Christopher Kane is definitely the designer of the week.

In the space of 7 days he has dressed 3 stars on the red carpet after not appearing on the red carpet since Emma Watson made her appearance on Letterman months ago.

Diane Kruger was the latest celebrity to fall in love with Kane’s kooky designs.

She wore a Fall 2009 Christopher Kane forest green silk and black velvet dress with an ultra feminine silhouette which has an urban twist. With all its flounce and velvet this dress stay true to a down town feel.

I much prefer the runway heels to her YSL Fall 2009 black suede and elastic Divine ankle boots but other than that this is another home run for Kruger.

Diane attended the photocall earlier in the day wearing a cold shouldered LBD accented with a studded belt.

She also wore a pair of See by Chloé studded ankle boots which I love and must own.

Sporting longer locks which were swept to the side, Lily Allen was named “Woman of the Year” and the “2009 GQ Men Of The Year Awards” in London last night.

The face of Chanel “Coco Cocoon” bag collection walked the red carpet wearing a black sheer double strapped Chanel Resort 2010 gown.

Had Lily wondered what that extra piece of material was for on the front of her gown, she’ll wonder no more when she sees her picture in the papers this morning.

Many of you are horrified that Lily is the face of Chanel, and when she ruins a perfectly wonderful gown like this I have to agree.

Freida Pinto makes a vast improvement from her last outing, which lets face it wouldn’t have been too difficult.

I love that she took a risk with this Christopher Kane black layered dress, but the hair is a bit too prim and proper for such an edgy look.

The actress pairs her dress with Rupert Sanderson Khyber cutout sandals.

I would’ve much rather seen Freida wear something more colourful, but I think she just pulls this off.

Louise Redknapp also opted for a shortened Christopher Kane Fall 2009 asymmetrical dress.

Her mesh dress with black velvet trims was paired with YSL Trib Two heels and Bottega Veneta clutch.

Katherine Jenkins appears to love the Victoria Beckham dress collection as much as the designer herself, as this is the 2nd VB dress we’ve seen her wear.

This time she opted for violet Giral strapless shot silk dress.

I’m guessing Katherine likes this collection so much because the dresses caters for those with a larger bust.

When I tried on a strapless dress from Victoria’s Spring 2009 collection I could barely fill the bodice.

The only way I recognised that Gemma Arterton was wearing Louis Vuitton was by her clutch and heels.

For some reason the LV pizazz is lost on Gemma, and this ruffle collared jacket suddenly becomes quite ordinary.

I just feel like raising the collar, its not meant to be so flat.

Victoria Hesketh aka Little Boots was one of my favourites at this event wearing a Josh Goot multi coloured printed ruched mini dress.

The surprising feature is that the back of the dress and sleeves are plain black.

The singer completes her look with an Alexander McQueen knuckle duster clutch.

Pixie Lott opted for a bedazzling Collette Dinnigan Spring 2009 mini dress coved in diamanté embellishments.

Ankle boots and studded cuffs complete the look.

We first saw this dress worn by Taylor Swift.

Much like Leighton Meester’s MTV Movie Awards Emilio De La Morena dress, Alexandra Burke’s black and white mesh Emilio Pucci dress is quite cheeky.

I’m really scared to see what this dress looked like from the back.

A turtleneck? In yesterday’s soaring heat?

I feel hot just looking at Kelly Osbourne wearing this Jasmine di Milo’s Fall 2009 dress.

Dita von Teese will be full of admiration for Kelly Brook’s waist reducing dress.

The pink rubber printed dress appears to have a built in corset to give Kelly an hour glass shape.

I bet she gave off a sexy wiggle when she walked in this dress.

Even though Eva Mendes was the “big star” at this event I was more impressed by people like Little Boots and Kelly Brook for giving us something new.

Eva wore a stunning maroon shimmering gown.

The colour was sublime on her, but the wow factor was missing. Eva can do this kind of look in her sleep.

Daisy Lowe opted for a space-aged look, which she paired down with black pumps.

Rachel Stevens hair and make-up is quite outstanding. I love the transformation maybe the newlywed decided to spice up her image.

Her LND with a voluminous skirt is oh so cute.

Tamara Ecclestone wore a striking Preen black and white lightening-print bandage-style dress paired with black ankle boots and a matching clutch.

Elizabeth Hurley’s strapless but dress is cute enough, but why I’m I so bored?

For most of you Leighton Meester was the belle of the Teen Choice Awards ball on Sunday, but her appearance on the red carpet on Saturday wasn’t as pretty.

For me Leighton got it very wrong when she sported this Christopher Kane Resort 2010 cut-out dress.

I like dress itself with it’s nuclear explosion print - it’s beautiful chaos - but it just doesn’t work for Leighton.  She doesn’t quite have the right look to pull this off.  Her rosy glow as wavy hair feel too cutesy for this dress.

Maybe a slick back pony and smoky eyes would’ve worked better.

Usually you can look to accessories to redeem a look, but her Giuseppe Zanotti heels and Sophia Coppola for Louis Vuitton slim suede clutch do little to save her.

I guess this was just a one off and she shouldn’t be condemned for it because at least she’s daring with her red carpet choices unlike some Amanda Bynes.

I’m surprised we never saw Sharon Stone wearing this Christian Dior Resort 2008 leopard print tiered chiffon dress, such is her love for animal print and Dior, but it’s was the gorgeous Demi Moore who wore it this weekend.

I like how the dress nipped her in at the waist and wasn’t left loose fitting like the runway dress, and that she didn’t over accessorize her look.

Her favourite Gold Bally platforms pumps and a matching clutch complete her look.

Anne Heche continues to hold her own against Demi.

The actress wore a white lace fitted dress with black sash tied to the waist to given her a sexy silhouette.

As usual her hair and make-up are perfection, whilst black Jimmy Choo Hamlet suede pumps and a black clutch complete her look.

I expected to see Emma Watson flying the flag for British designers during this promotional tour of “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince”, and she didn’t let me down wearing a stunning delicate nude organza Christopher Kane Fall 2009 tiered dress with a striking black trim.

The young actress once again hits the right style notes as the soft delicate dress is given an edge with the black piping, then she adds some quirky black heels with a gold platform from Charlotte Olympia.

A black fringed clutch completes the look.

Emma was fresh from the London premiere when she arrived New York for her Letterman appearance.

Emma is very much on-trend wearing two tone brogues which are too mannish for my taste, but her pink and black version are cute.

She wore her shoes with a bold polka-dot dress with nude straps.

I love how she is glowing with each picture. Can’t wait to see more

In her interview with Letterman, when he asked her about college Emma confirmed that she was going to the US to study in September, although she didn’t identify which college she will be attending.

Sorry for all the technical difficulties with the site. I’m working hard to get it fixed.

After her many Balmain dresses, it’s nice to see Julia Restoin-Roitfeld switch things up, by wearing another designer.

On this occasion she has picked a Christopher Kane gorilla print dress, with a black blazer, Chanel bag, tights and black heels.
