Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Alexander Wang: Zoe Kravitz is a huge fan of Alexander Wang, so the question when looking at the collection was ‘What would Zoe wear?’ My choices were somewhat limited due to the amount of colour on display as Zoe loves to wear black, so I settled on this black strappy dress with a flared skirt. I hope she proves me wrong and selects something other than black from this collection.

Altuzarra: Allison Williams is always a goodie two-shoes on the red carpet. I would love to see her in this sexy, slightly undone look to spice up her red carpet game.

Angela Sarafyan In Donna Karan - ‘Paranoia’ LA Premiere

While Amber Heard opted for an overly fussy look on the red carpet at the DGA Theater in Los Angeles, California yesterday evening for the ‘Paranoia’ premiere, Angela Sarafyan went for a more minimalist approach.

The exotic beauty wore a Donna Karan Pre-Fall 2013 white dress with an asymmetrical sculptured neckline and draped detail, which gives her an amazing silhouette considering the column design of the frock.

With those sultry eyes doing most of the talking, she opted for lightweight makeup, adding a Jennifer Fisher cuff and champagne-coloured Edie Parker clutch to her look.

I’m still undecided as to whether she should’ve worn her hair up or not.

Norma Ruiz In Donna Karan Atelier - 'Yo Dona' International Awards 2013

I had a sense of déjà vu upon seeing Norma Ruiz on the red carpet at the ‘Yo Dona’ International Awards 2013 held at Finca La Munoza in Madrid, Spain on Thursday.

She looked stunning in her Donna Karan Atelier ivory jumpsuit with a beautiful beaded bodice draped waist and loose-fit pants, however, you may remember that Morena Baccarin wore the same look, with a similar hairstyle, to the 2013 People’s Choice Awards back in January.

Norma added a grey crystallized Christian Louboutin clutch, which was popular at this event, and jewels by Suraz.

I’m glad Norma had this look tailored so the pants didn’t drag on the floor – red carpet pet peeve.

Bernadette Peters In Donna Karan Atelier - 2013 Tony Awards

Bernadette Peters attended the 2013 Tony Awards held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Sunday evening.

Like Anna Kendrick, she also donned a Donna Karan Atelier strapless gown.

The emerald-green shredded-chiffon mermaid gown was styled with emerald-and-diamond David Webb jewels and a black clutch.

Her signature flame-coloured curly mane was swept up into a chic updo with a few face-framing tendrils.

Do you think the emerald jewels were overkill, or did they perfectly complement her gown?

Anna Kendrick In Donna Karan Atelier - 2013 Tony Awards

Anna Kendrick stunned on the red carpet for the 2013 Tony Awards held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Sunday.

The actress looked gorgeous wearing a black-and-blue Donna Karan Atelier gown.

Her strapless black gown, which featured sheer inserts in the bodice, had a sweeping blue ruffle detail cascading to the hem of the train.

Anna styled her beautiful gown with an Edie Parker clutch and Amrapali jewels, which included a complementary sapphire-stone ring.

A chic updo and smoky eyes completed the look.

Despite this being in a fall hue, I adore the look. It’s a huge sidestep away from the twee dresses we’ve come to expect from Anna. I would go as far as to say this is one of her best looks.
