Naomie Harris In Donna Karan Atelier – ‘Mandela, Long Walk to Freedom’ Johannesburg Premiere

Naomie Harris In Donna Karan Atelier - 'Mandela, Long Walk to Freedom' Johannesburg Premiere

Naomie Harris attended the premiere of ‘Mandela, Long Walk to Freedom’ in Johannesburg on Sunday.

Largely based on his autobiography of the same name, the movie traces the life of the anti-apartheid icon from his childhood in the rural Eastern Cape to his election as the country’s first black president in 1994. Naomie stars as Nelson Mandela’s wife, Winnie Mandela.

Naomie wore a Donna Karan Atelier gown, which was a breathtaking sight to behold.

Her one-shoulder gown of draped white silk-gauze over gold silk-lamé features an exposed underskirt in silk-tulle. Both the necklace and skirt are embellished with antique-gold metal embroidery, which really brings this look alive.

I wish there was a better picture. I was going to say that this look is on a par with the other Donna Karan Atelier gown she wore to the Met Gala this year, but I now think this supersedes it.

Rita Ora In Donna Karan Atelier – Angel Ball 2013

Rita Ora In Donna Karan Atelier - Angel Ball 2013

Rita Ora made a most glamorous entrance on the red carpet for Angel Ball 2013 hosted by the Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City yesterday evening.

The British singer of course applied her favourite red lip colour while causing jaws to drop on the red carpet wearing a Donna Karan Atelier gown.

When it comes to street style she often leaves a lot to be desired, but you can’t fault her when it comes to the big occasions. She really knows how to work a gown.

The devil really is in the detail, as the champagne-coloured bugle beaded gown features a stunning draped neckline with the beadwork filtering out onto the tulle train.

Lorraine Schwartz provided the bling with a Thalé Blanc ‘Talia Fastueux’ clutch in silver python with Swarovski crystals completing her look.

Does this champagne-coloured Donna Atelier gown pop your cork, or does it fall flat?

Ali Larter In Donna Karan – Dream For Future Africa Foundation Inaugural Gala

Ali Larter In Donna Karan - Dream For Future Africa Foundation Inaugural Gala

Ali Larter attended Gelila And Wolfgang Puck’s Dream For Future Africa Foundation Gala at Spago in Beverly Hills, California.

She couldn’t have selected a more fitting look for the occasion, deciding upon this earthy, colour-block halter dress with a sun-baked colour palette of orange and terracotta styled with a studded gold cuff and pearlized Edie Parker clutch instead of the statement necklace we saw on the runway.

Deciding upon blown-out tresses, the look was completed with a delightful shimmering orange lip shade and copper eye makeup to round out this roam-free, effortless look.

Kate Beckinsale In Donna Karan – Elyse Walker’s Pink Party

Kate Beckinsale In Donna Karan - Elyse Walker’s Pink Party

Kate Beckinsale attended Elyse Walker Presents The Pink Party 2013 hosted by Anne Hathaway at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California on Saturday evening.

The British actress looked radiant, wearing a red Donna Karan Resort 2014 draped-dress, opting not to take the name of the event as the dress code for the party.

Sporting her favoured high, wavy ponytail, the big news here for regular readers is that Kate is wearing sandals—yay.

The actress, who usually only wears pumps no matter what she’s wearing, pleasantly surprised me by accessorizing with Casadei black-and-gold strappy sandals along with Pluma bracelets, a black Jimmy Choo ‘Candy’ clutch and Joan Horing earrings.

Jennifer Hudson In Donna Karan – ‘The Inevitable Defeat Of Mister And Pete’ Chicago Film Festival Premiere

Jennifer Hudson In Donna Karan - 'The Inevitable Defeat Of Mister And Pete' Chicago Film Festival Premiere

Jennifer Hudson attended the premiere of her latest movie ‘The Inevitable Defeat Of Mister And Pete’, held during the 2013 Chicago International Film Festival at AMC River Theater in Chicago on Friday evening.

The actress donned a slinky long-sleeved grey Donna Karan Pre-Fall 2013 ruched dress which clung to her gorgeous curves.

Opting to pin the plunging neckline, the actress styled the dress with Saint Laurent black sandals and a selection of both gold and silver jewels, including her gold ‘J Hud’ nameplate necklace.
Curly tresses, smoky cat-eyes and a shimmering pink lip completed her look.

There was a time when Jennifer stuck to just one look; however, her look has developed so much that we are now seeing her going from a printed Peter Pilotto edgy look to this sexy frock without skipping a beat.

Stana Katic In Donna Karan – ‘CBGB’ New York Premiere

Stana Katic In Donna Karan - 'CBGB' New York Premiere

Stana Katic attended the premiere of ‘CBGB: The Movie’ during the CBGB Music & Film Festival 2013 held at Landmark Sunshine Cinema in New York City yesterday evening.

The ‘Castle’ actress, who rarely dares to bare, has had a change of heart recently. She was leggy at the LA screening and busty at the ‘Elysium’ premiere.

On this occasion she bared her abs wearing a Donna Karan Pre-Fall 2013 black ensemble featuring a bustier top and high-waisted A-line skirt with an organza insert and hemline.

With her hair styled into retro, the look has a screen siren vibe, banishing any calls of this look being tacky.

My only wish is that the flick in her hair could’ve been achieved without the bobby pins being so visible.

Kohl-rimmed eyes and nude lips completed her look.

You may remember that Holland Roden wore a similar look, but as a dress.
