Comic-Con 2015 Red Carpet Roundup

Comic con roundup
The star-studded Comic-Con 2015 weekend brought out a host of other bold names for the range of parties and panel discussions in San Diego, California.

Natalie Dormer: Attending the Screen Gems panel, the ‘Game of Thrones’ actress wore a Mary Katrantzou lamur guipure lace and jacquard midi dress with blue-green embroidered accents. I like how her ponytail adds a fresh, breezy note to this darker look, but I have no words for the shoes that should have been a simple black or blue sandal if nothing else. You may remember that Shailene Woodley wore the same dress a few months ago.

Sarah Paulson: Fusing femininity with structure, this Suno cutout flared black dress was a successful look for Sarah at the Entertainment Weekly Comic-Con 2015 party. I was equally delighted to see her step outside the plain-black box with accessories including a silver Edie Parker clutch and silver Aldo shoes.

Kate Mara: Also joining the dark colour parade, Kate wore an embellished Valentino Fall 2015 design at the 20th Century Fox panel discussion. She let the mini dress shine all on its own with only minimal styling including a simple pair of black sandals and a few beaded bracelets, which I would argue were unnecessary too.

Laura Vandervoort In Elisabetta Franchi – 41st Annual Saturn Awards

Laura Vandervoort In Elisabetta Franchi - 41st Annual Saturn Awards

Laura Vandervoort attended the 41st Annual Saturn Awards at The Castaway on Thursday (June 25) in Burbank, California.

I love how she took cropped styling up a notch with this Elisabetta Franchi top featuring an open back for a subtly fearless edge and a decorative neckline which grants a luxe touch to this outstanding two-piece.

Styled with Stuart Weitzman sandals and a white Rauwolf clutch, this is the most refreshing summery look I’ve seen all week.

I shouldn’t be surprised really, as Laura consistently nails each of her red carpet looks.

Emily Blunt In Elisabetta Franchi - 9th Annual American Institute For Stuttering Benefit Gala

Emily Blunt attended American Institute for Stuttering Freeing Voices Changing Lives Gala on Monday (June 8) in New York City.

Refining evening elegance, the British actress wore a Elisabetta Franchi Fall 2015 jumpsuit in a cool navy-blue hue.

Aside from the colour and the impeccable tailoring, what really sets this apart from other jumpsuits is the sleek satin cummerbund which imbues the sophistication of a tuxedo.

Kurt Geiger ‘Bond’ pumps and OFIRA diamond jewels completed this head-to-toe perfect look.

2015 SAG Awards Red Carpet Roundup

SAG 1

Here is a quick roundup of some of the other attendees of the 2015 SAG Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday (January 25) in Los Angeles, California.

Caitriona Balfe: The ‘Outlander’ actress certainly caught my attention in her saffron-hued Solace London strapless gown styled with red Gianvito Rossi sandals, a blood-orange Rodo clutch, Vhernier earrings and a Neil Lane ring. This is one of my favourites of the night.

Danielle Brooks: The ‘Orange is the New Black’ actress stunned wearing a navy Christian Siriano gown. The body-enhancing gown with the delicate tulle overlay on the bodice and the sweeping train is easily one of her best looks to date. She looked radiant.

Adriana Lima In Elisabetta Franchi & Alessandra Ambrosio In Barbara Bui – Good Morning America

Adriana Lima In Elisabetta Franchi & Alessandra Ambrosio In Barbara Bui

Brazilian beauties Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio made a guest appearance on ‘Good Morning America’ on Monday (November 3) following the announcement that the duo will walk the runway for the Victoria’s Secret catwalk finale as ‘Dream Angels’, both wearing $2 million Fantasy Bras for the first time in the show’s 19-year history.

Adriana Lima: The Herve Leger for every occasion days are still well and truly behind the Angels. Here we see Adriana wearing a sexy yet chic Elisabetta Franchi blush-hued keyhole mini dress amped up with a pair of gold-plated open-toe Giuseppe Zanotti Design sandals. This look was my favourite of the two. I just love this colour against her caramel skin.

Alessandra Ambrosio: Alessandra also opted for a chic design; the model wore a Barbara Bui unique knit zip-front cape dress from the Resort 2015 collection, which she accented with a military-style belt. While her heels weren’t as lust-worthy as Adriana’s, they were perfectly in tune with the sexy sophisticated look she was going for.
