Erin O’Connor In Emilia Wickstead – 2017 GQ Men of The Year Awards

Erin O’Connor was also in the mix at the 2017 GQ Men of The Year Awards, joining Poppy Delevingne and Charli XCX for the event on Tuesday (September 5) in London.

The last couple of times we’ve seen the statuesque model, she’s been wearing an Emilia Wickstead design and that trend stayed true with this Fall 2017 ensemble.

No sequin was left unused in this party dress that was fully encrusted with the shiny embellishment.

Yet, despite its high-shine appeal—and her fun, fur-topped sandals—there was still something about the look that felt rather strict and severe.

A Charlotte Olympia clutch completed the ensemble.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Markus Lupfer & Emilia Wickstead – Royal Germany Visit Day 2 & 3

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge continued making the rounds—and the wardrobe changes—during Day 2 of her royal visit to Germany on Wednesday (July 20).

Claerchens Ballhaus’ Reception: With her Prada scalloped sandals fast becoming a new favourite for the Duchess, she paired them with a Markus Lupfer Pre-Fall 2017 dress that likewise provided a less structured, more laid-back silhouette. I love her step towards elegant edginess in this artsy print, with a metal belt rounding it out.

Maritime Museum: We will be more familiar with this style of look from Catherine, in which she relied on one of her go-to designers, Emilia Wickstead, for this bespoke frock. The ladylike profile of the structured dress and swing skirt will always be an impeccable look for her—no matter how many times we see it. She did explore a new, exuberant palette in this bright lavender shade partnered with a contrasting red clutch.

The Serpentine Galleries Summer Party

Rita Ora, Ellie Bamber and Stacy Martin weren’t the only ones at The Serpentine Galleries Summer Party in London on Wednesday (June 28). Here, a look at the other stars in attendance.

Gala Gordon: This whimsical white Chanel Fall 2016 frock wasn’t too innocent, as the edgy, black accents imbued the look with just enough rebel spirit. The dress could have used a less distracting bra.

Charli XCX: Also going the way of white, the entertainer was entirely lovely in a Stella McCartney Fall 2017 top and lace skirt that I was head over heels for. Structured, chic, and sweet—and not over-styled.

Adwoa Aboah: While this Chanel pastel-beaded, sheer gown may have appeared to have all the qualities of standard prettiness, she added a layer of quirk appeal to its romantic side with the furry Chanel purse and white athletic shoes. Say what you will about the unexpected sneakers, but it was the necklace that I found so unnecessary with the already robust embellishment.

Erin O’Connor In Emilia Wickstead – Woodside Gallery Dinner In Benefit Of Elton John AIDS Foundation

Erin O’Connor looked beautiful at the Woodside Gallery Dinner in benefit of Elton John AIDS Foundation at Woodside on Thursday (June 22) in Windsor, England.

I love the romantic feel of this Emilia Wickstead dress, which is heightened by the nostalgic high-neck and short sleeves.

Erin’s statuesque proportions and the pearl details on the shoes and bracelet give this look a regal quality.

The red lip and low ponytail are the perfect finishing touches to this ensemble, wouldn’t you agree?

Laura Haddock In Emilia Wickstead – ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ London Premiere

Joining Isabela Moner at the ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ London premiere on Sunday (June 18), Laura Haddock took a delightfully chic perspective with her monochromatic, blush gown.

The Emilia Wickstead Resort 2018 gown was minimal in design, thus proving that sometimes no embellishment or bells and whistles are needed for that sway of magical charm—just a beautifully feminine hue and a pristinely sweeping silhouette.

A sleek bun, wrapped in pink, continued the pretty-in-pastel mood.

Because of the cut or the colour—or both—I was reminded of Gwyneth Paltrow’s pink Ralph Lauren gown from the 1999 Oscars. Yet, Laura’s maintained a freshly modern aura that provided a spirited new perspective.

Pippa Middleton and James Matthews Wedding

The Cannes Film Festival may be in full swing, but the other major event of the weekend was the wedding of Pippa Middleton and James Matthews on Saturday (May 20) at St. Mark’s Church in England.

I was awestruck by the classic beauty of Pippa’s bespoke Giles Deacon lace gown that featured a heart-shaped cutout at the back. It was enduringly romantic, sophisticatedly feminine and forever timeless—everything you’d hope a wedding dress could be.

Her fine tulle veil, with its dégradé of embroidered pearls, was made by renowned milliner Stephen Jones, and it brought a delicate, whisper-light addition to the gown.

A Maidenhair Fern tiara and matching headpiece by Robinson Pelham, along with custom-made Robinson Pelham earrings and custom Manolo Blahnik ‘Seneca’ pumps completed the graceful, fairytale look.

Of course, we cannot forget the bride’s bouquet which included astilbe, sweet pea, peony, freesia and waxflower, as the lushly simple array of white blooms couldn’t have been more suiting.
