Saoirse Ronan In Emilia Wickstead – The National Board Of Review Annual Awards Gala

After a sharp-shouldered look at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards, Saoirse Ronan stepped out at the 2018 The National Board Of Review Annual Awards Gala on Tuesday (January 9) in New York City.

The Best Actress winner donned an Emilia Wickstead Pre-Fall 2018 jumpsuit and Aquazzura platforms.

The beauty of the look is the flowing silhouette so I wish the pants were a smidgen shorter to prevent them from trailing.

I’ll overlook it because this was a departure from her ethereal looks and an exciting direction.

Her lack of accessories allowed the metallic herringbone fabric to remain the focal point.

The BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party

There were many more stars in attendance at the BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party, joining Diane Kruger on Saturday (January 6).

Michelle Williams: As we might have predicted, the actress was dressed in a Louis Vuitton design—this one a basic variation on a sheath dress with a graphic pattern to add visual interest.

Issa Rae: Continuing her sunny-yellow mood from the 2018 AFI Awards, Issa donned a Rosie Assoulin Spring 2018 frock that featured a sense of girly playfulness in the oversized ruffle detail. With Monica Vinader jewels to round out the look, she kept the styling simple and sleek this time around.

Emma Watson: Emma debuted a short set of bangs that had a certain Sofia Boutella influence to go with her Osman Resort 2018 ensemble. The sharp look prominently celebrated the menswear trend, with Susi Studio loafers contributing to that theme.

Jenna Coleman In Emilia Wickstead – Late Night with Seth Meyers

Jenna Coleman paid a visit to Late Night with Seth Meyers on Tuesday (December 12) to discuss ‘Victoria.’

The actress typically gravitates towards feminine looks with a modern flair and this Emilia Wickstead Resort 2018 dress was very much in her wheelhouse.

Some might feel it’s too summery for this time of year, but the asymmetrical neckline and ditsy print created a charming finish that I quite enjoyed.

Taking cues from the runway version, the former ‘Doctor Who’ star grounded the white frock with black shoes. She opted for heels which worked with the dress’s above-the-ankle hemline.

Cobie Smulders In Emilia Wickstead – ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ LA Premiere

Cobie Smulders joined a host of celebs for the ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ premiere on Saturday (December 9) in Los Angeles.

While most on this red carpet had a look that referenced space or the movie itself, I was hard pressed to find a link with Cobie’s Emilia Wickstead Fall 2017 two-piece look.

What this look did tell me is that Cobie has amazing abs and great style, but I kinda wish her accessories popped a bit more.

I would’ve loved a green Edie Parker clutch here.

The Fashion Awards 2017 Red Carpet Roundup

The long list of stars continued in full force at The Fashion Awards 2017 on Monday (December 4) in London.

Kaia Geber: I loved seeing the young model have some fun with the flirty nature of ruffles in this Ralph & Russo Spring 2018 two-piece, cold-shoulder look. It was style-forward, chic, and sweet at the same time. Messika jewels completed her look.

Adwoa Aboah: There was no sequin left unturned in this Halpern Spring 2018 sequin number, but it was the platform footwear that compromised its fresh potential.

Jourdan Dunn: The sultry seduction of the Versace label was fully celebrated in this orange gown. But I most loved the model’s gorgeous beauty look.

Carey Mulligan In Emilia Wickstead & Michael Kors Collection – ‘Mudbound’ New York & LA Screenings

Carey Mulligan continues to delight on the ‘Mudbound’ press tour, attending the New York screening on Sunday (November 19).

Emilla Wickstead is a designer known for her timeless, feminine, elegant styles and I think the aesthetic suits the actress perfectly.

This was evidenced with her Pre-Fall 2017 dress. The muted pink number evoked English rose beauty. It had a quiet sophistication with the puff sleeves adding a touch of whimsy.

Some might be let down by her wearing the same shoe style as the runway, but I’m not upset by the choice as the footwear works with the frock.

Monaco’s royalty celebrate Monaco National Day 2017

Monaco’s royalty stepped out to observe their country’s National Day celebrations at the Monaco royal palace on Sunday (November 19), alongside Princess Charlene and Prince Albert of Monaco.

From left to right, Andrea Casiraghi and his wife Tatiana Casiraghi, Louis Ducruet, Charlotte Casiraghi, Gareth Wittstock (Princess Charlene’s brother), Pierre Casiraghi and his wife Beatrice Casiraghi were all dressed to the nines for the festivities.

Tatiana Casiraghi: Making her Emilia Wickstead festive red coat her focus, I love how the vieled beret adds a touch of Parisian flare.

Charlotte Casiraghi: Perhaps paying homage to her late grandmother, Grace Kelly, the princess was dressed in a retro-style Vanessa Seward frock coat and a plum-coloured cloche hat.

Beatrice Casiraghi (née Borromeo): Also channelling a retro look, Beatrice wore a beige wool Dior Haute Couture jacket, inspired by the ‘Sahara’ collection from autumn-winter 1945, paired with a black wool Dior Couture skirt. Like the others it was really her accessories which gave so much life to the look. A Dior Haute Couture wool beige veiled beret, an exotic leather brown belt and brown exotic leather shoes completed her look.
