Laura Linney In Derek Lam – 2017 Tony Awards

‘The Little Foxes’ actress Laura Linney brought summery vibes to the red carpet at the 2017 Tony Awards on Sunday (June 11) in New York City.

Her custom Derek Lam gown hugged her in all the right places with the orange belt creating a beautiful silhouette.

This smile-inducing number took cues from the season and combined a patchwork of oranges, yellows, soft greens, and whites.

I would have like to have seen Laura adopt a more carefree approach to her hairstyling and her accessory choices. These might have brought some more cohesion to this celebratory look.

16th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball Red Carpet Roundup

While Zendaya channeled retro elegance for the 16th annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball on Saturday (June 3) in Brentwood, California, the other stars in attendance chose their own distinct routes of glamour for the occasion.

Jaime King: For Jaime, that meant an embellished Miu Miu Resort 2017 midi dress that took cues from the ’90s rave scene in its smattering of crystals and its printed feather motif. Styled with equally crystallized shoes, this ensemble would make any magpie jealous. I actually loved the free-wheeling sense of energy the look brought to the purple carpet that it ironically matched.

Halle Berry: Halle had plenty of glitz in her Gosia Baczyńska Spring 2017 sequined dress and metallic Yeon coat, which shone an even brighter light on her bump that she showed no shyness in flaunting. Yet, as tends to be the case with Halle’s looks lately, the overall effect was quite dated. Removing the jacket and the sheer turtleneck piece from the dress—plus a sleeker ‘do—would have been a step in the right direction. Jewels from Eva Fehren, Ileana Makri and Sylva & Cie completed her look.

Rebecca Gayheart: Inspired by the Grecian goddess look that used to be so prevalent, Rebecca wore a draped white Derek Lam Fall 2010 gown.

Priyanka Chopra In Roberto Cavalli, Ralph Lauren & Derek Lam – ‘Baywatch’ Promotion

Priyanka Chopra had busy Monday (May 22) in New York City making the rounds promoting her new movie ‘Baywatch’.

Good Morning America: This was by far my favourite look of the three. And it’s the soft, supple lavender Derek Lam Fall 2017 skirt which is the hero piece here with everything else, including the white Alexandre Birman ‘Clarita’ bow sandals falling into place. What a beautiful way to start the morning.

Sirius XM Radio: Great dresses weren’t made for radio, so thankfully there was a red carpet for Priyanka to showcase her gorgeous Ralph Lauren Pre-Fall 2017 leather dress. I love how the booties temper the prissy bow and seductive keyhole.

‘Baywatch’ Screening: I was really surprised with this look. None of it works together. The white choker is totally random, as is the khaki blazer with the Roberto Cavalli sequin dress. What a head scratcher.

Brie Larson In Derek Lam – ‘Kong: Skull Island’ Mexico City Premiere

Brie Larson appeared to take her foot off the gas for the premiere of ‘Kong: Skull Island’ in Mexico City on Saturday (March 4).

The actress wore a pretty uneventful custom Derek Lam embellished dress; keeping the styling simple with black pumps and loose waves.

After an impeccable awards season this year, I think we can all agree that we were expecting more. A lot more.

What happened to the Brie who kept our jaws dropping just a few days ago?

Alison Brie In Derek Lam – ‘Sleeping With Other People’ LA Screening

Alison Brie In Derek Lam - 'Sleeping With Other People' LA Screening

Alison Brie attended a screening of ‘Sleeping With Other People’ on Tuesday (August 25) in West Hollywood, California.

The actress wore an elegant Derek Lam Resort 2016 look featuring a dainty blouse with a flounce skirt; which alongside her Christian Louboutin tri-colour ‘True-blue’ sandals add just the right amount of personality to this look.

The only thing I would remove to perfect this look is that front zipper.
