Kara Tointon In Dennis Basso - British Academy Television Awards 2013

Kara Tointon joined Sienna Miller on the red carpet at the Royal Festival Hall in London on Sunday evening for the British Academy Television Awards 2013.

The former Eastenders actress, who reinvented herself as a West End girl, looked very graceful wearing a Dennis Basso Spring 2013 gown.

Her strapless gown with embroidered details also features asymmetrical fringed accents applied randomly on the skirt.

The fringed details do not work for me. They overwork a fairly simple look and the applications just don’t make any sense.

A 40s updo, onyx earrings and flawless makeup completed her look.

Coco Rocha In Dennis Basso – 5th Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic

Coco Rocha was in Jersey City on Saturday afternoon for the 5th Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic.

The model, who just wrapped a photo shoot with Bernard Hunt for the Dennis Basso Fall 2012 ad campaign, wore a summery dress by the designer.

Her Dennis Basso Spring 2012 nude dress with a (deflated) petal skirt is decorated with silver embellishments on the bodice.

Once again, the supermodel lets herself down with some questionable footwear.

Whilst appropriate for treading the divots at half-time, these caramel pumps don’t work with her nude dress.

I’m also not a fan of the dark lip, even if it is this summer’s hottest beauty trend right now.

Natalie Cole In Dennis Basso – Silver Hill Hospital 80th Anniversary Gala

It’s always a pleasure to see a real diva on the red carpet.

Natalie Cole looked beautiful as she arrived at the Silver Hill Hospital 80th Anniversary Gala in New York City as the Mistress of Ceremonies.

The Gala raised over $1.2 million, which will go to provide financial assistance for adolescents and young adults who desperately need residential treatment but are without adequate resources to cover the costs.

Natalie was radiant on the red carpet wearing a Dennis Basso gown.

Her blacked beaded and tulle gown with Swarovski crystals has the same texture as Look 35 from the Fall 2010 collection.

She added a fur stole, a satin sash tied to the waist and dazzling earrings to compete her look.

Runway To Dennis Basso Fall 2010 Ad Campaign Shoot – Naomi Campbell In Dennis Basso

Naomi Campbell is currently in New York on what appears to be the shoot for the Dennis Basso Fall 2010 ad campaign.

How did I come to that conclusion?

Well Naomi is wearing several pieces from Dennis Basso Fall 2010 collection, the man himself was also on set plus Naomi appeared in the last ad campaign.

The setting for the shoot was a gas station in the Meatpacking District with a Mercedes Benz on set.

The collection had a dark green, gunmetal grey and black colour palette, but here we see Naomi wearing a vibrant purple Dennis Basso ruffled Fall 2010 rise and fall hem dress with a sheer yoke.

Her pumps are from the same collection.

Wearing a green tank top and a black pencil skirt, Naomi stares fiercely down the lens of the camera with a Dennis Basso Fall 2010 fur coat wrapped around her.

Love her or hate her she still knows how to work it.

Just look at the photo of her in that bikini. Werk it girl *snaps fingers*

I was very sad to see years of wearing hair extensions have taken it’s toll on Naomi’s hairline.

Girlfriend must have been dying in that fur.

Wasn’t it like 90 degrees in NY yesterday?

Dennis Basso Fall 2010

Security was tight at Dennis Basso’s Fall 2010 presentation. People had to be checked in twice and some even had their bags searched.

It was quite clear that the PRs didn’t want a PETA ambush at this presentation.

The reason was because Dennis Basso presented chinchillas coats, fox furs and an alligator military jacket trimmed with fur.

There was just as much fur on the runway as there was in the front row, with Anna Wintour and Andre Leon Talley both wearing fur, as well as Basso’s clientèle.

It wasn’t all about the furs. We saw luxurious silk gowns, cute plunging LBDs, sheath dresses, sheer blouses and leather trimmed pants.

This is the only presentation I’ve attended in which the designer received a standing ovation.

Ruthie Davis provided the footwear for this presentation. I was in lust with the crystal and silver metal spiked heels that stormed the runway.

Runway To “Thurgood Marshall College Fund Fashion Show” – Naomi Campbell In Dennis Basso

Remember a time when Naomi Campbell starred in a PETA ad proclaiming she’d rather go naked than wear fur?

Well that was 15 years ago, and whilst the supermodel still looks as stunning as ever her stance on fur has changed, because she happily wore a fur trimmed coat to the “Thurgood Marshall College Fund Fashion Show” in New York this weekend.

Under her coat Naomi wore a black fitted Dolce & Gabbana dress with square toed Alexander McQueen black heels.

The supermodels change of heart may have come about after being named as face Dennis Basso’s furs.

In the campaign the model wears a series of luxurious coats made from Russian sable.

These coats sell for up to £126,750 each, so imagine what her fee was.
