‘Yomeddine’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

The ‘Yomeddine’ Cannes Film Festival premiere this evening (May 9) had a number of beauties in attendance. They joined Louise BourgoinLi Yuchun and Julianne Moore.

Xenia Tchoumitcheva:  The model had a playful punky moment in Ellery Pre-Fall 2018. With the sharp check bodice and voluminous black skirt, it certainly wasn’t the typical Cannes gown, but there seems to be construction issues with it staying in the proper place. I have the urge to pull it up a few inches. The Edie Parker clutch enhanced the mood, but I foresee the braided buns being divisive.

Wang Likun: With the layers of white tulle, this Christian Dior Spring 2018 Couture gown was an appropriate choice for the dancer-actress. There is such an elegant grace to the look. The embroidered bodice adds allure.

Tiffany & Co. Paper Flowers Event And Believe In Dreams Campaign Launch Red Carpet Roundup

The Tiffany & Co. Paper Flowers event and Believe In Dreams campaign launch on Thursday (May 3) in New York City was positively brimming with beautiful fashion moments. Attendees joined Sarah PaulsonGreta GerwigZendaya Coleman and Elle Fanning.

Hailey Baldwin: The model showed a softer side in Ellery Fall 2018. This was a nice change of pace from her typical on-trend style. There’s a magical quality from the prismatic fabric, silver shoes and pared-back styling.

Yara Shahidi: The ‘Grown-ish’ actress looked elegant in Prada. Given some of the high impact looks, I expected more drama from her. This still oozes sophistication, but I would have loved to see her in something head-turning like her Marie Claire’s 5th Annual ‘Fresh Faces’ look.

Naomi Campbell: Combining a whimsical white coat with a sultry dress, she most definitely made a statement in Sukeina Fall 2018. The juxtaposition of the angelic frills with the sensual dress is dynamic and her unique interpretation of whimsy. Some might find it jarring, but it did succeed in commanding attention.

The BRIT Awards 2018 Red Carpet Roundup

Long, short, and everything in between, the eclectic looks marched on with so many more stars in attendance at The Brit Awards 2018 on Wednesday (February 21) in London.

Jennifer Hudson: I loved the sizzling hue of this red-hot Ralph Lauren gown, but not the fit. The patent-plasticized look would have been all shine had the silhouette been sleeker without the awkward folds.

Adwoa Aboah: Rita Ora wasn’t the only one in feathers, as Adwoa also took a flight of fancy with this Sonia Rykiel white dress. The model’s directional looks can sometimes be a tough sell, so I like the pristine romance she presented here with Jimmy Choo ‘Minny’ sandals and a Time’s Up rose to complete the picture.

Maya Jama: Given this House of Holland mini was a custom piece, I expected an impeccable fit and the pink metallic number delivered. She complemented its flirty, girlish side with Sophia Webster embellished sandals. But, I would have left the diamond choker at home.

Tessa Thompson In Ellery, Coach & Lingua Franca – Sundance Film Festival

Tessa Thompson has also been at the Sundance Film Festival, where she attended Twitter and ARRAY’s #HereWeAre brunch at the #TwitterLodge on Friday (January 19) in Park City, Utah. And, earlier today (January 20), she was bundled up at the Respect Rally there.

#HereWeAre Brunch: What I love about Tessa is that when she wears a trend-forward look, she fully commits to it. That was ever so the case in this burnt-orange Ellery Resort 2018 vinyl look, styled with a floral silk blouse, that had retro undertones of the ’70s. Some may have left it at that, but she brought in more mod flavour with those Solace London ‘Sawyer’ shoes from the Spring 2018 collection. You’ll likely remember the white version of the sculptural shoes that she wore last month—and that Rita Ora wore this Ellery trench, too.

Respect Rally: Sweet—and statement-making—Tessa donned the timely and event-appropriate Lingua Franca ‘Times Up’ sweater with a furry, plush Coach jacket to stay warm in the snowy scene. I love the beret for an added bit of chic flair.

Rita Ora steps out in seven feisty looks in New York City

It’s been a busy week for Rita Ora.

She just launched The Open Mic Project in collaboration with Absolut, which is a project designed to provide a platform for uniting the voices of people across the nation to share their personal stories of acceptance.

She also released a new single, ‘Anywhere,’ and is starring in the highly-anticipated film, ‘Fifty Shades Freed’, so she had a lot of promoting to do in New York City, following her breath-taking appearance at the Fashion Awards on Monday night.

Prada Double Club Miami, A Carsten Holler Project: There’s an incontestable sense of opulence to Rita’s Prada blush-pink suit. Mostly due to the embellished detailing on the jacket which this truly is hero piece, along with her Prada feathered sandals.

iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour: I know many of you aren’t fans of the pyjama trend, but I love the Rococo influence within her Vera Wang Collection ‘Ormalu’ print look. It feels so rich in heritage and luxe in design.
