Maria Sharapova In David Koma – ‘Battle Of The Sexes’ LA Premiere

Joining Emma Stone, Maria Sharapova was also holding court at the LA premiere of ‘Battle Of The Sexes’ on Saturday (September 16) in Westwood, California.

By lining this ruffled macramé and satin frock from the David Koma Fall 2017 collection, she took the diagonal-cut mini down a sweeter, girlie route as opposed to more overt sexiness.

But that didn’t mean there wasn’t plenty of sassy fun to go around, which she amped up even more with sultry Nicholas Kirkwood ‘Leda’ pumps and a cherry-red lip.

There were mixed feelings about Emma’s look, so how does this one measure up?

Kylie Minogue In David Koma – ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’ London Premiere

Kylie Minogue joined Julianne Moore and Halle Berry on the red carpet for the premiere of ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’ in London this evening (September 18).

David Koma has carved out a stellar reputation with his sculpted dresses, yet this Spring 2017 LWD has a unique twist.

Demonstrating his signature aesthetic, the split sleeves delivers on every fashion front allowing for extra movement and imbuing the elegance of a cape.

Worthy of the red carpet, this needed just complementary heels and De Beers jewels.

Hailee Steinfeld In David Koma – VMA After-Party

Following her Atelier Versace red carpet look, Hailee Steinfeld was back on the red carpet for the VMA after-party hosted at TAO restaurant at the Dream Hotel on Sunday (August 27) in Los Angeles, California.

The singer wore a David Koma Resort 2018 white slip minidress with an arc of pink feathers that curved from hem to hip.

I’m not a fan of the over-the-knee boots here, the ankle boots worn by the model feels far more modern.

Taraji P. Henson In David Koma – Black Girls Rock! 2017

Rocking a new lease on style, ‘Empire’ star Taraji P. Henson hosted this year’s Black Girls Rock! 2017 awards show and celebration held on Saturday (August 4) in Newark, New Jersey.

She started off the red carpet on the right foot—or should we say leg—by strapping into a David Koma Fall 2017 design that fused feminine seduction with tougher edge.

I love the vixen-warrior mentality of this dress coupled with the designers’ signature sexy, body-con allure. Plus, it was a great match to her equally spirited new hairstyle.

Even though she didn’t choose the girls or the gams and flaunted both, she rocked the heck out of this look.

Who Wore David Koma Better? Elodie Yung or Lindsey Morgan?

Elodie Yung and Lindsey Morgan both wore their David Koma dress in very different ways.

Back in April, Elodie took the less is more approach to the ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2’ LA premiere going au natural with her hair and makeup, whereas Lindsay’s look was all about full on glamour with luscious waves and deep coral pout during Comic-Con.

When it comes to repeated looks, I always first look at the shoes.

On this occasion Linsday wins for her complementary pair of silver sparklers. Elodie beige pair don’t work for me at all.

Comic-Con 2017 Weekend Roundup

A constellation of more stars were at Comic-Con 2017 in San Diego, California throughout this past weekend.

Naomi Watts: Attending the ‘Twin Peaks: A Damn Good Panel,’ Naomi played to a vintage spirit in this Roksanda Resort 2018 colour-block design. Perhaps it was the combination of hues that had somewhat of an aging effect on her.

Krysten Ritter: Taking a graphic, black-and-white approach, Krysten was at ‘Marvel’s The Defenders’ press line in a Prabal Gurung Pre-Fall 2017 dress. I love the striking attitude of the look in partnership with her ruby-red lip and Kurt Geiger booties for a touch of rebel edge.

Kaley Cuoco: This exploded Alice + Olivia Resort 2018 pinstripe shirt dress translated more like an afterthought with the slouchy, undone front and the head-scratching, chunky shoes when Kaley stopped by ‘The Big Bang Theory’ panel.
