Celebrities Love…Printed Jeans

Jeans have been a celebrity off-duty staple for a long while, but it appears they are becoming more creative with their choices as summer rolls around.

At the moment celebs can’t get enough of printed jeans, whether they are tie-dye, floral, splatter painted or star prints.

The key to pulling off this trend successfully is by wearing a more neutral, simple top with your bottoms.

Cheryl Cole In Current/Elliott – Key 103 Radio

Cheryl Cole continued her tour of radio stations in the UK, dropping by Key 103 Radio in Manchester yesterday to promote her new single ‘Call My Name’.

She greeted her fans with a huge smile as she left the studio wearing a taupe cropped leather collarless jacket, which is to-die-for, a grey tank and another pair of Current Elliott ‘Stiletto’ jeans.

This light pink leopard pair of jeans is much more complementary to her look. I’m still not sure what she was thinking the last time out.

Whilst Cheryl has designed two shoe collections for Stylist Pick, this is the first time we actually get to see her wearing a pair.

The ‘Humbug’ bootie with python trims is from her Spring/Summer collection.

Kate Bosworth and her beau Michael Polish are inseparable at the moment.

The couple were intertwined as they were spotted headed to Jack n Jill’s restaurant in Santa Monica yesterday.

Whilst he was in head-to-toe black denim, she looked beautiful sporting a more summery look.

She teamed a Mulberry ‘Effie’ star embellished t-shirt with Current/Elliott ‘Girlfriend’ shorts.

Kate’s accessories included Westward \\ Leaning ‘Louisiana Purchase’ sunglasses, her ‘can’t live without’ Isabel Marant ‘Dicker’ ankle boots and a tan Ralph Lauren saddle shoulder bag.

Cheryl Cole In Current/Elliott, Alexander Wang & Boy. by Band of Outsiders – BBC Radio One Studios

Cheryl Cole was spotted at BBC Radio One studios earlier today.

She was on the Chris Moyles show to promote her new single, ‘Call My Name’, plus she talked about Simon Cowell, and Girls Aloud reforming for their tenth anniversary in November. Has it really been that long?

The singer braved the treacherous rainy conditions wearing a colourful ensemble.

Her Current/Elliott leopard-print jeans are the standout piece of this look.

They were teamed with an Alexander Wang silk colour-block top and a black Boy by Band of Outsiders blazer with leather lapels.

Christian Louboutin ‘Djaldos’ pink wedges and her trademark voluminous bouffant completed her look.

Whilst I like some of the pieces individually, together it is a hot mess.

Leopard print, colour-block and neon? Seriously, how many trends does she need to work in one look?

And to think this woman is still regarded as a style icon.

Sarah Jessica Parker Loves Her Current/Elliott ‘The Beatnik’ Jeans

When it comes to the school run, Sarah Jessica Parker goes for comfort pairing jeans with a simple top or jacket.

She has been spotted taking James Wilke Broderick to school in New York City wearing Current/Elliott’s ‘The Beatnik’ jeans on several occasions.

The blue washed cropped ‘Beatnik’ jean features a rolled up hem, whiskered thighs, five pockets and button up fastening.

Whilst her jeans are the same, her choice of bag is always different.

Miranda Kerr In Dries Van Noten & Current/Elliott – Juvenex Spa

Continuing to enjoy the warm weather in New York City, Miranda Kerr was spotted leaving an office building on Tuesday afternoon.

Firmly holding onto her title of best street style, Miranda tried out the latest trend of printed pants in a pair of leopard-print Current/Elliot jeans.

To offset the wild print, Miranda topped off the pants with a simple white tee and an edgy, but neutral, grey-and-black motorcycle-inspired Dries Van Noten caplet.

Black flats, a large burgundy carry-all and cat-eye shades completed the look.

Just once I’d like to see this girl look imperfect.
