Best Dressed Of The Week – Emmy Rossum In Donna Karan Atelier

Best Dressed Of The Week - Emmy Rossum In Donna Karan Atelier

I can finally take a breather to announce, not that there was any doubt, that Emmy Rossum was your best dressed last week.

While some questioned the colour and the straps, the rest of us were sold on Emmy’s Donna Karan Atelier gown plus her remarkable presence.

This is the kind of Donna Karan Atelier gown we all long to see more of and more often on the red carpet.

Rita Ora In Donna Karan Atelier – 2015 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Rita Ora In Donna Karan Atelier - 2015 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Rita Ora attended the 2015 Vanity Fair Oscar party held at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday (February 22) in Beverly Hills, California.

Feeling rather thirsty following her performance at the main event, the British songstress wore a side butt revealing gown I was surprised to learn was Donna Karan Atelier.

I like the idea and the style, however, Donna (and Rita) lost me at the mesh part which reveals too much at the back for my liking.

This also gave me a rather strong feeling of déjà vu, taking me back to Jaimie Alexander’s Azzaro ‘Thor’ premiere look.

Diane Kruger In Donna Karan Atelier – 2015 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Diane Kruger In Donna Karan Atelier - 2015 Vanity Fair Party

Diane Kruger also enjoyed an evening at the 2015 Vanity Fair Party at Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday (February 22) in Beverly Hills, California.

The stunning actress wore a unique Donna Karan Atelier jumpsuit featuring an asymmetrical, one-shoulder over-cape.

She paired the look with a whimsical Anya Hindmarch ‘Pencil Case’ clutch, H.Stern jewels and Jimmy Choo ‘Minnie’ sandals.

As usual, Diane has a incomparable understanding of fashion, and wears this hybrid number beautifully.

Her matte red lips, precisely imperfect ponytail and shimmering eyeshadow are elegant and gorgeous.

I am so excited by this look and love that Diane brought it to life.

Emmy Rossum In Donna Karan Atelier – 17th Costume Designers Guild Awards

17th Costume Designers Guild Awards With Presenting Sponsor Lacoste - Green Room

Emmy Rossum blew me away, as per, on the red carpet for the 17th Costume Designers Guild Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Tuesday (February 17) in Beverly Hills, California.

I love Emmy for her supreme elegance, modern fairytale offerings and impeccable presentation. That was all applicable to her breathtaking pale pink Donna Karan Atelier gown.

In a week when I’ve felt starved of glamour following the Goyas, Grammys and BAFTAs last week, the drought is finally over.

This will take pride of place on my BDOTY list, but something tells me that this will be just one of many from the ‘Shameless’ star this year.

This gown deserves a standing ovation, as does those Martin Katz diamond drop earrings.

Adriana Lima In Donna Karan – Victoria’s Secret Valentine’s Day Event

Adriana Lima In Donna Karan - Victoria's Secret Valentine's Day Event

Victoria’s Secret Angel Adriana Lima shared Valentine’s Day picks at the Victoria’s Secret in the Forum Shops at Caesars on Tuesday (February 3) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

With red being synonymous with Valentine’s Day and her promoting underwear, Adriana’s red Donna Karan Spring 2015 crop top and pencil skirt look couldn’t have been more appropriate.

As we know, Adriana doesn’t need to try to be sexy – it oozes from every pore – and this look only heightens that in a very alluring, not try-hard way.

Tri-colour glitter pumps and sleek tresses completed what has to be one of my favourite looks from the VS model.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Emma Stone In Christian Dior Couture, Camila Alves In Donna Karan Atelier & Eddie Redmayne in Prada

BDOTW 2 Feb

Despite you guys not loving the sheer skirt trend, Emma Stone was your favourite this week.

You were blown away by how modern and chic she looked as she opted, once again, to eschew a traditional gown, wearing a Christian Dior Couture look that was a bold take on the tux trend to the SAG Awards.

My favourite without question was Camila Alves in Donna Karan Atelier. Some might say a very predictable choice, but between the colour, the pose and the elegant draping, this look rendered me speechless.

When it came to the guys, the choice was simple and unanimous: Eddie Redmayne in Prada.
