Eliza Doolittle In Ermanno Scervino - BFI Gala Dinner

Eliza Doolittle attended a gala dinner hosted by the BFI ahead of the 57th London Film Festival held at 8 Northumberland Avenue in London yesterday evening.

For a girl who is known for her love of hot pants, this lingerie-inspired Ermanno Scervino Pre-Fall 2013 grey satin dress with a lace bodice shows a more grown-up side to her red carpet style.

With her curly brunette locks tumbling down over her shoulders, she completed her look with a rich-red lip colour, a small gold necklace and nude pumps – open-toe heels would’ve worked better here for me.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley In Ermanno Scervino - MARTINI 150th Anniversary Gala

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley attended the MARTINI 150th anniversary gala held at Villa Erba, Lake Como in Italy.

As a fellow attendee of this event, I was delighted that Rosie remembered me from the Michael Kors dinner earlier this year.

Adding even more glamour to the glamorous occasion, the model/actress wore a red suede Ermanno Scervino Resort 2014 dress with an organza hemline styled with navy suede Christian Louboutin pumps.

She is even more beautiful in person; people literally couldn’t keep their eyes off her.

If I was her, the temptation to embolden her juicy plump lips with a red shade would’ve been great, but she resisted, opting for a matte nude colour, with wavy glossy locks completing her look.

While we all danced hard in our 6in heels in the VIP area, I couldn’t help but notice that while we were all starting to fatigue, Rosie still managed to look as stunning as she did when she arrived, without a strand of hair falling out of place.

InStyle Summer Soiree

There were many more lovely ladies who attended the InStyle Summer Soiree held at the Mondrian Los Angeles in West Hollywood, California yesterday evening.

Darby Stanchfield: The ‘Scandal’ actress instantly caught my eye, not only because of the striking contrast between her gorgeous flame-red beehive and electric-blue drop-waist Paper London dress, but mostly because of her pronounced eyebrows, which gave the look a futuristic vibe, further punctuated by her sculptural Kzeniya clutch and Emporio Armani silver pumps.

Ashley Tisdale: Although this sleeveless Clover Canyon ‘Orchid Trip’ neoprene dress is very much expected from Ashley, I love the soft pastel pieces styled with the look. The black clutch is very much the odd man out here.

Analeigh Tipton: The actress was one of many who also opted for neutral tones, wearing a chic tunic top and matching trousers by Ermanno Scervino accented with a black waistband. Opting not to go with black accessories, she wore white Casadei sandals and carried a gold Stark clutch, with Dannijo earrings completing the look.

Margot Robbie In Ermanno Scervino - 'About Time' World Premiere

Following her early-morning BBC Breakfast appearance, Margot Robbie attended the world premiere of ‘About Time’ held at Somerset House in London yesterday evening alongside co-stars Vanessa Kirby and Rachel McAdams.

The pretty actress sporting a simple braid wore an Ermanno Scervino Spring 2013 top and skirt.

Adding the neon-yellow Nicholas Kirkwood platforms to give the look a youthful, fun element was a great idea; however, as much as I love pretty lace, the fringe detail at the waist kills the look for me.

This look would be perfect for an actress trying to cover a baby bump, but that is not the case here.

A gold Stark clutch completed her look.

I’m hoping Margot gets another chance to shine.

‘The Heat’ New York Premiere

The New York premiere of ‘The Heat’ took place at the Ziegfeld Theatre on Sunday evening with the two main stars in attendance.

Sandra Bullock: The actress slipped back to wearing black, wearing an Ermanno Scervino leather dress following her amazing purple-hued Prabal Gurung frock from last week. She makes me forgive and forget thanks to her outstanding Bottega Veneta appliquéd leather sandals.

Melissa McCarthy: When I saw this look I said “almost”. The actress wore a black jumpsuit, with a rather odd sarong-like detail wrapped around her waist. This detail kills the look, doing more harm than then intended good. I’m sure she would have looked better without it. Someone needs to put Mr Tadashi Shoji on her speed dial.

Zosia Mamet: One can only assume that Zosia was rolled out of bed and onto the red carpet for this premiere, as there is no other reason for this look.

Alice Eve In Ermanno Scervino - 'Star Trek Into Darkness' London Premiere

Many of us had written off Alice Eve for the ‘Star Trek Into the Darkness’ promo tour (once again I include myself) because we were so focused on Zoe Saldana.

Alice was serving plenty of sass appeal on the red carpet for the London premiere this evening.

Possibly taking on your feedback that you didn’t like her bangs, she swept her hair back into a chic bun while wearing an Ermanno Scervino Pre-Fall 2013 suede taupe strapless dress.

This isn’t a designer we often on the red carpet, however the results are always spectacular – case-in-point and see Gemma Arterton.

Alice’s styling which includes dual colour sandals and a black waistband evaluates the look ten-fold the one note runway look.

I don’t know if the new attitude is due to the new do, a new stylist or not wanting to play second fiddle to Zoe, but whatever is possessing Alice right now, I love it.
