Olivia Palermo In Fendi & Willow – Fendi Buggies Launch Event

Olivia Palermo In Fendi & Willow - Fendi Buggies Launch Event

On Wednesday evening Fendi hosted an event at their Fifth Avenue flagship store in New York City to celebrate their new Fendi ‘Buggies’ bag.

Olivia Palermo was in attendance and that halo she has been wearing for so long appears to be slipping if this look is anything to go by.

Usually the queen of getting it oh so right, I feel like there is just a little too much going on here.

Regarding trends, we have the fringe ‘Willow’ skirt (which she also wore last week) and the plaid trend via her shirt.

Her Fendi mink cropped tri-colour jacket, which should’ve been the focal part of this look, would’ve benefited from a black sheer shirt and black skinny jeans.

The only things that get my thumbs up are her red Aquazzura sandals and her Fendi baguette.

Sarah Jessica Parker Rocks Her Fendi ‘Adele 1328′ Bag

Sarah Jessica Parker Rocks Her Fendi ‘Adele 1328? Bag

It looks like it’s not only Lady Gaga who has a brand new bag; Sarah Jessica Parker does too.

The actress was spotted out in New York City taking her daughters to school yesterday morning carrying the same ‘Adele 1328? bag from the new ‘Selleria’ collection.

SJP also opted for the two-tone version in olive and black, with her initials in bright pink.

You may remember that when Fendi released their ‘2Jours Elite’ leather shopper last year, SJP was the first to be seen carrying her monogrammed bag.

Rita Ora In Fendi & John Galliano – iHeartRadio LIVE

Rita Ora In Fendi - iHeartRadio LIVE

Despite posing in a Maison Martin Margiela Couture look on instagram last night, Rita Ora didn’t wear the look for her red carpet arrival or performance for iHeartRadio LIVE presented by Bloomingdale’s yesterday evening.

We also now know that she only dyed the tips of her blonde hair both pink and orange to punk up her ‘do for Fall.

Red Carpet: Wearing head-to-toe Fendi the British singer wore a striped mink-and-knit sweater, striped mink skirt and leather booties with mink detail and sculpted heel all from the Fall 2013 collection. Beads of sweat are forming on my brow just looking at her in this outfit.

Performance: She had even more fun with her performance look donning a John Galliano Spring 2014 yellow frock with sheer inserts and laser-cut floral appliqués, styling the look with the black-and-yellow bow front wedges the dress was presented with on the runway. While I love the look, it may just be a tad too short and twee for Rita.

I know many of you do not like Rita’s style, so do you like either of these looks?

Anna Dello Russo’s Four Looks In One Day

Anna Dello Russo's Four Looks In One Day

Following her head scratcher from the previous day, Anna Dello Russo was back on fine form taking to her playground with four separate looks in one day.

While you are saying “who’s got that kinda time?”, let’s dissect the looks.

Balenciaga: Anna kick-started her day wearing a leather Celine Pre-Fall 2013 mini dress styled with both the oversized Celine belt and the dual-colour lace-up flatforms that this look was styled with in the look book.  Adding her own creativity, she styled the look with a straw boater, a black clutch and a Lanvin ‘Happy’ gold necklace.

Balmain: For quick-change number two she wore a floral Valentino Fall 2012 flirty frock with contrasting white collar and cuffs.  This is my least favourite of the looks as it is far too twee for Anna.  She should leave this for the likes of Miroslava Duma.  Also, the styling doesn’t work for me.  Not the bag and especially not the shoes.

Lanvin: By nightfall, Anna really got into her stride.  She wore a head-to-toe perfect look, mixing a Lanvin Fall 2013 strapless butterfly-print dress with a contrasting black-and-nude ponyskin belt which I find really enticing.  Plus she went the distance adding an opulent necklace, a two-tone clutch and black strappy sandals.

Moncler Dinner: While most probably went from the Lanvin show to the Moncler party without passing ‘Go’, Anna nipped back to her hotel for her fourth and final look of the day.  Possibly saving the best for last, she put on her silver sparkling heels to dazzle partygoers in her fresh-off-the-runway Fendi Spring 2014 look, which featured a crystal-embroidered mini skirt and a sheer top with broken-effect red pieces.

The evening looks are preferred over the day looks.  I think I slightly favour the Lanvin over the Fendi, but only by half a per cent.

Rita Ora In Fendi – Il Pizzaiolo Restaurant

Rita Ora In Fendi - Il Pizzaiolo Restaurant

This is one of two looks for Rita Ora yesterday evening.

She was spotted leaving Il Pizzaiolo restaurant in London with her mother wearing a head-to-toe Fendi Spring 2013 look.

The look consisted of a graphically blocked intarsia-knit crewneck sweater with an ‘f’ motif which she styled with matching leather skirt and which also had colour-block and geometric appeal.

You can’t wear a Fendi Spring 2013 look without donning their ‘Armadillo’ geometric-infused statement-making heels with a studded cubist heel, so Rita obliged with a nude, cream and white pair with a black ankle strap.

I guess adding a Fendi ‘2Jours’ bag would’ve been overkill, so she selected a dual-coloured Chloé’ ‘Baylee’ tote, with the rest of her accessories including statement bracelets and gold hoop earrings.

Red lips as standard and a high side bun completed her Fendi head-to-toe look, which I am surprised I like considering she looks like she stepped out of a Fendi lookbook.

Fendi Opening Party & ‘The Glory Of Water’, Karl Lagerfeld’s Exhibition Preview

Fendi Opening Party & 'The Glory Of Water', Karl Lagerfeld's Exhibition Preview

Fendi held a party on Avenue Montaigne in Paris, France to celebrate the opening of a new store, which was followed by ‘The Glory Of Water’, Karl Lagerfeld’s exhibition preview yesterday evening.

Miroslava Duma: The fashion editor, who had attended the Elie Saab and Valentino shows earlier in the day, showed the brand some love by wearing brown leather culottes from their Spring 2013 collection with a taupe sleeveless silk top and strappy sandals. I love the addition of the quirky Fendi tri-colour cube clutch to add a fun talking-point piece to her sophisticated look. A hot-red lip colour and her favourite necklace provided the finishing touches.

Naomie Harris: Opting for a sculptural Fendi frock, the British actress donned a white texturized sleeveless dress with a central slit and peplum detail. Continuing her love for ankle boots, which I first noticed during her ‘Skyfall’ promo tour, she wore black Fendi patent-leather peep-toes with a white rubber pyramid-spiked heel, with a black Edie Parker ‘Jean’ clutch completing her look. Naomi has pretty much stuck to a black-and-white colour palette while attending events during Couture Week. Is it starting to get stale for you? I do not like anything here. The dress is too fussy and the shoes just don’t work.
