3rd Annual InStyle Awards Red Carpet Roundup

The 3rd Annual InStyle Awards on Monday (October 23) in Los Angeles, California brought out numerous stylish ladies donning their most head-turning ensembles.

Angela Sarafyan: The ‘Westworld’ actress put a darker twist on a princess silhouette in a Georges Chakra Fall 2017 Couture gown. The black trim and the darker tulle layers lent an edginess to the full skirt. An Edie Parker ‘Jean’ clutch and Chloe Gosselin ‘Narcissus’ sandals played up the moody vibe.

Demi Lovato: Bringing a sultry elegance to a lavender Alice + Olivia Spring 2018 gown, the ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ singer toughened up the slip dress with a white studded belt and Leticia Linton ring. If I have to nitpick, I would have liked to see the dress a few inches shorter and a more formal belt.

Kelly Rowland In Georges Chakra Couture – 3rd Annual InStyle Awards

Kelly Rowland appeared to take inspiration from Andrea Riseborough for the 3rd Annual InStyle Awards on Monday (October 23) in Los Angeles, California.

Like Andrea, Kelly opted to wear over-the-knee boots with her Georges Chakra Spring 2017 Couture gown.

The majority weren’t impressed with Andrea, and I feel Kelly’s interpretation will be viewed even less favourably as her virginal white dress and red thigh-high boots seem at odds with each other.

My objection isn’t that she wore the boots, its more the colour of the boots. Pink, yellow, blue or lavender would been preferred.

ELLE’s 24th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration Red Carpet Roundup

From ELLE’s 24th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration on Monday (October 16) in Beverly Hills, California, we’ve seen the likes of Kristen Stewart and Jennifer Lawrence. Here is a roundup of the rest of the gorgeous actresses who were in attendance.

Jessica Chastain: The vinyl Fashion Week trend didn’t go down too well with the majority, but Jessica put her graceful spin on the trend in Calvin Klein which is the most glamorous interpretation I’ve seen yet.

Margot Robbie: After a colourful week promoting ‘Goodbye Christopher Robin’, Margot opted for the simple elegance of Calvin Klein. I adore the sensuality of this look, plus the embellished sandals.

Zoe Lister-Jones: The Chinese influence of her gorgeous McQ Alexander McQueen floral dress is there for all to see. It’s the complementary styling of Irene Neuwirth and blue suede shoes which really perfected the look.

Sonequa Martin-Green In Georges Chakra Couture – Star Trek: Discovery Premiere

Sonequa Martin-Green swept onto the scene at the premiere of ‘Star Trek: Discovery’ on Tuesday (September 19) in LA.

Bringing her own sense of moody ethereality to the premiere, she donned a Georges Chakra Fall 2017 Couture gown.

What made the design so intriguing was that it fused a sense of edgy futuristic structure with flowy, floral femininity.

From afar, you could even mistake that flower motif for a starry constellation.

The long skirt did seem a bit too long, slightly overwhelming Sonequa’s frame. But I still love the direction she was taking with this look, with her amazing hair topping it off.

Miranda Cosgrove In Georges Chakra Couture – XQ Super School Live Event

Miranda Cosgrove was a breath of fresh air at the XQ Super School Live event on Thursday (September 8) in Santa Monica, California.

While many are looking towards fall with their sartorial statements, the starlet stayed firmly planted in an endless summer—for now—with her Georges Chakra Spring 2017 Couture frock.

I love the femininity of this peplum design in partnership with the whimsy of the lightly sheer lace and sprigs of embellishment throughout.

A cherry-red lip wrapped up the dainty-cool look that was delightfully youthful without venturing too sweet or twee on the starlet.

Vanessa Hudgens In Georges Chakra Couture – FOX 2017 Summer TCA Tour

Vanessa Hudgens attended the FOX 2017 Summer TCA Tour after party on Tuesday (August 8) in West Hollywood, California.

Wearing an embellished light blue floral flutter sleeve cocktail dress from the Georges Chakra Couture Spring 2016 collection, my immediate thought was this didn’t photograph well when compared to the runway – so I’m going to give Vanessa the benefit of the the doubt.

Aside from that I liked sweetness of the frock which is elevated by the floral appliqués and her decision not to over-style the look.

Le Vian and Joelle jewels completed her look.
