Yo Dona Awards 2015 Red Carpet Roundup

Yo Dona Awards 2015 Red Carpet Roundup

A host of actresses joined Nieves Alvarez on the red carpet for the Yo Dona Awards on Wednesday (June 24) in Madrid, Spain.

Megan Montaner: I was blown away by her Andrew Gn embellished mosaic jacquard gown from the Pre-Fall 2015 collection. Not only because it signals the end of the colour and print drought on the red carpet this summer, but also because I’m in awe of how one so petite can totally own this gown.

Celia Freijeiro: This Naeem Khan Fall 2015 sparkling number was one of the stand out looks at this event. However, a part of me believes that she should’ve opted for silver Jimmy Choo’s. The gold option isn’t quite working for me.

Amber Heard In Dolce & Gabbana – The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Amber Heard In Dolce & Gabbana - The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Amber Heard has been busy promoting her latest movie ‘Magic Mike XXL’ by making a guest appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ on Monday (June 22).

I was not surprised to see the actress don an LBD from Dolce & Gabbana.

Black has very much been her colour of choice lately, but I’m delighted to see her serve it up in the form of a figure-hugging dress on this occasion rather than another suit.

I love how the floral lace design imbued with the brands signature romance is finished with elegant fluted skirt, but it’s the Christian Louboutin ‘Gwalior’ pointy-toe pumps which steal the spotlight here.

Emilia Clarke In Dolce & Gabbana – Kiss FM

Emilia Clarke In Dolce & Gabbana - Kiss FM

Emilia Clarke paid a visit to Kiss FM on Thursday (June 18) in London, England to promote her latest movie, ‘Terminator Genisys’.

The British actress, who has been spotted hobbling around on crutches lately, wore a Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2015 powder-blue dress that featured child-like illustrations and the Italian words, “Tu la mamma piu bella del mondo,” which roughly translates to “You are the most beautiful mother in the world.”

Hopefully this won’t start pregnancy rumours as this collection was all about celebrating mothers.

With the illustration being the focus, the actress didn’t add any accessories to her chic look.

Zoe Saldana In Dolce & Gabbana – Spike TV’s Guys Choice 2015

Zoe Saldana In Dolce & Gabbana - Spike TV’s Guys Choice 2015

Zoe Saldana attended Spike TV’s ‘Guys Choice 2015’ held at Sony Pictures Studios on Saturday (June 6) in Culver City, California.

The actress wore a striking Dolce & Gabbana emerald jacquard dress with intricate black leather floral applique.

The jewel-toned colour was breathtaking on Zoe, although the look was in distinct need of a sleek updo to go with that lovely magenta lip.

A light smattering of Jennifer Meyer jewels and Kurt Geiger London ‘Chelsea’ black sandals were all that was needed to finish the decorative dress.

2015 Glamour Woman of the Year Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Glamour Woman of The Year Awards

There were many more lovely ladies besides Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Kate Hudson and Kerry Washington who attended the 2015 Glamour Woman of the Year Awards at Berkeley Square Gardens on Tuesday (June 2) in London, England.

Gemma Chan: The British actress served up visual splendour wearing an Mary Katrantzou’s intricately printed ‘Cassandra’ dress. I’m glad she kept the spirit of this look alive with a moss-green clutch.

Gillian Anderson: There was a distinct lack of drama at this event, so up stepped Gillian Anderson wearing a nude caped gown by Australian couturier Paolo Sebastian. Some might find this a touch dated, but I’m too busy diverting my eyes away from the upper mid section.

Louise Redknapp: The British presenter usually finds herself at near the top of the my best dressed list, but that wasn’t to be the case on this occasion. While I loved the gorgeous cobalt-blue hue and her breakaway from the expected, this Proenza Schouler basket weave fringe dress fails to flatter, plus her pumps were really dull. The only plus side was the complementary Bottega Veneta clutch.
