Eva Longoria In Elisabetta Franchi – 2017 Billboard Latin Music Awards

Eva Longoria joined Jennifer Lopez on the red carpet for the 2017 Billboard Latin Music Awards held on Thursday (April 27) in Coral Gables, Florida.

Like Jennifer, Eva was dropping jaws, but for the wrong reasons.

While I love the Elisabetta Franchi Spring 2017 sharply tailored jumpsuit on the runway, it was a sad, sad mess on Eva. I want to cry for Elisabetta. I really do.

Like what the hell is going on with the trousers? Taking her cue from BFF Victoria Beckham no doubt.

Fabric dragging on the floor like that is so not elegant.

The jumpsuit doesn’t work with her proportions anyway, but I will have nightmares about those trousers.

I’m so exhausted from this rant I can’t even go in on the makeup.

Let’s pray she manages to turn things around before Cannes.

2017 Film Independent Spirit Awards Red Carpet Roundup

More stars were also in attendance at the 2017 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday (February 25) in Santa Monica, California.

Danielle Brooks: The ‘OITNB’ actress took the plunge in an Urban Zen by Donna Karan wrap jersey tunic and pant, complemented by a body chain—as if enough attention wasn’t already directed to the girls.

Natasha Lyonne: The actress took a custom Creatures of The Wind rose and green floral dresses out for a spin. The pleated frock held promise, but I couldn’t see the forest for the trees given the clunky, distracting styling with the oversized white clutch and ivory boots.

Anna Diop In ASOS & Elisabetta Franchi – ’24: LEGACY’ Premiere Event

Anna Diop attended the ’24: LEGACY’ premiere event on Monday (January 30) in New York City.

The actress ushered in a new mode of elegance wearing an ASOS tabard with Elisabetta Franchi trousers and Cesare Paciotti shoes.

This is such a cool look. Everything about it seems effortless and well put together.

I’m taking notes.

Chanel Iman In Elisabetta Franchi – Harper’s Bazaar Celebrates 150 Most Fashionable Women

Chanel Iman opted for a jumpsuit in lieu of a slinky evening dress for the Harper’s Bazaar celebration of the 150 Most Fashionable Women in West Hollywood, California on Friday (January 27).

I love how Elisabetta Franchi reimagined the one-and-done jumpsuit with a modern – and cleverly deceptive – silhouette.

Styled with a coat from the same designer, Chanel added Stella Luna ‘Zarafa’ heels and a box clutch for an eye-catching, chic look.

The Paley Center For Media’s Tribute To African-American Achievements In Television

The Paley Center For Media's Tribute To African-American Achievements In Television

The Paley Center For Media’s Tribute To African-American Achievements In Television was held at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel on Monday (October 26) in Beverly Hills, California.

Yaya DaCosta: The actress/model was a vision in yellow, but sadly my smile was turned upside down upon sight of the illusion panel on her Maria Lucia Hohan gown.

Brandy Norwood: The singer/actress wore an Elisabetta Franchi Fall 2015 dress which I love for the floral print and embroidered details and the obi-style belt. The look was styled with pointy blue Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ pumps and a Swarovski ‘Kiosque’ clutch.

Tyra Banks: She can smize, but she can’t dress to save her life. Unflattering and dated as per.

Kendall Jenner’s Paris Fashion Week Style

Kendall Jenner Paris

Kendall Jenner has been taking Paris, France by storm over the last week or so, spotted out on no fewer than nine occasions during Paris Fashion Week with a wardrobe change in effect at every step of the way.

Look 1: Adding a touch of sartorial androgyny, the model took a structured approach in a Solace London ‘Kusama’ top paired with Elisabetta Franchi high-waisted trousers, Givenchy ‘Pandora’ wristlet, Dior ‘Technologic’ sunglasses, and Camilla and Marc ‘Honour’ flat loafers. I love the vibrancy of the cobalt blue.

Look 2: At a dinner at ‘Le Gabriel’ restaurant with Balmain designer Olivier Rousteing, she naturally was wearing Balmain in a lace-up jumpsuit with ruffled pant legs. I simply cannot make it past the see-through effect and visible panties, so the rest of the look falls victim to the transparency for me. The Givenchy ‘Pandora’ wristlet completed the look.

Look 3: While leaving Laperouse Restaurant, she donned a Balmain logo-print tank top with Balmain Spring 2016 high-waisted pants, which was a significantly more appropriate than her previous Balmain offering. Her favoured Givenchy ‘Pandora’ wristlet made another appearance showcasing its versatility yet again.
