You have to admire Rinko Kikuchi, as she always keeps things interesting on the red carpet.

The actress opted for a head-to-toe Sophia Kokosalaki Fall 2009 runway look which is ever so slightly modified.

The gold strappy dress with a black skirt, is gathered and embellished with silver panels.

What I love most about this look are Rinko boots.

She looks like a warrior, on her way to battle.

A much as I love Zoe Saldana and her Giambattista Valli Spring 2010 orange floaty mini dress, it doesn’t feel quite grand enough for a Film Festival opening ceremony.

Her previous look would at the “Avatar” stage greeting would have been preferred.

The shoes are also killing me.*yikes*

Sigourney Weaver has the tendency to drop some stink bombs on the red carpet, but she comes up smelling of roses on this occasion wearing a petrol blue satin off-the-shoulder gown.

Japanese actresses Tae Kimura, Ryoko Hirosue and Miki Nakatani walked the red carpet together, each wearing red dresses in various styles, shades and textures.

Ryoko in the middle opted for a strapless silk chiffon Derek Lam dress with frayed ruffles at the ruched bodice, which she paired with champagne coloured heels.

Tae’s red strappy gown is very elegant in it’s simplicity, and Miki strapless velvet gown is divine.

I always wondered that if this Chloe Fall 2009 halter nude dress was worn on the red carpet, if the wearer would be tempted to belt it.

Japanese actress Rie Miyazawa didn’t, she kept the dress loose and floaty.

I love the ruffled collar on this dress.

At this point Sienna Miller could wear a bin liner and I would find something positive to say.  She really is on top of her game.

Yesterday was a very busy day in New York for the actress, as she was out and about promoting her movie “GI Joe”.  With each stop came a new look.

I’m not sure which order they took but her Peter Pilotto Fall 2009 dress which has been modified from the runway was my favourite look.

I love the marble print and the Isabel Marant booties she paired with the dress for her appearance on “106 and Park” at BET’s Studios.

On her way to appear on “The Early Show” Sienna looked gorgeous wearing a summery Diane von Furstenberg Resort 2010 floral printed dress and two-tone T-bar heels, whilst carrying her favourite YSL ‘Besace’ grey messenger bag.

For her appearance on the “Live with Regis and Kelly” the actress wore a Derek Lam Fall 2009 look including a sequined sleeveless top, gathered skirt and with gold gladiator heels.

Leaving her hotel Sienna was spotted wearing an ivory top, with black woven pants, and another favourite look was her raspberry ruffled plunge-neck dress worn with Chloé bow embellished sandals.

Which one was your favourite look?

Love her or hate her, Rihanna has surely been interesting to watch this week, as she donned another runway look.

She was spotted leaving her hotel in New York last night, to attend Derek Lam’s boutique opening party.

This time she wore an animal print blouse, with a white Derek Lam Spring 2009 crisp white suit, which had tapered pants.

Her look was complete with a pair of bronze Christian Louboutin Rolando platform pumps, a long gold necklace, and a black and white clutch.

This time she’s lot less “I am fashion”, and lot more chic, but she has to do something with that hair.

Rachel Weisz – who is rumoured to be Catwoman in the next Batman movie – arrived on the red carpet for the LA premiere of The Wrestler, as you would expect – looking effortlessly beautiful.

She was not wearing her favourite designer Narciso Rodríguez, but a gorgeous blue sequined Derek Lam Spring 2009 long sleeved dress, with swirling lines and a contrast paillettes detail cascading down the front.

The British actress completed her look with black pumps and a black clutch.

I would have loved a nice sparkly strappy sandal with dress, but she still looks great.

Model Anja Rubik is on fire as always.
