Daily (Celine) Dion’s Street Style Looks

Celine Dion has served up no shortage of street-style looks for us to gaze upon, as she continues to take Paris by storm. While she is normally on her fashion game, a few recent looks have called into question her sartorial judgment—and that trend only continued over this past week with some head-scratching statements in the mix as well as a few standouts to remind us how she does off-duty style best.

July 4: Because the singer is not one to buck a trend, she would not leave the pyjama party to only Gigi Hadid. This Louis Vuitton x Supreme two-piece ensemble was the epitome of luxe loungewear when styled with her embellished shades and stilettos. She did wear the look with supremely effortlessness, even if it will be translated as glorified PJs.

July 5: She brought a bit of Asian persuasion to her next look with this Reem Acra Fall 2017 floral-print dress informed by the silhouette of a geisha robe and an obi sash. I love her choice of the embellished Gucci bag and velvet-green heels to finish the look in smartly high style.

Who Wore Dsquared² Better? Jennifer Hudson or Alesha Dixon?

Jennifer Hudson and Alesha Dixon both wore this Dsquared² marigold dress within a month of each other.

Jennifer lit up the Tiffany & Co. 2017 Blue Book Collection Gala, while Dixon wowed the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ audience.

This is a classic case of how accessories can make or break a look.

Jennifer’s black over embellished pumps were so wrong for this look, while Alesha going for gold – both in her accessories and her makeup – saw her bring home the trophy.

amfAR Paris Dinner 2017

The amfAR Paris Dinner was hosted at the Grand Palais on Sunday (July 2), and it certainly served up an eclectic array of looks.

Cindy Bruna: Statuesque and striking, the French model was a study in sleek simplicity in a Dsquared2 gown that looked to sharp tailoring and a mode of Le Smoking sensibility for inspiration. I love how the belted waist fully celebrated the structured sophistication with de Grisogono jewels adding a touch of sparkle.

Noemie Lenoir: Alternatively, there was no place for minimalism in this French model-actress’s Jean-Paul Gaultier Fall 2016 Couture ensemble. I was delighted to see this look stripped down from its original runway presentation, as the glittery sequin split tunic top and foliage-embossed pants were plenty decorative enough.

Sarah Snyder: Creating her own sexy, mod superheroine vibe out of this Fendi Pre-Fall 2017 high-low dress, Sarah styled the frock with what can only be called fierce Fendi over-the-knee boots that did reflect the red textural fabric on the underside of the skirt. Or, should we call it a cape.

Harper’s Bazaar Summer Party (Fiesta 150 Aniversario de Harper’s Bazaar)

A whole host of fashionable and famous figures descended on Harper’s Bazaar 150th anniversary party at Casa de Velazquez on Wednesday (June 28) in Madrid, Spain.

Raquel Sánchez-Silva: The journalist showcased the cyclical nature of style as she donned a Gucci Spring 2017 gown previously worn by Cate Blanchett back in October. It’s easy to see why the ladies wanted to wear this gown; the gorgeous ruffled shoulders bring to mind petals whilst the red bow belt adds yet more intrigue. I love Raquel’s sleek up-do which allows the look to shine to full effect. However, her choice of clutch cheapens the look.

Paz Vega: Looking incredibly polished and chic, the actress opted for a midnight-blue Dsquared gown featuring an open back dress which gave this ensemble a sophisticated yet seductive vibe.

Nieves Álvarez In Celine, Dsquared2, Silvia Tcherassi & 7 For All Mankind – San Isidro

Nieves Álvarez attended the San Isidro Fair in Madrid, Spain over the weekend.

We may be accustomed to seeing Nieves in scene-stealing red carpet looks, but her street style takes no back seat to fashionable fanfare.

For the Spanish festivities, she first wore a Celine striped shirt with DSquared2 cropped jeans. I loved how the loosely draped cut of the top put a feminine twist on standard shirting. Her accessories really brought the look to life with the pop of a red Louis Vuitton handbag, embellished Elie Saab Spring 2017 sunglasses, and blue Marskinryyppy ankle-wrap heels.

For her second outing, her shoes even more so stole the show, as this Aquazzara pair added a bold splash to the otherwise neutral look. I wasn’t as crazy about the slouchy fit of her Silvia Tcherassi shirt although the asymmetric cold shoulder was a nice touch. White 7 For All Mankind skinny jean, aviator shades, and a Bulgari clutch completed the look.

Alesha Dixon In Dsquared² – Britain’s Got Talent

Before stepping into the hot seat to judge contestant on Britain’s Got Talent’ last night (May 30), Alesha Dixon showcased her look on Instagram.

Known for her experimental style and love for colour, this yellow mini Dsquared² dress was on trend with the gorgeous ruffle and in season with that glorious yellow hue.

Dsquared² are known for their dramatic silhouettes and maximal shapes, yet this bold choice may still be considered as one of their tamer options.

Alesha amped up the look with tribal mask inspired Loewe earrings, Saint Laurent gold pumps and additional jewels from Paula Mendoza.

J’Adore from head-to-toe.
