Jai Courtney In Giorgio Armani & Bruce Willis In Dior Homme - 'A Good Day to Die Hard' London Premiere

The on-screen father and son duo was at it again, this time at the London premiere of ‘A Good Day to Die Hard’ on cold and wet Thursday evening. And once again Jai Courtney proved he can dress with the best. Bruce, on the other hand, decided to go casual.

Jai Courtney: To follow up from his amazing Ermenegildo Zegna blue suit last week, Jai switched to a Giorgio Armani grey three-piece suit. He looked well put together with his notch lapel jacket, bold-buttoned waistcoat, and black shoes. The classic white pocket square and burgundy tie gave the outfit more pop, in a good way.

Bruce Willis: For the ‘Die Hard’ dedication event, Bruce wore a poorly tailored Dior Homme suit with a skinny tie. For this premiere he stuck with Dior Homme, lost the tie, and wore pants that fit him much better. Sometimes less is more. Bruce dressed down, sporting a light gray checkered shirt under his black notch lapel jacket, and looked great doing so.

Their action flick, which is set in Russia, will be released in theaters on Valentine’s Day.

Bruce Willis In Dior Homme & Jia Courtney In Ermenegildo Zenga - 'A Good Day to Die Hard' Event

To celebrate 25 years of ‘Die Hard’ franchise, Bruce Willis, along with ‘A Good Day to Die Hard’ costar, Jai Courtney, attended a dedication event in Century City California on Thursday.

Bruce Willis: The face of the ‘Die Hard’ franchise donned a Dior Homme grey wool suit with peak lapels, matched with a silver skinny tie. Unfortunately for Willis, his skinny tie looks extra skinny next to his forward-point collar, and his pants were made for someone four inches taller.

Jai Courtney: His co-star on the other hand, looks exquisite in a perfectly-tailored Ermenegildo Zegna blue suit, paired with caramel-coloured shoes, a pocket square and an English spread collar shirt. Plus, his pindot tie adds some welcomed pattern to an eye-catching ensemble.

The two action stars can be seen taking up their roles as John McClane and John McClane Jr., respectively, in the franchise’s fifth installment, which will be released in theaters on Valentine’s Day.

2013 SAG Awards Menswear Round UpWith gowns galore parading down awards-gala red carpets, it’s always hard to focus on the tuxes—no matter how handsome they and their inhabitants are. But at the 2013 SAG Awards, hosted last night at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California, the men had their moment. Like many of the girls, some of the guys played with color—albeit to mixed success. But it all made for a far more entertaining and colorful show.

Eddie Redmayne: The ‘Les Miserables’ star continues to deliver great red-carpet performances. The British actor carried off a slimly tailored tuxedo by BOSS Black, rendered in a luxe brown, crushed velvet. He paired it with a white shirt and matching dress shoes from the label. In a sea of black and blue, this delicious chocolate color was a smooth statement—so was Eddie’s cool-boy coif.

Bradley Cooper: The ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ actor and nominee chose Tom Ford for his big night. The midnight navy color of his single-breasted tux, featuring a black satin shawl collar, reminded me of some of the similarly colored gowns seen last night, such as the one from Jennifer Lawrence. I wish his black bow tie didn’t appear crooked, throwing the polish of this look awry.

Cory Monteith: This ‘Glee’ cutie stepped outside the norm with his Calvin Klein tuxedo paired with a sleek set of black Christian Louboutin loafers. His cufflinks and tie bar were by Ox and Bull Trading Co. and his timepiece from Versace. The exaggerated peak lapel in black contrasted sharply with the light heather grey of the single-breasted jacket. But was Cory red-carpet-royalty or just prom-king ready?

People Choice Awards Mens

While the girls had the most glamorous fun at yesterday evening’s 2013 People’s Choice Awards hosted at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in California, the guys brought some serious style—and hunk factor—to the red carpet, too.

Eddie Redmayne: The ‘Les Miserables; actor still proved he was worthy to be part of our Best Ensemble Cast of 2012 with his slimline tan suit, black vest and burgundy satin pocket square. Not only was it nice to see the British actor working a colored suit, he played up his cool-boy charm with his hands-in-the-pocket pose and a tie-less shirt with the top button open.

Matt Bomer: It was 50 shades of navy for ‘White Collar’s’ handsome star, as he went for a more traditional approach with his dark inky tuxedo paired up with a lighter tie and pocket square and a blue-and-white microprint shirt. The look actually worked perfectly for Matt, especially with his own set of icy baby blues.

Liam Hemsworth: In perhaps the boldest male moment of the night, Miley Cyrus’s fiancé took a risk with his Ermenegildo Zegna burgundy suit, which he matched back to a shiny black tie and button-down shirt and a glossy patent loafer. But his verve paid off, delivering a dapper red-carpet look that was both polished and style-forward. It helped that his jacket and pants were perfectly tailored. Read more…
