Eva Riccobono In Christian Dior – ‘Tracks’ Venice Film Festival Premiere

Eva Riccobono In Christian Dior - 'Tracks' Venice Film Festival Premiere

I am not entirely sure what the significance was, but Eva Riccobono was blowing bubbles on the red carpet this evening while attending the ‘Tracks’ premiere during the 2013 Venice Film Festival held at the Palazzo del Cinema in Italy.

She heard our pleas and opted for something totally different wearing a black chiffon Christian Dior Fall 2013 layered dress with colourful motifs and embellished detailing.

The look was styled with Christian Dior ankle strap pumps, sleek straight locks and a pink lip colour.

Eva is yet to blow me away during this festival. I am feeling totally underwhelmed by this look as it doesn’t really live up to what we would expect glamour-wise from a Venice Film Festival premiere.

Olivia Palermo In Christian Dior – Vogue Australia Shoot

Olivia Palermo In Christian Dior - Vogue Australia Shoot

Olivia Palermo was spotted with the Vogue Australia styling team, who were prepping the brunette beauty for a shoot at Sydney Harbour, Australia yesterday afternoon.

Just one of the many looks they tried with the starlet was a Christian Dior Fall 2013 black skirt with a draped detail falling from the hip, which we saw on Jennifer Hudson on Sunday at the VMAs.

From this picture and the ones appearing on Vogue Australia’s Instagram, it appears that they are giving Olivia a natural look, not stepping too far outside the fashionista’s comfort zone; however, they did add extensions to her shoulder-length hair, teasing it into a messy braid.

Jennifer Hudson In Christian Dior – 2013 MTV Video Music Awards #VMAs

Jennifer Hudson In Christian Dior - 2013 MTV Video Music Awards #VMAs

Jennifer Hudson joined the in-crowd at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, hosted at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on Sunday night.

The singer-actress gave us another glimpse of the Christian Dior Fall 2013 collection, as she mixed together two looks from the runway.

She paired the strapless, black-and-white houndstooth top with a black wrap skirt that featured an asymmetrical draped waist.

When it comes to her accessories, the selection of bracelets and smattering of cocktail rings would have been more than enough. She should have removed the choker necklace, which had the poor effect of cheapening the ensemble.

Winged cat-eye makeup and long sleek locks, finished with a fringe of bangs, completed the picture.

Best Dressed of The Week – Olivia Wilde In Theyskens’ Theory, Kelly Chen In Dior and Josh Duhamel In Dolce & Gabbana

BDOTW

You crowned Olivia Wilde as your best dressed this week. She was back to her radiant best wearing a Theyskens’ Theory dress.

My pick was Kelly Chen. It’s not often that I use the words Dior and cool in the same sentence, but it definitely applied on this occasion.

As for the men, there was no contest. Josh Duhamel in his berry Dolce & Gabbana suit was a clear winner.

Who Wore Christan Dior Better…Princess Charlene of Monaco or Jenna Coleman?

Who Wore Christan Dior Better Princess Charlene of Monaco or Jenna Coleman

Princess Charlene of Monaco took her front row seat for the Christian Dior Cruise 2014 presentation in Monaco back in May wearing a strapless navy-and-black striped dress from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection, which she wore with a round-neck black cashmere top to give her more coverage.

Jenna Coleman wore the same dress as part of a trio of Comic-Con looks when she took to the red carpet with her boyfriend Richard Madden for Entertainment Weekly’s annual Comic-Con celebrations.
The petite British star styled her look simply with black pumps and a chain-accented bag.

While I love that Princess Charlene made the look her own, I much prefer this dress as it was intended – strapless – so Jenna wins for me.
