Christian Louboutin Celebrates Launch of ‘Passage’ Handbag Collection

Dita von Teese, Emmy Rossum and Alessandra Ambrosio joined Camilla Belle for Christian Louboutin’s celebration of the launch of the ‘Passage’ handbag collection at a private lunch hosted at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles on Tuesday (March 25).

Dita von Teese: The burlesque star was looking her usual glamorous self wearing a fall-like look, donning a tweed jacket with a rich burgundy velvet skirt styled with co-ordinated leather gloves. Too much for a luncheon?

Emmy Rossum: The ‘Shameless’ actress judged the dress code accordingly, wearing a chic sleeveless black-and-blue 3.1 Phillip Lim silk sequined embroidered dress styled with bright-blue Louboutins and a black Christian Louboutin ‘Khepira’ clutch.

Alessandra Ambrosio: Wearing a sexy white Sally LaPointe romper with a plunging neckline and layered shorts, the model styled her look with AS29 ‘Cascade’ Long earrings, Christian Louboutin ‘Impera’ laser-cut pumps and a tri-colour Christian Louboutin ‘Khepira’ tri-colour clutch.

Christian Louboutin So Kate Pumps

There is power in the pump. This quintessential heel has the potential to be strong—or completely sole-less. In the case of shoe titan, Christian Louboutin, his captivating ‘So Kate’ pumps certainly fall under the former category.

The sleek, sky-high style walks the line between irrefutably classy and undeniably sexy, with stiletto aficionados snapping up more than a pair or two in a surplus of shades.

One of the first to strut out the ‘So Kate’ back in April, Gwyneth Paltrow complemented her fashion-forward black ensemble with a shiny metallic variety, whilst Kristen Stewart added even more sultriness to her sheer lace number with a dark burgundy hue.

Perking up her plunging white cocktail frock, Mila Kunis wore a statement-making python pair. And, even though Elizabeth Banks let her nude version take more of a back seat with her red cropped ensemble, the riveting heels were still very much present and accounted for.

Do the simple, yet seductive, ‘So Kate’ pumps have you under their spell?

The Christian Louboutin ‘Bis Un Bout’ pumps made their red-carpet debut back in February when both Rihanna and Alicia Keys wore them on the red carpet for the 2012 Grammy Awards.

They then went on to become the hottest property of the year, selling out the second they hit boutiques and virtual shelves around the world.

Many of you have likened them to stripper shoes because of the PVC patent leather combo, but didn’t stopped Naya Rivera, Brooklyn Decker, Ashley Madekwe, La La Vasquez, Beyonce Knowles, Solange Knowles, Elle MacPherson, Kristen Stewart, Angie Harmon, Lea Michele and Emma Stone wearing them.
