Caitriona Balfe In Erdem – IFTA Film & Drama Awards

Caitriona Balfe attended the IFTA Film & Drama Awards on Thursday (February 15) in Dublin, Ireland where she won the award for Best Actress in a Leading Role – Drama for her work on ‘Outlander.’

She showed off a shorter haircut which only enhanced the dark ethereal feature of her Erdem Resort 2018 gown.

The dark colour plays into her fondness of black while staying true to the designer’s Gothic beauty aesthetic.

The embellishment enlivened the inky black base for a deeply romantic take.

The delicate gathers on the skirt play up the prettiness, but it’s the cross-over top that frames her face beautifully, thus having the most impact.

Overall, the look has a quiet, moody sweetness which showcases her statuesque beauty with a softer silhouette.

Rose Byrne In Dolce & Gabbana and Erdem – ‘Peter Rabbit’ LA Photocall and Premiere

Rose Byrne had a very rosy outlook while promoting ‘Peter Rabbit’ this weekend in Los Angeles, California, joining Margot Robbie.

Photocall: I love how her Dolce & Gabbana chiffon dress was oozing plenty of garden party appeal, with the romantic impact magnified by the statement yellow, pink, and red roses.

Premiere: On Saturday (February 3), the actress wore her second floral dress for this promo tour, selecting a glorious piece from Erdem’s Spring 2018 collection. With the stylistic references edge towards prim and proper, the punchy floral print and asymmetrical cuts keep things firmly in the modern arena.

The Duke And Duchess Of Cambridge Visit To Sweden – Day 2

The second day of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s royal visit to Sweden brought with it a trio of looks for Catherine, where she made the rounds in Stockholm on Tuesday (January 31),

Karolinska Institute Visit: Another day, another Catherine Walker coat from one of Catherine’s favoured labels. Yet, this red houndstooth number was a bolder departure for the duchess, and I loved every minute of it—especially because it was reminiscent of a Moschino look that Lady Diana wore in December 1990. However, Catherine did keep her accessories in rather safe, classic territory with a burgundy Chanel bag and matching Tod’s shoes along with Cornelia James gloves and In2Design baroque pearl earrings.

Inside: Once inside, Catherine replaced her coat with a tweedy, winter-white dress that you may be surprised to learn was Alexander McQueen, as it was such a subtle, conservative statement. I do think the burgundy handbag and pumps were a better fit here.

Fotografiska Gallery: She wore an Erdem floral dress to round out the day yesterday, and that trend continued here with this empire-waist design from the label’s Fall 2017 collection. The rich blue hue was so striking on her, but I was wishing for a different pair of shoes without ankle straps. Her last Erdem frock didn’t fare too well for many, so does the colour improve this second outing for you?

The Duke And Duchess Of Cambridge Visit To Sweden – Day 1

It would seem Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge together with Prince William, Duke of Cambridge had a packed first day of their four-day visit to Sweden and Norway on Tuesday (January 30), attending a number of royal engagements in Stockholm.

Bandy Hockey Match: Showing her classic sportsmanship, Catherine donned a Burberry ‘Toddingwall’ shearling trench coat topped off by a playful Eugenia Kim ‘Rain Pom Pom Beanie Hat’. She further bundled up in a bordeaux-hued Brora cable-knit snood, Sorel ‘Torino’ waterproof ankle boots and hockey gloves. But, it was the pure fun she seemed to be having here that was what really mattered.

Lunch at the Royal Palace: Offering the subtle peek at her burgeoning bump, she changed into a simple Catherine Walker bespoke ‘Bea’ shift dress for the lunch date. Her Kiki McDonough ‘Special Edition’ green gemstone earrings helped to enliven the look, whilst she returned to more traditional ground with her go-to black pumps, these by Tod’s.

Princess Eugenie Announces Engagement to Jack Brooksbank

So we now have two royal weddings in 2018, as Princess Eugenie of York and her long-term boyfriend Jack Brooksbank are set to wed this autumn.

The pair will marry at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle – the same venue where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will say ‘I do’ on May 19.

Mr Brooksbank, a wine merchant, popped the question in Nicaragua earlier this month and the happy couple released their official engagement photos yesterday (January 22).

Eugenie, who is eighth in line to the throne, wore a floral embroidered cap sleeve dress by her go-to label, Erdem with black satin heels from Jimmy Choo.

She proudly showed off her engagement ring – a padparadscha sapphire surrounded by diamonds, which bears a resemblance to the one worn by her mother, Sarah Ferguson.

The question is who will design her gown?

There has been speculation that Meghan will wear Erdem because the actress and the designer share the Canadian/English connection, but I would imagine Princess Eugenie would want her favourite designer to create her dress.

It could be a very busy year for Erdem Moralıoğlu.

Nicole Kidman In Erdem – Casting Society Of America’s 33rd Annual Artios Awards

Nicole Kidman was one of the presenters at the Casting Society Of America’s 33rd Annual Artios Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Thursday (January 18) in Beverly Hills, California.

Even thought there isn’t a full length picture, I was initially excited about this Erdem Spring 2018 gown, mostly because of the colour and those gorgeous cascading ruffles.

However, once splicing the pictures together, my eyes were drawn immediately to nude slip dress.

Both the tone and the length were unfortunately so wrong.

The length should’ve either stopped short at the opening at the front, or she could’ve gone the tonal granny panties and bra route, which I can’t see happening during my lifetime.

Natalia Dyer In Erdem – 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards

Natalie Dyer was one of the presenters for the 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards on Thursday (January 11) in Santa Monica, California.

Erdem’s romantic view of fashion and love for floral prints is beautifully celebrated Spring 2018 ‘Hael’ dress.

I don’t miss the tulle underskirt we saw on the runway, as I prefer Natalia’s more modern approach.

I would imagine some would want to pare-down the look with simple black sandals, so I love how Natalie’s opted to complement the waist detail and neckline with Sophia Webster ‘Lilico’ embellished sandals.

Narcisa Pheres diamond earrings and an Anabela Chan orion emerald ring completed the look.
