Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Fan Bingbing attended the sixth star ceremony in China this week.

The actress wore a D&G Fall 2011 dress.

We’re so used to seeing Fan wearing couture gowns that it’s a bit of a shock to the system to see her wearing something so relaxed and loose-fitting.

Her other extreme is quirky, so it’s refreshing that she’s found this middle ground.

The alphabet print maxi dress with a neck-tie was styled with a braided up do and neutral makeup.

D&G Spring 2012

Yesterday I attended my first and final D&G presentation. Sadly, this Spring 2012 collection will be the last D&G collection as the designers will be focusing on strengthening and expanding their signature line.

Dolce & Gabbana’s kid sister went out with a bang.

Bold, contrasting prints dominated the runway of this glamorous, feminine collection which is the most colourful, eclectic and fun presentation I’ve seen this Fashion Week.

The only solid pieces are a white shirt, two knit sweaters and a denim pant suit.

The silhouettes ranged from flowy dresses of various lengths with handkerchief hemlines, to ultra-short fitted mini dresses, which I’m placing bets on Fergie being the first to wear on the red carpet.

We also saw sexy shorts, bloomers, cropped tops, printed pants, tunics and a finale of maxi dresses.

The fabulous, eclectic prints with nods to the 90s were teamed with satin print wedges and gold gladiator flats.

Other key accessories included oversized straw hats, which I immediately pictured on Kimora Lee Simmons, charm bracelets, satin print wedges, minaudières, fold-over clutches, tassel-accent quilted bags and lots of ghetto gold jewellery.

Favourites: Paisley print top with floral print shorts and printed shirt and matching pants

Who I See Wearing This Collection: Fergie, Kimora Lee Simmons, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Kelly Rowland, Jessie J and Shingai Shoniwa

Katy B won a Barclaycard Mercury Prize Award at the lavish ceremony held at the Grosvenor House in London tonight.

The quirky singer wore a D&G Fall 2011 long sleeve fitted dress.

Her fun alphabet dress was teamed with a red D&G cross-body bag and red D&G pumps, which weren’t a patch on her bright red hair.

Oversized hooped earrings completed her look.

Pixie Lott was one of many celebs who enjoyed V Festival this weekend in Chelmsford, England.

The British singer wore a D&G Pre-Fall 2011 playsuit.

Her long sleeve daisy print look with bloomer-style shorts was perfectly coordinated with daisy print face paint.

Pixie usually goes for a typical boho vibe at festivals, but on this occasion her look was far from it whilst still being fun and event appropriate.

Her accessories were a mixture of designer and high street.

Out go the Hunter wellies for gold glitter Office brogues and a fringed bag is replace with a DG Mini Miss Sicily bag.

I really glad to see her do something different.

Laura Haddock looked like a Hollywood movie star on the red carpet for the World Premiere of “The Inbetweeners Movie” in London yesterday.

The blonde beauty opted to wear a D&G black sheer off-the-shoulder floor-sweeping gown.

Her gown had pleated details and a ruffled trim on the skirt which made the overall look more interesting.

Opting for shimmering eye make-up the actress wore her hair up in a simple ponytail with a parted fringe.

A black bag with the pearl strap wrapped around her wrist and an oversized ring completed her look.

Is anyone else getting a blonde Angelina Jolie vibe from Laura?
