Regina Hall In Elisabetta Franchi & C/MEO Collective – ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ & ‘Girls Trip’ Atlanta Screening

Continuing promotion for ‘Girls Trip,’ Regina Hall made an appearance on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ on Monday (July 10) in LA before heading to the Atlanta, Georgia screening of the film on Tuesday (July 11).

‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’: The flowy white blouse top of this Elisabetta Franchi Fall 2017 dress balanced the glitz of the slit skirt for a look that appropriately balanced feminine sophistication with high-gloss glamour. Cesare Paciotti metallic sandals and a bold lip were the perfect finish.

‘Girls Trip’ Atlanta Screening
: A study in all thing asymmetric, this C/MEO Collective jumpsuit was a dynamic piece that Regina wore so effortlessly, with the subtle, consistent print to bringing the look together. I love how the pants riffed on a skirt with the crossover paneling and the slit up the left leg. She completed the look with the unexpected but brilliant punch of a fuchsia lip.

Nicole Scherzinger In Elisabetta Franchi – X Factor London Auditions

Nicole Scherzinger was seen leaving latest round of The X Factor London auditions on Wednesday (July 5).

I was immediately turned off this Elisabetta Franchi Fall 2017 dress due to the bulky shoulder pads, followed by the leather patch pockets.

Both read dated, but this tends to be something Nicole’s style often struggles to shake.

Katy Perry In Elisabetta Franchi – Caviar Kaspia Restaurant

Katy Perry was spotting leaving the Caviar Kaspia restaurant on Monday (July 3) in Paris wearing an Elisabetta Franchi Fall 2017 pink sparkly dress.

You might think Katy is mad for wearing a turtleneck knit dress in July, but the cape detail keeps things breezy.

My feeling is this could’ve translated into quite a romantic look, however, the slick back hair and metallic booties gave this look a much needed edge.

2017 BET Awards Red Carpet Roundup

For better or worse, there were many more attention-stealing looks at the 2017 BET Awards in LA on Sunday night (June 25)—many of which garnered stares for all the wrong reasons.

Dascha Polanco: White-hot was the M.O. for the ‘Orange Is The New Black’ star in her Bishme R. Cromartie pantsuit. The plunge made it typically sexy, but that architectural ruffle was like fashion’s version of whipped cream on top.

Sasha Lane: The young starlet has not shied away from directional looks—or tribal makeup—and this Proenza Schouler Fall 2017 ensemble styled with a Sergio Rossi ‘SR1’ sandal and silver python Proenza Schouler ‘Curl’ clutch strongly continued in that experimental vein. Those who don’t love this look will likely only see trash bag-inspired pants. Regardless, I wish the sheer top had fit her better.

Tamar Braxton: To go with her platinum ’do, Tamar wore rhinestones and see-through lace in this Walter Mendez gown that won’t pass the test for those with sheer fatigue syndrome. Was anyone else getting a strong Cher vibe?

Alessandra Ambrosio In A.L.C. & Elisabetta Franchi – Xti Summer 2017 Collection Launch

As the face of Xti Shoes, Alessandra Ambrosio was in attendance at the presentation of the Summer 2017 collection in Madrid, Spain on Friday (June 2).

While we are accustomed to seeing the supermodel in slit gowns and sizzling minis, here she took a more moderate approach in an A.L.C. ‘Mackie’ Top paired with Elisabetta Franchi Spring 2017 high-waist khaki pants.

Naturally, the pants were strategically cropped to show off her metallic sandals, with a loosely swept-back ’do and a red lip topping off the ensemble.

It was simple and refined, although not my favourite look as the fit of the trousers seemed a bit askance in some areas with the pulling of the fabric.

NYLON Young Hollywood Party

Pretty young things came out to play at NYLON’s annual Young Hollywood event, celebrating the May issue, on Tuesday (May 2) in LA.

Madeline Brewer: Wrapping herself up in a Natori bustier paired with Halston trousers, Madeline let the origami-obi belt do the work for this ensemble. A black Corto Moltedo clutch seamlessly melded into the look.

Rowan Blanchard: I love young Rowan’s fearless embrace of style, as she took the fanciful artistry of this Elie Saab Pre-Fall 2017 beaded lace dress into fashion-forward territory with her futuristic eyeliner effect and crystal embellishment under her eyes.

Emily Robinson: I have to applaud Emily for at least skipping the ubiquitous sheer lace and exchanging it for sheer latticework in this Shrimps Spring 2017 dress. While I could have given the dress a pass, I don’t understand the golden handbag and metallic heels.
