Who Wore Fendi Better…Emma Roberts or Kate Upton?

Who Wore Fendi Better

Emma Roberts wore this red Fendi Spring 2014 silk jacquard fil coupe mini dress with a broken lines motif to the Vanity Fair Oscar party back in March. She styled her look with Dior Fine rings, red satin Brian Atwood ‘Kaela’ pumps and a deep shade of red applied to her lips.

Cut to April, and Kate Upton was spotted on the red carpet in Munich, Germany, where she attended the premiere of ‘The Other Woman’ wearing the same dress.

She also styled her look with a rouge lip, completing her look with sexy blown-out waves.

For me this comes down to the shoes.

Are Emma’s too matchy matchy or are Kate’s too expected?

I’m going for the latter so Emma wins for me.

Anna Dello Russo Front Row @ Milan Fashion Week Mens Spring 2015

Anna Dello Russo Front Row @ Milan Fashion Week Mens Spring 2015

Anna Dello Russo was front and centre during Milan Menswear Fashion Week Spring 2015 this past week, where the ‘Vogue’ Japan editrix was on her standard stylista behaviour, which is to say that she grabbed stares in a few rounds of flashy and splashy statements, whilst marching to the beat of her own fashion drum. Just another day on the front row for Anna.

Versace Show: ADR jump-started the collections on a shiny note, wearing a sequinned Ashish Spring 2014 colourfully striped mini-dress with Sophia Webster’s strikingly graphic ‘Riko’ sandals and a happy-face clutch. Did one of her first looks of men’s fashion week have you smiling?

Iceberg Show: Continuing the leggy theme, she sauntered out an Anthony Vaccarello Spring 2014 navy-blue, barely-there dress—a rather ironic choice for the Iceberg show. The frock featured the designer’s signature cutouts and sexy appeal, along with the spring collection’s triangular-shaped hem and cabochon buttons. Black booties and a gold Saint Laurent bag were mere afterthoughts to the pieced-together, skin-is-in dress.

Missoni Show: Switching from her Anthony Vaccarello edge to something a bit more sweet, she wore a Nina Ricci Spring 2014 flowery pastel dress, popped with a bolt of colour complements of Sophia Webster’s bold ‘Chiara’ butterfly sandals. A whimsical Yang Du clutch completed the look that actually wasn’t so innocent, given the see-through status of the dress that had her undies peeking through.

Fendi and Elle Magazine Celebrate an Original Collaboration with The Coveteur

Fendi and Elle Magazine Celebrate an Original Collaboration with The Coveteur

Following the celebration of the new Fendi boutique in London, a host of starlets took to the Fendi boutique in Beverly Hills, California on Thursday (May 21) for an event hosted by Fendi and Elle to celebrate the original collaboration with The Coveteur and the Fendi’s Spring 2014 eyewear collection.

Emma Roberts: The actress wore a dual-colour black and pink Fendi Resort 2014 dress. I love the primness of the look which is spliced with the edgy black racer front layered top. The Fendi mini ‘Peakaboo’ perfectly accessorized her look, but I can’t say I’m too keen on the Fendi sandals.

Ahna O’Reilly: Looking at Ahna’s Fendi ‘Iridia’ orange crystal shaped sandals, I can’t help but feel that these are the shoes that Emma should’ve worn. However, they also work perfectly with Ahna’s Fendi Spring 2014 futuristic leather strapless dress and mirrored Fendi shades.

Jordana Brewster: The ‘Dallas’ actress was also wearing a impeccable head-to-toe Fendi Spring 2014 look, donning a delicate strapless coral layered dress with a laser-cut pattern beneath. She accessorized with Fendi ‘Iridia’ heels and Fendi shades.

Despite feeling like I should pick one of the more summery frocks, Ahna’s edgier look is easily my favourite here.

Fendi Flagship London Store Launch

Fendi Host Dinner At Sotheby's

The new Fendi boutique opened on London’s New Bond Street on Thursday (May 1), with the celebration being attended by a selection of famous faces.

Suki Waterhouse: The model, who had attended a Prada event the night before, was wearing a head-to-toe Fendi look on this occasion featuring an interesting take on a crop top with a flared mini skirt. Opting for an interesting contrast of polka-dot ankle socks and white pumps, she completed her look with a studded Jimmy Choo ‘ice cube’ clutch.

Cara Delevingne: The model also wore a belly-baring look. Wearing head-to-toe black look consisting an Element Eden’Rascal’ crop top, quilted crop jacket, Tabitha Simmons ‘Eva’ suede ankle booties and J Brand ‘Maria’ super-skinny leather jeans, the face of Fendi’s Fall 2013 campaign added a touch of colour to her look with a Fendi ‘Buggies’ bag.

Poppy Delevingne: Sharing the red carpet with her kid sister, Poppy’s look is my favoured look of these three. Working a laidback look featuring a denim shirt, a dual-colour Mongolian fur gilet and leather pants, her effortless styling and lust-worthy accessories, including the ‘Peekaboo’ mini bag with a furry ‘Buggies’ accent, make this look chic enough for a store opening.

Lily Allen In Chanel & Fendi – Chanel VIP Beauty Launch & Fendi Bond Street Store Opening Party

Lily Allen In Chanel & Fendi - Chanel VIP Beauty Launch & Fendi Bond Street Store Opening Party

It’s hard being fashion’s current ‘IT’ girl. Lily Allen was invited to not one but two fashion events on Thursday (May 1) in London, England.

Her night started at Chanel’s Beauty VIP launch held at Covent Garden, where she wore a Chanel Spring 2014 green tweed dress with white embellished short sleeves, which she styled with a Fendi mini ‘Peekaboo’ bag with a Buggies accent.

If you think it’s rather strange that Lily, of all people, would attend a Chanel event carrying anything other than Chanel, the next look will help things fall into place.

Opting not to do a quick change in the car, Lily’s next stop was New Bond Street, where she donned a multi-coloured Fendi Fall 2013 fur coat over her Chanel frock for the cocktail party celebrate the opening of their new store and preview the Fendi ‘Peekaboo’ customised bags.

This isn’t the first time this coat has been seen off the runway; Anna Dello Russo was, naturally, the first to wear this fuzzy creation over a year ago.

The Fendi ‘Peekaboo’ bags, customized by iconic women, will be auctioned off online at Fendi.com/peekaboo-auction with all proceeds going to Kids Company.
