28th Annual Environmental Media Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Black was the colour of choice at the 28th Annual Environmental Media Awards on Tuesday (May 22) in Beverly Hills, California. Celebrities joined Leona Lewis and Jordana Brewster.

Madelaine Petsch: The ‘Riverdale’ actress’s David Koma Spring 2018 look had a gravity-defying effect with its dramatic skirt. It gave the appearance like it was frozen in motion. The asymmetrical neckline and Stuart Weitzman sandals played off the lines in the skirt.

Jenna Dewan: The ‘World of Dance’ star’s Monique Lhuillier look had the ruffles as accents on the sleeves. They added a girly finish to the sleek black jumpsuit with the cutout bringing sensuality. Giuseppe Zanotti sandals tied in the sparkling trim for a unified finish.

Emmanuelle Chriqui: She had the sleekest look of them all with her Cinq à Sept Pre-Fall 2018 outfit. The floral embroidery pops against the inky fabric and shapes the figure in a flattering way. Her accessories lent a glamorous finish and were an easier sell than the ankle boots from the lookbook.

Jenna Dewan In Zuhair Murad – 2018 Billboard Music Awards

Mila Kunis wasn’t the only one sporting a new hair style at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday (May 20) in Las Vegas, Nevada, Jenna Dewan was too.

The ‘World of Dance’ host was in full bombshell mode walking the red carpet wearing a Zuhair Murad Spring 2018 leather dress.

A mini dress isn’t outside the norm for Jenna, but the construction of the fringing accented with studded and grommet detailing certainly sees her channel her inner diva, while keeping the appeal youthful and effortlessly sensual.

Mila Kunis In David Koma – 2018 Billboard Music Awards

I was thankful for the name tags on Getty, otherwise I may not have recognised Mila Kunis at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday (May 20) in Las Vegas, Nevada, as she was sporting a new hair ‘do.

The actress was in favoured black, but this David Koma Fall 2017 look had a bit more bite than usual, with the mirrored detailing adding some rock chick flare.

Would metallic sandals taken this up a notch?

Yes. But since this is look sees Mila take a huge leap outside her no-fuss zone, I’ll take it.

2018 NBCUniversal Upfront Presentation

The 2018 NBCUniversal Upfront presentation took place at the Rockefeller Center on Monday (May 14) in New York City, with a mixture of sexy, summery and chic styles.

Jenna Dewan: The ‘World of Dance’ host served up no surprises with her sparkling mini from her favoured designer, David Koma. Taking some styling inspo from the runway, and not Kendall Jenner (I will eventually let that go), Jenna added a bra rather than line the sheer bodice or go commando.

Christina Hendricks: Spring has finally sprung for Christina who tends to favour all black looks. The actress worked a wrap silhouette, detailed with stripes, flowers and frilled trims for a cutesy, kitsch finish, but it’s the Charlotte Olympia ‘I Carried A Watermelon embellished satin clutch which is the real star of the show here. I’m sure some might be put off by the twins. But she can either hide them, or celebrate them. I happy she’s gone for the latter.

Mandy Moore: The one person who you expected to wear colour at this event was Mandy Moore. Instead she went simple and chic in Altuzarra’s ‘Maxine’ dress from the Fall 2018 collection.

Jennifer Lopez In David Koma & Valentino – The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon & The Today Show

Fresh from the 2018 Met Gala on Monday, Jennifer Lopez swung by ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ and ‘The Today Show’ on Wednesday (May 9) in New York City, as she promotes ‘World of Dance.’

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon: With her sleek bob still in tow, she didn’t let the dangerously high slit of this David Koma Spring 2018 hot-to-trot dress get in the way of her ’70s dance-off with Jimmy. Giuseppe Zanotti ‘G Heel’ sandals powered her every move for what turned into quite the modern disco queen moment.

Jennifer Lopez In David Koma & Giannina Azar – 2018 Billboard Latin Music Awards

That JLO glow was in dazzling effect as Jennifer Lopez took to the red carpet for the 2018 Billboard Latin Music Awards on Thursday (April 26) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

While fans would’ve expected the singer to wow in a formal, floor-grazing gown (much like she did at the Time 100 Gala), the ‘Booty’ singer amped up that Las Vegas heat in a sequined, lilac, long-sleeve mini from David Koma’s Fall 2018 collection.

I’m sure you are thinking the same thing I’m thinking.

Thank god she didn’t wear those velvet boots. The icon is smoking hot as it it.

Instead she styled the look with a matching Judith Leiber clutch, open-toe Jimmy Choo ‘Max’ platforms and bling courtesy of Lorraine Schwartz.

I’m sure JLo’s super-straight extensions – which were longer than the hem of the dress – didn’t go unnoticed by you.

Thoughts on this new trend?

Alesha Dixon In David Koma – ‘Lightning Girl’ Book Launch

Alesha Dixon feted the ‘Lightning Girl’ book launch at the Science Museum on Thursday (April 5) in London, England.

The ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judge made an electric statement in David Koma.

Most would have paired the shocking pink pants with a neutral or a coordinating pastel, but she injected more zest into the ensemble with the ruched chartreuse top.

Some might deem the combination to be too lurid, but with the sleek silhouettes, I find it a bold, joyful mix.

Phine jewels added more punch.
