Naya Rivera In Donna Karan – The Brian Bowen Smith WILDLIFE Show

Naya Rivera In Donna Karan - The Brian Bowen Smith WILDLIFE Show

Naya Rivera attended the Brian Bowen Smith WILDLIFE show held at the De Re Gallery on Thursday (October 23) in West Hollywood, California.

The actress wore a plum-coloured Donna Karan jersey gown with a plunging neckline styled with gold accessories including a Charlotte Olympia box clutch and Casadei sandals.

Is it me or has she worn this dress before?

I’m getting a very strong case of déjà vu as this style of dress has very much become her go-to red carpet dress of choice.

Chloe Grace Moretz In Donna Karan – 5th Annual PSLA Autumn Party

Chloe Grace Moretz In Donna Karan - 5th annual PSLA Autumn Party

Chloe Grace Moretz attended the fifth annual PSLA Autumn Party benefiting Childrens Institute, Inc. held at 3Labs on Wednesday (October 8) in Culver City, California.

Donna Karan’s Spring 2015 show was one of my personal favourites from New York Fashion Week, so I’m very excited to see the collection on the red carpet so soon.

Chloe paired a shimmering black crop top with a painterly-print pencil skirt which oozes urban-chic appeal.

Keeping the look very simple with black Christian Louboutin ‘Miss Rigidaine’ pumps and neutral makeup, I would’ve loved a touch more colour in her makeup – perhaps an orange or rouge lip.

Lily Aldridge In Sally LaPointe & Donna Karan – US Weekly’s Most Stylish New Yorkers of 2014 Party & Victoria’s Secret Hosts Russell James’ ‘Angel’ Book Launch

Lily Alridge In Sally LaPointe & Donna Karan - US Weekly’s Most Stylish New Yorkers of 2014 Party & Victoria's Secret Hosts Russell James' 'Angel' Book Launch

Lily Aldridge strutted out a fashion double-feature, with two looks for two events on Wednesday (September 10) in New York City. She made appearances at both Us Weekly’s Most Stylish New Yorkers of 2014 party and the Russell James “Angel” book launch, which was hosted by Victoria’s Secret.

Us Weekly: First up, the model selected a Sally LaPointe Fall 2014 black silk wool degrade, pleated bustier dress. On some, this may have been an awkward length. But she carries off the simple, structural statement beautifully, accessorizing with vampy black heels. My favourite part, though, was her fun ‘Lily’ clutch by Edie Parker, which puts some spirited attitude into the look.

Victoria’s Secret: Another party, another LBD. This time, her Donna Karan Pre-Fall 2014 sparkling, embellished gown struck a sexier chord with its sheer overlay detail. She took a similarly straightforward approach to the styling, with hardly any jewels and a kohl-rimmed eye.

Which sultry-sophisticated black dress caught your eye?

Donna Karan Spring 2015 Front Row

Donna Karan Spring 2015 Front Row

Camila Alves and Caitlin FitzGerald were on the front row of the Donna Karan Spring 2015 fashion show, held during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Spring 2015 in New York City on Monday (September 8). The two lovelies couldn’t have been better coordinated in their Donna Karan Fall 2014 dresses.

Camila Alves: Her dark grey, textural frock featured an exploded, geometric grid pattern of cutouts and sensual sheer detailing, which she accessorized with black sandals. Her tresses blended right in to the dress, so an updo would have been preferred here.

Caitlin FitzGerald: Also flaunting the peekaboo look, Caitlin’s black number had a slightly more streamlined silhouette and perhaps a touch more blatant sultry appeal with sheer panels tracing below her hip. Her makeup was barely detectable, but a dress like this almost demands a smoky eye or the pop of a bold lip as the finishing touch. Do you agree?

Best Dressed Of The Week – Lizzy Caplan In Donna Karan Atelier, Emma Stone In Valentino Couture, Allison Williams In Giambattista Valli Couture & Nikolaj Coster-Waldau In Salvatore Ferragamo

Best Dressed Of The Week - Lizzy Caplan In Donna Karan Atelier, Emma Stone In Valentino Couture

It was a week where glamour came back to the red carpet, with the Emmy Awards and the Venice Film Festival, and it’s from those two events that you couldn’t separate your favourites.

Lizzy Caplan swept you away in her Donna Karan Atelier black and white gown and Emma Stone was breathtaking making her return to the red carpet with a new ‘do in Valentino Couture.

I, on the other hand, had narrowed my favourites down to four. After much deliberation I picked Allison Williams in her enchanting Giambattista Valli Couture gown, which may have been too princessey for some, but this look swept me away.

There were many fine gents in suits this week. Mostly all black, so how do you pick them apart?

By the impeccable tailoring, slight detailing – such as contrasting buttons, a pocket square and straight bow tie – and of course devilishly good looks play their part, so up steps Nikolaj Coster-Waldau in Salvatore Ferragamo to collect his prize for the win.

Lizzy Caplan In Donna Karan Atelier – 2014 Emmy Awards

66th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards - Arrivals

Lizzy Caplan hit the red carpet of the 2014 Emmy Awards tonight (August 25) at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles.

The ‘Masters of Sex’ star wore a black and white silk gazar and sheer organza panel Donna Karan Atelier gown with high neck criss-cross straps.

This gown is one of those that you really have to see from every angle to fully appreciate. The unique cut of the bodice and straps looked incredibly striking on Lizzy’s frame, and the surprise white when she turned was a great moment.

Pearl and diamond jewelry, a sleek, low-hanging chignon and smokey eyes finished the look.

This is a big ‘yes’ moment for me on all fronts!
