Lizzy Caplan In Donna Karan Atelier – 2015 Met Gala

Lizzy Caplan In Donna Karan Atelier - 2015 Met Gala

Lizzy Caplan was one of the first stars to hit the red carpet of the 2015 Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City tonight (May 4).

In keeping with the night’s ‘China: Through the Looking Glass’ theme, Lizzy wore a Donna Karan Atelier gown with beading, fringe and appliqué detailing.

The pink champagne color of the gown is gorgeous, and I love how the beading and fringe allude to the theme without getting campy. Her Edie Parker box clutch, beaded earrings and ruby cocktail ring are stunning details.

I appreciate the monochromatic elements here–the manicure, the clutch and the gown–but I’m also really glad to see the matte red lip, which, in addition to the high bun, really elevate the complete look to an amazing level.

Elizabeth Banks In Donna Karan – ‘Pitch Perfect 2’ Rome Photocall

Elizabeth Banks In Donna Karan - 'Pitch Perfect 2' Rome Photocall

Elizabeth Banks attended the ‘Pitch Perfect 2’ photocall on Monday (April 27) in Rome, Italy.

Embracing the urban-chic appeal of the Donna Karan Spring 2015 collection, the actress combined a structured bra top with an artsy pencil skirt covered in vibrant black brushstrokes.

With the triangular cutout at the midriff, a trend we likewise saw her wear last week, I did miss the belt from the runway as the final piece to pull the look together.

Her pair of Sophia Webster ‘Mika’ pumps, while not brightly hued, did help make up for it with their polka-dot paneling for an unexpected hit of sassy, mismatched fun.

I’m glad she opted for a bold lip on this occasion, finishing the look with a hot coral colour.

Jane Fonda In Donna Karan – 2015 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner

Jane Fonda In Donna Karan - 2015 White House Correspondents' Association Dinner

Jane Fonda struck a fierce pose at the 2015 White House Corespondents’ Association Dinner last night (April 25) at the Washington Hilton in Washington, DC.

A long-sleeved, sequined black Donna Karan gown boasting a high turtleneck-line of contrasting fabric offers a striking and unique editorial moment for Jane. Typically, when one thinks of a black gown that covers someone this completely, it would be much too matronly and boring, but this dress is anything but with its sparkle and striking lines.

I am never ceased to be amazed by Jane on the red carpet. As a reminder, the icon is 77 years old, and she has more poise and style in her pinkie finger than many women half her age possess from head-to-toe.

Coral cheeks and lips and smudgey navy eyeshadow are fresh and flawless and help Jane own this moment so completely.

As you loving Jane’s look as much as I?

Best Dressed Of The Week – Diane Kruger In Donna Karan Atelier & Rosamund Pike In Givenchy Couture

BDOTW 2 march

Red was the colour of the week as the majority of our favourites donned the colour on Oscar night.

Emma Stone’s 100% record of winning best dressed polls was finally broken by the one and only Diane Kruger, who took our breath away in a crimson Donna Karan Atelier jumpsuit.

After a truly lacklustre awards season, Rosamund Pike finally gave us something to smile about on Oscar night, wearing a stunning Givenchy Couture gown. Had she been an Olympic hurdler, this would’ve been her jumping the final hurdle before crossing the finishing line having knocked over all of the previous hurdles.

With Eddie Redmayne suppressing his love for colour and patterns this awards season, my favourite by far was David Oyelowo for standing out in his bold red Dolce & Gabbana, while you went for the classic elegance of the dashing Chris Pine.
