Mila Kunis In Dolce & Gabbana – ‘Jupiter Ascending’ LA Premiere

Mila Kunis In Dolce & Gabbana S15 – ‘Jupiter Ascending’ LA Premiere

Mila Kunis made a long-awaited return to the red carpet for the LA premiere of ‘Jupiter Ascending’ held at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Monday (February 2) in Hollywood, California.

She may have been away for a long while, but it appears not much has really changed.

The actress wore a black Dolce & Gabbana bustier strapless frock styled with Christian Louboutin ‘Tiny’ lace sandals and Gemfields jewels.

The dress, beautiful as it is, is very déjà vu as we’ve seen many version of this same style from Dolce & Gabbana several times before. The colour is typically black as that has pretty much been her go-to colour for a long while.

While this look should be applauded, I have a ‘been there done that, next’ feeling about it.

Jenny Slate In Dolce & Gabbana - Virtuoso Awards 30th Santa Barbara International Film Festival

Jenny Slate attended the Virtuoso Awards during the 30th Santa Barbara International Film Festival held at the Arlington Theater on Sunday (February 1) in Santa Barbara, California.

The actress bloomed wearing a Dolce & Gabbana dress rendered in the Italian brand’s signature fitted silhouette with a flared hem ramping up the girliness.

Styled with Shylee Rose jewels and PVC Christian Louboutin ‘Justinodo’ sandals with a gold bow detail, this look has me yearning for springtime.

America Ferrera In Dolce & Gabbana – 2015 Producers Guild Awards

America Ferrera In Dolce & Gabbana - 2015 Producers Guild Awards

America Ferrera attended the 2015 Producers Guild Awards held at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza on Saturday (January 24) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress may not be serving up any surprises wearing a black lace Dolce & Gabbana frock, but this classic dress, framed by scalloped fringe at the neckline and hem, is elevated thanks to the smattering of crystal embellishments.

Brian Atwood black satin pumps and Kwiat jewels rounded out this predictable look.

2015 SAG Awards Menswear Roundup

Men SAG 1

We’ve seen all the ladies, so here is a quick roundup of some of the other attendees of the 2015 SAG Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday (January 25) in Los Angeles, California.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau: Looking ever so handsome, the ‘Game of Thrones’ actor wore a Salvatore Ferragamo three-piece black tuxedo, white tuxedo shirt and black satin bow tie.

Eddie Redmayne: The award-winning British actor never has an off day. Last night he looked very dapper wearing a double-breasted Prada suit with shiny patent-leather shoes.

Matthew McConaughey: Keeping up his snazzy blazer run from last awards season, the actor wore a Brioni suit with a blue sheen blazer, which certainty stood out in a sea of black tuxedos. The look was styled with Tod’s shoes.

The DAILY FRONT ROW ‘Fashion Los Angeles Awards’ Red Carpet Roundup

The DAILY FRONT ROW Fashion Los Angeles Awards

Here is a quick roundup from The DAILY FRONT ROW ‘Fashion Los Angeles Awards’ Show held at Sunset Tower on Thursday (January 22) in West Hollywood, California.

Kerry Washington: The ‘Scandal’ star wore a black, white and grey look that was distinctly lacking in flavour. Let’s pray this lull doesn’t continue much longer as her usual three-pointers are turning into air balls.

Gigi Hadid: Presented with the Model of the Year award, the blonde beauty kept her look simple wearing a watermelon-hued one-shoulder Calvin Klein fitted dress, which hugged in all the right places.

Minka Kelly: The actress, who usually works minimalist looks in simple silhouettes, donned a Herve Leger multicoloured textural flared frock with studded details. Sadly, for me this doesn’t work. It’s not really suited to her style and it’s giving her quarterback shoulders.

2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards Menswear Roundup

2015 Critics' Choice Movie Awards Menswear Roundup

Here’s a quick roundup of the men who took to the red carpet for the 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday (January 15) in Los Angeles, California.

Eddie Redmayne: Giving just that little bit extra, which always sees him standing above his peers, the actor opted for a sharp Valentino shawl-collar tuxedo in his favoured slim-fit silhouette.

Jared Leto: Following the Globes, I was worried he had lost his mojo, but here he’s bursting with flavour. Standing out wearing a bright blue Costume National blazer accented with a pink carnation, you have to admire his courage in always doing something different. Thankfully opting for black trousers instead of going full blue, he did match his blazer to his sock with an extra kick coming from his Swarovski-embellished Louis Leeman loafers. On this occasion he swapped his man-braid for a man-bun.

Ethan Hawke: Yet to wear a black suit this awards season, the ‘Boyhood’ actor also stood out, donning a Lanvin light grey suit with black velvet piping. These top three will most definitely keep menswear interesting this awards season.
