Noomi Rapace In Giambattista Valli – ‘Babycall’ Rome Film Festival Premiere

Noomi Rapace made a return to the red carpet for the Rome Film Festival premiere for ‘Babycall’.

The Swedish actress wore a Giambattista Valli Pre-Fall 2011 dress.

Her red one-shoulder silk jersey dress has a grosgrain insert at the waist and a bow shoulder detail.

Noomi made this look her own by draping the dress over her shoulder.

With her hair in a tight bun she accessorized with a black and gold Lara Bohinc clutch and a gold cuff.

Despite Noomi wearing one of my favourite designers, I can’t get passed the pumps.

Earlier this year, Noomi made a huge splash on the red carpet, so I’m disappointed by her safe, inappropriate shoe choice on this occasion, even if they are by Christian Louboutin.

These heels are not red carpet worthy and should never been placed anywhere near this dress.

They are so heavy that they weigh down the look.

Jessica Biel In Giambattista Valli Couture – Fashion Group International’s 28th Annual Night of Stars Gala

Jessica Biel attended Fashion Group International’s 28th annual Night of Stars, which was held at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City yesterday evening, as the guest of Giambattista Valli.

The actress, who was front row at the designer’s Spring 2012 presentation earlier this month, wore a stunning white Giambattista Valli Fall 2011 Couture gown.

I had to look at this twice, because the first time I was looking at Jessica with a lot of pre-bias – greasy hair, boring Biel circa 2009, etc.

On second look I think she held her own in this gown. It’s not an easy look to pull off with the puffy layers on the shoulders.

Two years ago this gown would’ve overwhelmed her, but she stood tall and took complete ownership of this look.

I love her dewy glow and soft pink lips. Her make-up is perfect for this ethereal look.

A Giambattista Valli gold leaf belt and Fred Leighton jewels completed her look.

Olivia Palermo In Giambattista Valli for Macy’s Impulse – Giambattista Valli for Macy’s Impulse Launch Event

Olivia Palermo was on hand to help one of her favourite designers, Giambattista Valli, launch his Macy’s Impluse collection at the Herald Square store in New York City yesterday.

She was of course wearing a look from the Giambattista Valli for Macy’s Impulse collection.

Her velvet burnt-out black strapless dress with a grosgrain waistband was teamed with a military-inspired blazer and a gold belt.

She mixed her metals by added silver Zara brogues, a silver pendant necklace and a silver sequined Mango shoulder bag which she carried as a clutch.

Who Wore Giambattista Valli Better? Emma Stone or Lauren Santo Domingo

Emma Stone wore a Giambattista Valli Fall 2011 ensemble to the ‘Friends With Benefits’ New York premiere.

Her red cashmere sweater and pink silk peplum skirt, which she teamed with Christian Louboutin nude pumps, a bronze clutch and Jack Vartanian jewels, won BDOTW and unintentionally upstaged the star of the movie, Mila Kunis.

Moda Operandi founder Lauren Santo Domingo wore the same look whilst hosting a party to celebrate Derek Blasberg’s ‘Very Classy’ book at the Hotel Bel-Air in LA on Monday night.

Both look gorgeous, but I prefer that Emma wore her hair up with this attention-grabbing look.

I’m also slightly put off by Lauren’s visible bra, so Emma wins for me.

You can shop Emma and Lauren’s look at Net-A-Porter.com.

Sidewalk Style: Katy Perry’s Pink Giambattista Valli Cape Dress

Katy Perry was spotted leaving the Piccadilly Theatre in London yesterday evening, where she saw ‘Ghost: The Musical’ with her mother-in-law Barbara Brand.

The singer appears to be currently inspired by American model Charlotte Free, as Katy matched her pink hair to her pink Giambattista Valli Fall 2011 dress.

Her tailored crepe cape dress is quite a minimalist look for the usually flamboyant singer, but the colour keeps this look characteristically Katy.

A chic updo, tights, black Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle’ patent pumps and a punchy pink lip colour completed her look.

Katy’s cape dress is available to purchase from Net-A-Porter US and Net-A-Porter International in black and white, and in red from Luisa via Roma.

Lucy Liu In Giambattista Valli – Tory Burch Hosts The Launch Of ‘Seventy Two’ By Lucy Liu

Tory Burch hosted the launch of Lucy Liu’s book, ‘Seventy Two’ in New York City last night.

The Asian beauty wore a Giambattista Valli floral print dress from the Fall 2011 collection, which I added to my favourite this week.

Her cream and black dress with padded shoulders and sleeves, was teamed with black tights, black ankle boots and an aqua clutch.

Normally I would moan about the tights, but I really like them on this occasion, as it gives her look warming Fall feel.

Barely-there makeup and a high bun completed her look.

Sidewalk Style – Emma Stone In Giambattista Valli

Emma Stone was spotted leaving her hotel in London on Tuesday night following the premiere of her movie, ‘The Help’.

She wore a Giambattista Valli Fall 2011 dress.

The colourblock peplum dress features a black top with embroidered sleeves and a white mini-skirt.

Her sexy, chic look was accessorized with a black Judith Leiber clutch and Christian Louboutin ‘Vicky Jane’ ankle-strap pumps.

A simple ponytail, red nails and pink glossy lips provided the finishing touches.

Many of you weren’t so excited about her premiere look, so how do you feel about this?
