Fergie In Dsquared² – amfAR Inspiration Gala São Paulo

amfAR returned to Brazil for its third annual Inspiration Gala São Paulo, held at the home of Dinho Diniz. This year the tributes were paid to two honorees: iconic Brazilian athlete Pelé was presented with the Humanitarian Award, and pop star Fergie was presented with the amfAR Award of Inspiration.

The pregnant star collected her award wearing a Dsquared2 tuxedo from the Fall 2013 collection.

I have to say I’m very surprised by her masculine choice; I would’ve loved to have seen her in a gorgeous gown.

Anyway, her satin shawl-collar jacket with satin buttons was styled with a white button-down shirt and accessories from the same Dsquared² Fall 2013 collection.

Despite my wishful thinking, if I had to change one thing about this look, I would hem up the pants an inch or three.

Nieves Alvarez In Blumarine, Andrew Gn, Elie Saab, Vicky Martin Berrocal, Vionnet & DSquared² – Solo Moda

Nieves Alvarez strutted into 2013 with a special New Year’s Eve end-of-season edition of her Solo Moda show.

The Spanish supermodel and TV host has a body for fashion, and she played to the festive occasion in six highly formal and floor-grazing looks.

On Saturday, she debuted a flashy Blumarine Fall 2012 confection pavéd in iridescent studs; it was a modern mermaid moment.

Nieves has flaunted Andrew Gn several times before on her show, but her darkly romantic, three-quarter-sleeve dress from the designer had a moodier vibe.

While the draped Grecian trend has been rather exhausted, Nieves’ goddess look – a nude, long-sleeve Elie Saab Fall 2012 column gown – made her look statuesque. Read more…

2012 KBS Drama Awards

The 2012 KBS Drama Awards took place at the KBS Hall in Seoul, South Korea on Monday.

Park Si-Yeon: The actress kept her look simple and elegant, wearing a Ralph Lauren Fall 2012 black floor-length dress with a sweetheart neckline which she styled with a gold Ralph Lauren ‘Karung’ serpent clutch and a beautiful gold statement necklace. The only change I would make here is to remove the watch.

Kim Nam: The actress also wore black, opting for a gorgeous Roland Mouret ‘Hexam’ draped gown with a delicate lace bodice and artfully draped skirt. She styled her look with silver jewels and a black crocodile clutch, with her hair elegantly swept up to show off that pretty neckline.

Miss A’s Suzy: The girl-band singer also wore black, selecting a Dsquared² Fall 2012 dress. The sexy LBD with an open back and feather peplum was sent down the runway as a gown. Suzy added a touch of sparkle to the look with crystal-embellished gold Louboutin peep-toes.

Brad Goreski In DSquared² – 2012 Miss Universe Pageant

Brad Goreski took to the red carpet at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada last night as one of the judges for the 2012 Miss Universe Pageant.

The stylist wore a DSquared² silver lamé ‘Xmas Tux’ with black satin peaked lapels.

Keeping the look dressy, he added a white shirt, black pants and his signature bow tie.

Adding yet more shimmer-and-shine, with a slight edge to his festive look, he wore studded Louboutin lace-up sneakers.

Nieves Alvarez In Giambattista Valli, Dsquared², Alex Vidal, Christian Dior, Halston Hertiage & Michael Kors – Solo Moda

Here is a quick rundown of Nieves Alvarez’ Solo Moda looks from the weekend.

Her first look was a Giambattista Valli Fall 2012 printed dress with Giuseppe Zanotti two-tone sandals.

Next up was a vibrant pink Dsquared² Resort 2013 dress styled with gold Mango pumps. I wish they were sandals.

An Alex Vidal Fall 2012 LDB and silver Jimmy Choo ‘Private’ sandals rounded up Saturday’s looks.

On Sunday she started with a Christian Dior Fall 2012 purple dress styled with a gorgeous pair of Jimmy Choo gold ankle-strap sandals.

I prefer Nieves’ Roger Vivier bow-accented ankle-strap sandals to her high-neck, long-sleeve Halston Heritage dress.

The final look was a striking Michael Kors Spring 2012 animal-print dress with black Jimmy Choo shoes.

Nieves Alvarez In Zuhair Murad, Carolina Herrera NY, Moschino, Roberto Cavalli, Dsquared² & Ferragamo – Solo Moda

This weekend Nieves Alvarez wore six more looks.

The first was a Zuhair Murad Fall 2012 sequin dress with Gianvito Rossi sandals with a floral accent.

Next up was a chic pink Carolina Herrera NY Fall 2012 dress styled with Jimmy Choo gold crystal sandals.

Her Moschino Fall 2012 tri-colour leather jacket we have seen on Kylie Minogue. The jacket was worn with a Philipp Plein T-shirt and black 7 For All Mankind jeans. Gold metallic Jimmy Choo heels and Aristocrazy heels completed the look.
