Gwen Stefani In Zuhair Murad & Fausto Puglisi – ‘The Voice’ Live Play Off

Gwen Stefani In Zuhair Murad & Fausto Puglisi - The Voice

Gwen Stefani took her place at the judges table for ‘The Voice’ live play offs on Tuesday (November 10) and Wednesday (November 11).

Look 1: Inspired by opulent stage wear once again, the singer wore a wore a show-stopping dress from Zuhair Murad’s Spring 2016 collection. A few weeks back I was worried that Gwen had lost her way, but this sequin-embellished glam-rock look styled with red Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ pumps, as well as her previous look, allays those fears.

Look 2: I loved this cropped and layered print look from Fausto Puglisi’s Spring 2015 collection. Mostly as it’s classic Gwen from her early days in No Doubt. Funky and chic, with touch of harajuku flavour.

Ellie Goulding In Versus Versace & Fausto Puglisi – 2015 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

Ellie Goulding In Versus Versace & Fausto Puglisi - 2015 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

Ellie Goulding was one of the guest performers at the 2015 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show held at the Lexington Avenue Armory on Tuesday (November 10) in New York City.

Red Carpet: You can’t hit the red carpet at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show without breaking the ‘legs or boobs’ rule, and Ellie did so in fine fashion wearing an alluring Versus Versace gown. While I love everything about this free flowing piece, she let herself down in the styling department.

Performance Look 1: Opening with ‘Love Me Like You Do’, Ellie wore white, but there was nothing angelic about this look. The very high-low gown accented with zipper accents was styled with a pair of Alexandre Birman ‘Loretta’ sandals.

Performance Look 2: Ellie’s Fausto Puglisi Spring 2016 dress was also styled with Alexandre Birman ‘Loretta’ sandals. In this look she dials down the sex appeal and gives us warrior woman. While I love this look, perhaps most of the three, the thing that lets her down – and with all three looks frankly – is the hair and makeup.

12th Annual CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards Red Carpet Roundup

12th Annual CFDAVogue Fashion Fund Awards Red Carpet Roundup

There were many more celebrities who hit the red carpet for the 12th annual CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards held at Spring Studios on Monday (November 2) in New York City.

Lorde: While I appreciate the rare smile, I can’t get on board with these unflattering Givenchy Spring 2016 pyjamas.

Zendaya Coleman: I simply adore the autumnal mood of this Thakoon Fall 2015 embellished dress, especially when styled with those cheeky fur trimmed shoes.

Demi Moore: When I think of Zac Posen I think of sharp lines and structure. All the things that this Spring 2016 dress does not possess. I’m not sure I care for it.

2015 InStyle Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Many more beauties (and one token lad) joined the mix at the 2015 InStyle Awards, held at the Getty Center in Los Angeles, California on Monday (October 26).

Miranda Kerr: Unfortunately, the flirty spirit of the supermodel’s Ulyana Sergeenko mermaid-inspired design was compromised by the unusual bodice and faux cutouts with white seam lines that turned the top half into something of an ice-skating costume. Jimmy Choo metallic sandals and a fun topknot rounded out the look.

Michelle Williams
: Channeling her inner rocker girl, Michelle donned an edgy Louis Vuitton ensemble that brought leather, laces studs, and embellishment to the party. Rather than opt for a black sandal, she kept the tough-chic theme going strong with her shoe-boots, messy hair and kohl-rimmed eye makeup. It may have been a bit much, but it all certainly translated more effectively than Selena Gomez’s Louis Vuitton effort.

Alessandra Ambrosio
: While Alessandra’s skin-baring side cutouts were real instead of illusion-lined, this Alexandre Vauthier Couture white plunge gown was just more of the same from the supermodel who never met a cutout she didn’t like. A Lee Savage clutch completed her typically sexy look.

Ruby Rose In Armani Privé, Fausto Puglisi, Versus Versace & Schiaparelli Couture – 2015 MTV EMA’s

Ruby Rose In Armani Privé, Schiaparelli, Versus Versace & Fausto Puglisi - 2015 MTV EMA's

Ruby Rose co-hosted the 2015 MTV EMAs on Sunday (October 25) alongside Ed Sheeran in Milan, Italy.

The ‘OITNB’ star served up several outfits changes with more misses than hits.

Red Carpet: In what was easily her best look of the night, Ruby rocked an Armani Privé frock coat and tapered trouser combo which was sexy, edgy and sophisticated all in one. She styled the look with some bling and Giuseppe Zanotti peep ankle boots.

Look 2: There’s nothing I liked about this Fausto Puglisi Spring 2016 toga style dress. It felt all wrong for Ruby. Overly fussy and not particularly flattering, the only thing working for her here are the boots.

Look 3: What I love about Ruby is that she had a laugh at this spaghetti dress. As I didn’t watch the show, I will have to assume this was part of a sketch in reference to the pasta-loving country in which the show was being held.
