Demi Lovato In Cushnie et Ochs – ‘Beyond Silence’ Documentary Premiere

Demi Lovato attended the premiere of ‘Beyond Silence’ on Wednesday (February 22) in LA.

There was a time when I wasn’t too fond of Demi’s style, but something has shifted; something has changed and it’s a change for the better.

Her Cushnie et Ochs Spring 2017 look is effortlessly elegant, while possessing a hint of sex appeal.

While the trousers maybe a inch too long, they do serve as the striking feature within look.

You may remember that Naomie Harris opted to wear these trousers to a screening of ‘Moonlight’ recently, but opted to switch up the runway top.

Olivia Culpo Front Row @ NYFW Fall 2017

There seemed to be hardly a front row seat without Olivia Culpo’s name on it during New York Fashion Week—her respective designer looks from each show reflecting the wide variety of presentations she frequented.

Noon By Noor: Mannish vamp was the mood with her all-black ensemble at the Noon By Noor show on Thursday (February 9), where her sleek bun and glossy crimson lip took the look from standard to sultry.

Cushnie Et Ochs: Pants again were in play at the Cushnie et Ochs show on Friday (February 10), but the most I noticed of them was where the waistband peeked through the deep plunge of the vest that actually seemed strangely ill-fitting. It compromised the outfit, as sometimes a plunge is just too deep. She accessorized with a Lee Savage clutch.

Zimmermann: From menswear to mega-feminine, Olivia flipped the script at the Zimmermann show on Monday (February 13) with a look from the label’s Spring 2017 collection that served up ruffled, lacy romanticism with an innocently sultry finish. With the lace-up boots, you can see the ‘sexy pirate’ edge that was rife throughout that collection.

Jennifer Lopez In Cushnie et Ochs – Jennifer Lopez x Giuseppe Zanotti Shoe Launch Party

As we all know, Jennifer Lopez has never met a mini, body-con, sparkly dress she didn’t love, however, last night (January 26) at the LA launch party of her shoe collection, she turned her attention to her footwear.

Sexy, blinged out, high octane glamour is what JLo and Giuseppe Zanotti both represent, so they worked together to create an ultra-modern, feminine collection of killer heels,
flats and wedge sneakers.

Some would say it was a natural fit.

I wouldn’t say the same about her Cushine et Ochs Resort 2017 dress. The fit appeared to be way off for me.

She tried to pull it back with the Valentino clutch bag, but I couldn’t find any love for this look.

Perhaps had she not attempted to sexify the look by dropping the v-neck it may have worked.

Thoughts?

Naomie Harris In Diane von Furstenberg & Cushnie et Ochs – ‘Moonlight’ Special Screening

Naomie Harris attended a special screening of ‘Moonlight’ on Monday (January 23) in London.

The actress once again proved how striking she looks in black wearing a black and cream Diane von Furstenberg striped top with Cushnie et Ochs colour-block pants for an ensemble that ironically had none of the overt slit-to-there sexiness for which the designer is known.

The tonal fluidity of the solid top, as was presented on the runway, helped streamline the look of the pants, as the wide silhouette can be tricky to wear.

However, it’s nice to see Naomie bring her own unique style personality to them.

Adriana Lima In Alexander Wang, Joie, Francesco Scognamiglio & Cushnie et Ochs – Da Vinci Collection by IWC Schaffhausen Launch

Adriana Lima joined fellow supermodel Karolina Kurkova at the Da Vinci Collection by IWC Schaffhausen launch before heading to the ‘Decoding the Beauty of Time’ Gala Dinner by IWC Schaffhausen at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie on Tuesday (January 17) in Geneva, Switzerland.

Da Vinci Collection Launch: For her first look, she played with a sophisticated palette of winter whites in a creamy Alexander Wang coat, Joie shirt, and Francesco Scognamiglio pants finished with a pair of Stuart Weitzman boots. I have to admit I’m still acclimating to the drop-crotch, cropped pants silhouette that’s trending now, but if anyone can pull it off, it’s Adriana.

IWC Gala Dinner: Adriana’s Cushnie et Ochs one-shoulder gown beautifully fit like a glove. Its rose-gold hue had me at hello, as it was powerfully set alight with her bold red lip. A rose-gold IWC watch and Giuseppe Zanotti metallic sandals seamlessly completed the look.
