with glistening, embellished strawberries throughout, this Giambattista Valli Fall 2017 dress riffed on playful whimsicality—with a grown-up edge to the girly inclinations that rested most prominently in the big bow at the waist.

I’m sure all those with sheer fatigue can appreciate the proper lining of the lace-accented frock that really took nothing away from the original version.

A pink lip and loose curls completed the sultry-sweet look that didn’t take itself too seriously.

Araya A. Hargate In Ralph & Russo Couture & Giambattista Valli Couture – 2017 Shanghai International Film Festival

Araya A. Hargate amazed us at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival for her ultimate command of head-turning maternity style. At the 2017 Shanghai International Film Festival over the weekend (July 17 and 18), she kept her mama-to-be style statements going strong.

First up, she offered up a purely feminine and romantic stance with this petal-pink organza robe gown from the Ralph & Russo Spring 2017 Couture collection. Long waves cascading around her shoulders played right into the dreamy boudoir mood. A Jaeger-LeCoultre watch paid homage to the official watch of the festival.

Laura Haddock In Giambattista Valli Couture & Luisa Beccaria – ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ China World Premiere & Ten Year Anniversary Celebration

Laura Haddock upped her fashion game and debuted two looks for the ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ China World Premiere and Ten Year Anniversary Celebration on Tuesday (June 13) in Guangzhou, where Isabela Moner was also in attendance.

First up, a Giambattista Valli Couture Spring 2017 Couture ball gown that was nothing short of a fashion fantasy. The endless netted tulle that composed the frothy skirt and the geometric formation of embellishment contributed to the crystallized look that was ironically both extravagant and minimalistic at the same time. Piaget jewels completed the statement.
