Alexa Chung In Emilia Wickstead – 2014 British Fashion Awards

Alexa Chung In Emilia Wickstead - 2014 British Fashion Awards

Alexa Chung was also among the modish mix at the 2014 British Fashion Awards, hosted at the London Coliseum in London, England on Monday (December 1).

She donned an Emilia Wickstead collared frock that was prim and proper, thanks to a lined version of the runway version, echoing the ladylike theme of her entrance at the BFA Nominees Dinner a couple nights before.

She even wore the same pair of black retro, ankle-strap shoes and bold-red lip.

While the structure of the dress could seem a bit stiff, the shimmery fabric and leg-peeking front slit add a lighthearted touch.

The statement Charlotte Olympia clutch also brought punchy playfulness to the more buttoned-up look. The bright-blue handbag was every bit of whimsical fun with its takeout container shape and colourful insect embroidery.

Olivia Palermo In Emilia Wickstead – 2014 British Fashion Awards

Olivia Palermo In Emilia Wickstead - 2014 British Fashion Awards

Olivia Palermo attended the 2014 British Fashion Awards, held at the London Coliseum in London, England on Monday (December 1).

The socialite dressed in an Emilia Wickstead Spring 2015 front-slit ball skirt, which she opted to pair with a black sparkly shirt as opposed to the runway’s ivory bodysuit.

If it weren’t for the ill-placed, saggy pocket detailing on the top and the wrinkles on the wraparound skirt’s hemline, I would have been more drawn to this look. The lemon-meringue hue is tantalizing, after all.

Olivia topped it off with a smoky eye and straight, centre-parted locks, with her star accessory a striped statement clutch.

You may remember that this same Emilia Wickstead skirt was worn by Jena Malone for ‘‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ London premiere. I’m still in love with the energy Jena brought to her interpretation of the look.

Jena Malone attended ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1′ premiere held at Odeon Leicester Square this evening (November 10).

The actress wore an Emilia Wickstead Spring 2015 two-piece look consisting of an ivory body suit with a high-waisted bright yellow skirt with a wraparound effect rendered in scrumptious duchess satin.

I love how she made the look her own, wearing it off the shoulder, while still maintaining a classy appeal.

Watching Jena on the live feed, she was electrifying on this red carpet, so effervescent that her personality almost upstaged her look.

Alexa Chung In Emilia Wickstead – The Business of Fashion Party

Alexa Chung In Emilia Wickstead - The Business of Fashion Party

Alexa Chung attended The Business of Fashion party held at The London EDITION on Monday (September 15) in London, England.

Wearing what is fast becoming her favourite brand, she donned a black short-sleeved tea-length turtleneck dress from Emilia Wickstead’s Fall 2014 collection.

It’s an elegant look made more stylish with her favourite Bionda Castana ‘Nicole’ heels and more playful and Chung-like with her pink and red fluffy fan clutch. But I just wish a little more attention had been paid to the hair.

Alexa Chung In Emilia Wickstead – Alexa Manicure At Debenhams

Alexa Chung In Emilia Wickstead - Alexa Manicure At Debenhams

Following the re-release of her book ‘IT’ in paperback, Alexa Chung attended a photocall to launch her Alexa Manicure collection with Nails Inc. at Debenhams in London on Thursday (August 14).

When you think of Alexa Chung, tomboy, flats and messy hair spring to mind; these days, she’s seeking to changed those views and this look couldn’t be more opposite.

She wore a pretty short-sleeved wrinkle-textured Emilia Wickstead Spring 2014 dress featuring a mock neck and A-line waist, which she styled with Bionda Castana ‘Nicole’ black mid-heels with lace panels and an ankle tie.

On Tuesday I attended Alexa’s talk with Alexandra Shulman of British Vogue, where she wore this exact same outfit from head to toe; how very Kate Middleton of her to recycle so soon.

With no cameras at Tuesday’s event, I am glad she did recycle this look to give it a greater stage from which to be seen.
