Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Erdem – Poland State Visit Day 2

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were out attending engagements in Gdansk, a port city on the Baltic coast of Poland, on the second day of the royal tour today (18 July).

Looking every inch an English rose, Catherine wore a top and matching skirt by Erdem, which is one of her go-to brands during royal tours.

If Catherine was a celebrity, I would be wondering if she’d switched stylists, as the – very subtle changes – in her style since Wimbledon have certainly put a spring in her step.

Not only is she looking much younger (with the glosser, shorter tresses), but much less frumpy and by her standards – more adventurous with her styling opting for Stuart Weitzman ‘NearlyNude’ patent-leather sandals and a clutch by Polish brand Etui.

Celebrities at the Wimbledon Championships

The Wimbledon Championships saw another round of pretties out to watch the finale action on Sunday (July 16) in London.

Rosamund Pike: I can totally see this Erdem floral-printed frock in a shorter version. As presented with the ruffle sleeves, flared long skirt, and embellished lavender shoes, the look presented as rather heavy and overwrought.

Emilia Clarke: There was much that was darling about this Dolce & Gabbana floral dress and accent bow, but there also much that was very fall about it. When styled with Mary Janes, it felt especially better suited for the forthcoming season. The sleeves also seemed a bit long.

Vanessa Kirby: I loved Vanessa’s Tory Burch dress for its inherent fresh, summery vibe, but also because the sweater top and box-pleat skirt had a chic tennis-uniform-inspired spirit. I do wish she had opted for another colour of sandal—I would have taken a complementary red, navy, or ivory over the nude pair.

Erdem x H&M

I was recently thinking that it’s been a while since the last H&M collaboration, and today it was announced that the next exclusive designer collaboration will be with Erdem, the London based must-have designer loved by celebrities and fashion insiders alike.

Erdem will reflect and reinterpret the design themes from some of his most celebrated collections, playing with the prints, textiles and delicate craftsmanship that have made his name.

Erdem x H&M will be available in selected stores as well as on www.hm.com on 2nd November 2017, so mark your calendars now.

Rose Leslie In Erdem – ‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 7 Premiere

Rose Leslie and her Dolce & Gabbana-clad beau Kit Harington attended the premiere of HBO’s ‘Game Of Thrones’ season 7 on Wednesday (July 12) in LA.

The actress wore a beautiful Erdem Pre- Fall 2017 floral jacquard gown with a silhouette lending both a glamorous and retro vibe, yet it feels too sombre for a summer premiere.

I do like how her rockabilly hair amps up that retro undertone, with glossy lips rounding out her look.

Was this also a case of right dress wrong season for you?

Zoe Kazan In Erdem – ‘The Big Sick’ London Screening

Zoe Kazan attended a special screening of ‘The Big Sick’ on Wednesday (July 5) in London.

For some reason I always have Zoe down as a bit of a goth, but this Erdem Fall 2017 gown dispels that notion with it notes of Victoriana melding into a modern-romantic vision of femininity.

Adding contemporary touches via the metallic sandals and Olympia le Tan clutch stands this look in good stead.
