2017 Emmy Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Here is our roundup from Sunday’s 2017 Emmy Awards.

Shannon Purser: I felt this was quite a magical, fairytale moment for Shannon. Her custom Sachin and Babi gown was simply breath-taking. Not only in colour, but also in design. The look was styled with Swarovski jewels.

Judith Light: Some might say this Christian Siriano gown is dated, but Judith brings so much energy to the look, that one can’t help but be left in awe.

Cara Buono In Cristina Ottaviano – 2017 Emmy Awards

One of the first to grace the 2017 Emmys red carpet on Sunday (September 17), Cara Buono brought some drama to the usual black gown.

Clad in Irene Lummertz Jewelry and a Cristina Ottaviano Spring 2017 gown, the strapless silhouette got a sharp update with a slash of pale blue across the bodice. I like the idea of the detail, but felt it failed to translate to the red carpet. It needs more structure because right now, it looks limp.

It’s a pity because without the contrasting fabric, she would just be in an unmemorable black dress.

3rd Annual Diamond Ball Benefiting The Clara Lionel Foundation Red Carpet Roundup

Glamour was the name of the game at the 3rd Annual Diamond Ball Benefiting The Clara Lionel Foundation. Stars sported their most sumptuous gown at the event on Thursday (September 14), joining Cardi B., Beyonce and host Rihanna.

Emily Ratajkowski: The model left me feeling underwhelmed with her vintage Chanel gown from Shrimpton Couture. There was plenty of cleavage and the slightly off-center buttons down the corset were unique, but they didn’t make a lasting impression.

Imaan Hammam: Proving that simplicity can be captivating was Imaan in Brandon Maxwell. The gown’s colour and cut took center stage, combined with the Dutch model’s incredible curls.

La La Anthony: Going for pure drama, La La lit up the grey carpet in Yousef Aljasmi. With so much shimmer and fringing, she was wise to tone down her beauty look, but I would have preferred all her hair swept up into the bun.

2017 Tony Awards Red Carpet Roundup

The glamour of the 2017 Tony Awards red carpet continued with a number of stars of stage and screen, who all converged in New York City on Sunday evening (June 11).

Denée Benton: The darling ingénue was dressed in an equally charming Oscar de la Renta Resort 2018 frock that turned over a chic new leaf with its whimsical flutter of embellished foliage. Styled with Oscar de la Renta ‘Romy’ sandals and Fred Leighton jewelry, the look was at the height of fresh sophistication and just so happened to coordinate with the rose and grass wall behind her. Such a stylish coincidence.

Condola Rashad: Making a dynamic entrance, Condola’s Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood Spring 2017 dress had the signature sculpted bodice and silhouette we’d expect. The impactful addition of the bold metallic and orange paneling, plus her sleek long ponytail, created a strong, modern look.

Patina Miller: Outfitting her baby bump in bright fuchsia pink, Patina wore a Roland Mouret that was precision fitted and formed to her, as we’d expect from the designer. A silver Judith Leiber clutch and Graziela Gems completed the look.

Emily Ratajkowski In Cristina Ottaviano – Harper’s Bazaar Celebrates 150 Most Fashionable Women

Harper’s Bazaar celebrated the 150 Most Fashionable Women in West Hollywood, California on Friday (January 27) with Emily Ratajkowski in attendance.

Naturally the model opted for a figure hugging look, but I find this Cristina Ottaviano gown a bit drab, done to death and stale in its design.

Emily has an amazing figure, but I would like to see her do something other than the obvious from time to time.
