‘Dioses y Perros’ Malaga Film Festival Premiere

'Dioses y Perros' Malaga Film Festival Premiere

A number of celebrities hit the red carpet for the ‘Dioses y Perros’ premiere held at the Cervantes Theatre on Wednesday (March 25) in Malaga, Spain during Day 5 of the Malaga Film Festival.

Ana de Armas: The actress was almost blown away, wearing an Andrew Gn Spring 2014 white fitted short-sleeved dress featuring a sheer hem. The gold embroidered doves were complemented with gold accessories including Market Place NY jewels, Jimmy Choo heels and a Chanel clutch. You may remember that Hailee Steinfeld wore the black version of this dress to the InStyle Golden Globe party.

Megan Montaner: The actress wore a Dolce & Gabbana one-of-a-kind strapless mermaid gown featuring a lace body and taffeta skirt. A rich red lip colour, complemented with a red satin clutch, along with Aristocrazy jewels were the elegant touches needed to perfect this look.

Alejandra Onieva: Working a part-less slicked-back ‘do, the actress wore an oversized strapless pink-and-black jumpsuit with a snakeskin print. While it might not appear glamorous enough for a premiere, I think she has the right attitude and the perfect styling to pull this look off.

Menswear Roundup

Menswear Tuesday

Here is a quick menswear catch up.

Ty Burrell: The actor attended the VIP screening of ‘The Muppets Most Wanted’ held at The Curzon Mayfair on Monday (March 24) in London, looking very dapper in his Etro three-piece plaid suit styled with a white pocket square and brown monk strap shoes for a very sharp, well-coordinated look. He is my favourite of this trio.

Ian Somerhalder: Joining co-star Nina Dobrev, Ian attended ‘The Vampire Diaries’ PaleyFest event on Saturday (March 22) decked out in a Z Zegna micro-checked grey two-button notched-lapel suit styled with a shirt and satin tie and accented with a purple pocket square. Are brown shoes the new black?

Maxi Iglesias: The actor joined a host of lovely ladies on the red carpet for the ‘Carmena y Amen’ Malaga Film Festival premiere on Saturday (March 22) wearing a Dolce & Gabbana suit with an off-white satin-shawl-lapel blazer, white shirt and black trousers with black Louboutin shoes and a Piaget watch. I’m not sure I’m crazy about the trio of colours here. Actually, it’s just the off-white blazer which is throwing me off.

Fergie In Dolce & Gabbana – Avons International Womens Day 2014

Fergie In Dolce & Gabbana - Avons International Womens Day 2014

Fergie was at the U.S. State Department in Washington, D.C. on Thursday (March 20) in her role as Avon’s Foundation Global Ambassador to announce a new initiative to better protect victims of gender violence.

Dressed to impress, the singer wore a midnight-blue Dolce & Gabbana three-piece pinstriped suit, which wouldn’t look out of place on Wall Street, styled with a light-blue shirt and black silver-toecap Fergie pumps.

Opting for neutral makeup and wavy tresses, only her nail art and a selection of rings hint at her inner rock chick.

17th Malaga Film Festival 2014 Opening Ceremony Red Carpet Roundup

17th Malaga Film Festival 2014 Opening Ceremony Red Carpet Roundup1

Here is a roundup of many more delightful Spanish beauties who graced the red carpet for the opening ceremony of the Malaga Film Festival 2014 held at the Cervantes Theatre on Friday (March 21) in Malaga, Spain.

Leonor Watling: The actress wore a very familiar Dolce & Gabbana design. The dress has had a revamp from the satin version which dominated the red carpet back in 2009, to this sequined version we see before us today. Leonor enlivened the look with a red pout and side-swept locks.

Ruth Nunez: Perhaps one of my favourites on this red carpet, Ruth’s lilac empire-waist gown is so very romantic, season appropriate and ultra-flattering. Minimal styling was the perfect way to honour this gown.

Maria Leon In Dolce & Gabbana – 17th Malaga Film Festival 2014 Opening Ceremony

Maria Leon In Dolce & Gabbana - 17th Malaga Film Festival 2014 Opening Ceremony

Maria Leon also looked lovely while taking to the red carpet for the opening ceremony of the Malaga Film Festival 2014 held at the Cervantes Theatre on Friday (March 21) in Malaga, Spain.

The actress opted for mostly black, including her nails, for her red carpet look, donning a sultry black Dolce & Gabbana strapless lace gown featuring a scalloped neckline, an elegant peplum detail and a fishtail hem.

Dolce & Gabbana lace dresses tend to have a samey feel to them, so I’m delighted that someone selected a style from the Italian duo which we haven’t seen before.

Silver jewels, fuchsia glossy lips and a sparkling pewter Louis Vuitton clutch completed her grand opening-ceremony look.

You may remember that Leslie Mann wore this same gown to the Golden Globe Awards.

Kiernan Shipka In Dolce & Gabbana – PaleyFest 2014 Honouring ‘Mad Men’

Kiernan Shipka In Dolce & Gabbana - PaleyFest 2014 Honouring 'Mad Men'Kiernan Shipka joined Elisabeth Moss at the PaleyFest 2014 honouring ‘Mad Men,’ held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California on Friday (March 21).

After her mature-gladiator move at the ‘Divergent’ premiere earlier this week, the young starlet took a step in return to her more exuberant, youthful style.

Her Dolce & Gabbana almond-hued frock, printed in a scattering of pink blossoms, was a breath of spring air.

Shiny fun, metallic gold ALDO ‘Margetts’ sandals lifted the look, with half-up, half-down waves and a glossy lip also maintaining the fresh spirit.
