Amanda Peet In Giambattista Valli – 2014 Emmy Awards

Amanda Peet In Giambattista Valli - 2014 Emmy Awards

Amanda Peet positively glowed on the Red Carpet at the 2014 Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on Monday (August 25). Her long flowing chiffon dress from Giambattista Valli Pre-Fall 2014—the perfect choice for a warm summer evening–revealed that Amanda and husband David Benioff are expecting their third child.

Designer Giambattista Valli is known for ladylike design with a laid-back vibe. Amanda’s sweet frock featured an empire waist, cap sleeves and an all-over floral print. She opted not to wear the matching satin coat that was shown on the runway and we applaud that decision.

Simple styling, including drop earrings, a small white clutch and white sandals, kept the focus on Amanda’s baby bump.

Kiernan Shipka In Giambattisa Valli & Carven – BAFTA Los Angeles TV Tea Party & Variety And Women In Film Emmy Nominee Celebration

Kiernan Shipka In Giambattisa Valli - BAFTA Los Angeles TV Tea Party & Variety And Women In Film Emmy Nominee Celebration

Kiernan Shipka had a busy Saturday (August 23) evening starting at the BAFTA Los Angeles TV Tea Party before moving onto the Variety And Women In Film Emmy Nominee Celebration.

BAFTA Los Angeles TV Tea Party: The ‘Mad Men’ actress wore a pretty Giambattisa Valli Resort 2015 strapless dress accented with a yellow and black grosgrain waistband and enriched with sunshine yellow embroidery which adds dimension and romantic allure to this classically ladylike frock. Black Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals and a gold clutch rounded out her look.

Variety And Women In Film Emmy Nominee Celebration: Darkening the mood for her second outing, the actress wore a midnight-blue playful Carven design defined by a voluminous flared skirt. Metallic silver pumps and a Lee Savage clutch provided the finishing touches.

No surprises that I am instantly drawn to the first look.

Emma Stone In Giambattista Valli & Saint Laurent – Late Show with David Letterman

Emma Stone In Giambattista Valli - Late Show with David Letterman

Emma Stone made a guest appearance on ‘Late Show with David Letterman’, taped at the Ed Sullivan Theater on Wednesday (July 16) in New York City following her appearance on ‘Good Morning America’, where she continued to promote her new movie ‘Magic in the Moonlight’ (which premieres in New York this evening).

Arrival: Her first look failed to excite. I’m not a fan of the silhouette or the print. This look ages her.

Departure: Things were much improved upon her departure, where she wore a pretty Giambattista Valli Resort 2015 red silk dress accented with gold embroidered lips around the waist and neckline.

Rocking the same Saint Laurent leather jacket from the first look, she opted to switch up the footwear, donning leg-lengthening nude pumps.

Giambattista Valli Fall 2014 Couture Front Row

Giambattista Valli Fall 2014 Couture Front Row

Giambattista Valli presented his Fall 2014 Couture show during Paris Fashion Week on Monday evening (July 7).

Sarah Close: The designer invited YouTube singing sensation Sarah Close to his show after falling for her charms: both beauty and talent. The lucky girl wore a Giambattista Valli Fall 2013 Couture white frock rendered with a blue embroidered bodice and a printed flared skirt. It’s a fairytale dress, perfect for the circumstances and the occasion, which she styled with white satin sandals.

Emma Watson: To close what was a busy day for the British actress, Emma kept it simple in black for this occasion. Wearing a drape-front black Grace blouse and J brand jeans, she styled the look with black pumps and a black bag, with only a touch of magenta to the lip providing a pop of colour. I would’ve died to have seen her wearing one of the dainty dresses from any of the GBV collections, but this is a chic showing nonetheless.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Nicola Peltz In Giambattista Valli Couture, Gren Wells In Stéphane Rolland Couture & Ansel Elgort In Valentino

BDOTW 30 June 2014

There was a two-way tie this week with two very different Couture looks taking top honours.

Nicola Peltz’ heavenly Giambattista Valli Couture and Gren Wells fashion-forward Stéphane Rolland Couture dress both had 21% of the votes.

My pick was also Gren for donning the most unique look this week and for restoring my faith in Stéphane Rolland following Li Bingbing’s gown.

When it came to the fellas Ansel Elgort was the clear winner taking 43% of the votes for his military inspired Valentino look.

Li Bingbing In Giambattista Valli Couture – ‘Transformers: Age Of Extinction’ New York Premiere

Li Bingbing In Giambattista Valli Couture - ‘Transformers Age Of Extinction’ New York Premiere

Li Bingbing attended the New York premiere of ‘Transformers: Age Of Extinction’ held at the Ziegfeld Theater on Wednesday (June 25) in New York City.

The actress wore yet another couture look on this promo tour, this time selecting a Giambattista Valli Spring 2014 look.

What sells this tri-colour strapless bustier gown to me is the structure of the pink layer, the drama of the black skirt and the pop of colour of the yellow bustier.

On paper you couldn’t sell this to me, but in reality it’s a masterpiece.

She is a total vision of loveliness. Oozing femininity. I love this from head to toe. This kicks those two missteps from Stephane Rolland and Sass & Bide into touch.

Did this risk pay off for you?
