2010 Cannes Film Festival: “Chongqing Blues” Premiere – Fan Bingbing In Elie Saab Couture

God bless Cannes Film Festival.

Fan Bingbing looked absolutely sensational on the red carpet for the “Chongqing Blues” premiere during Cannes Film Festival last night.

I knew she would look amazing, but I’m totally blown away.

The Asian actress wore a a nude silk mousseline pleated Elie Saab Spring 2009 Couture gown with an embellished bodice.

The back has an expected embroidered detail, which I find utterly divine.

Big hair is obviously a trend on the Cannes red carpet, as Fan’s hair was swept up into high bouffant which was accented with a double braid.

I love Fan for wearing this gown.

I never understood why this collection wasn’t worn more on the red carpet.

Red lips and a sparkling silver clutch which complements her stunning jewels completes this breath-taking look.

2010 Cannes Film Festival: Chopard Trophy Party – Helen Mirren In Elie Saab Couture

Helen Mirren arrived at the Chopard Trophy Party wearing her second Elie Saab gown in 2 days during Cannes Film Festival.

The great Dame was sparkling with Chopard jewels as she walked the red carpet wearing an Elie Saab Couture gown.

Her stunning grey silk georgette gown with an embellished belt and asymmetrical sleeves is from Elie Saab’s Vintage Couture Collection.

Perfection as usual. She continues to fly the flag for over fifty and fabulous.

I adore the colour on her.

If I could be picky I would say the necklace is slightly OTT, but I understand why she wore it on this occasion.

“Robin Hood” Cannes Film Festival After Party – Eva Longoria In Elie Saab

Whilst most stars wore the same dress they wore to the “Robin Hood” premiere to the “Robin Hood” After Party during Cannes Film Festival, Eva decided to change.

It wouldn’t blame her. Who wants to carry around all those ruffles when you’re trying to get your groove on.

She went from her stunning Emilio Pucci show-stopper to gorgeous Elie Saab Spring 2010 mini cocktail dress.

The nude asymmetrical cocktail dress has a structured shoulder and gold embellished details, which she matches with gold ankle strap heels and gold earrings.

With her golden skin-tone the dress really sparkles.

I hope we get more good stuff from Eva this week.

2010 Cannes Film Festival: “Robin Hood” Premiere – Helen Mirren In Elie Saab

When I grow up I wanna be just like Helen Mirren because she’s one of the most elegant women to grace the red carpet.

We all expected Dita von Teese or Olga Kurylenko to be one of the first to wear a look from Elie Saab’s Fall 2010 collection, but Helen beat them to it.

The grand Dame opted for a black jersey asymmetrical one-sleeved gown with embroidered strap.

I love everything about this look from the new bangs, to the draped shoulder, to the rouge lips and the clutch, but I really don’t like those diamond Chopard cuffs.

I understand that she may have wanted something to help dazzle the look, but she would’ve been a perfect 10 without them.

2010 Cannes Film Festival: “Robin Hood” Premiere – Aishwarya Rai In Elie Saab Couture

Thanks to Aishwarya Rai we didn’t have to wait long to see Elie Saab on the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival.

The Indian model/actress glided down the red carpet wearing a stunning blue Elie Saab Spring 2010 Couture gown.

I love the scalloped details all over the gown which was accented by velvet floral buds.

These buds also appear on the chiffon detail which drape off her shoulders.

If I would critique one thing it would be her hair. It had a bit too much volume for my liking.

Other than that she ticks all the boxes and looks absolutely fabulous, which is easy in an Elie Saab gown.

2010 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner – Anna Kendrick In Elie Saab Couture

Unfortunately I couldn’t find one full length picture of Anna Kendrick at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner, but the fact she’s wearing Elie Saab means I have to feature her.

The “Twilight” actress seems to love Elie Saab as much as I do, as she wears a lot of the designers gowns to major events.

If you are thinking I’ve picked the wrong picture from Style.com look at the background.

Anna’s dove grey strapless gown with an embellished detail at the bust and waist was actually worn by one of the bridesmaids holding the train of the bride during Elie Saab’s Spring 2007 Couture presentation.

It’s a simple yet stunningly beautiful gown in which Anna glows.

Rosario Dawson kept her look simple wearing a black strapless Dolce & Gabbana gown.

2010 New York City Ballet Spring Gala – Sarah Jessica Parker In Elie Saab Couture & L’Wren Scott

Sarah Jessica Parker sparked as she walked the red carpet 2010 New York City Ballet Spring Gala last night.

The “Sex And The City” star opted to wear her custom Elie Saab Spring 2010 Couture dress with a L’Wren Scott jacket.

Her Elie Saab Spring 2010 Couture blush toned hand embroidered cocktail dress is a shorten version of the runway gown.

You would be forgiven if you thought this dress was the same one Dakota Fanning wore to “The Runways” premiere earlier this year, but the embroidered details are not the same.

I would’ve loved to have seen this look without the L’Wren Scott taffeta jacket, but I have a feeling I can see a neon yellow bra under SJP’s dress so maybe the jacket saves the day.

Her look is paired with a fabulous pair of Alexander McQueen crystal heart peep toe heels, a crystal embellished Judith Leiber clutch and a stack of bracelets.
