Jennifer Lawrence In Christian Dior Couture – 2013 Oscars

oscars-jennifer-lawrence

Best actress nominee Jennifer Lawrence stunned as she made her way down the red carpet Sunday at the 2013 Oscars held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

The young ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ actress wore Dior Haute Couture for her big night, and the dress made a big impact.

By choosing to wear a delicate Chopard necklace down her back, Jennifer is undoubtably restarting a back jewelry trend, and I’m eager to see how quickly it takes off.

Jennifer’s flawless skin and subtle smokey eyes keep her makeup look fresh and young, which keeps the voluminous dress from aging her. I have a feeling people will be crying ‘wedding gown’ on this one, but I think it’s stunning and perfectly apropos for the occasion.

Marion Cotillard In Christian Dior Couture – Cesar Film Awards 2013

Marion Cotillard In Christian Dior Couture - Cesar Film Awards 2013

Marion Cotillard attended the Cesar Film Awards 2013 held at Theatre du Chatelet on Friday evening in Paris, France.

The actress wore yet another look from the Christian Dior Spring 2013 Couture collection.

Her BAFTA look was sexy and fashion-forward, but the same can’t be said for this strapless creation.

Opting for a safer, simpler look, her light-pink gown with black stripes was styled with black embellished pumps and Chopard jewels.

I love the 40s style pin up, but I’m finding it hard to get excited about this gown. This should’ve been an option for Jennifer Lawrence.

Do you agree?

First Look: Jennifer Lawrence’s Miss Dior Campaign

memo-dior02

With the Academy Awards just around the corner, Dior has released the first set of pictures of Jennifer Lawrence’s Miss Dior Campaign.

The Oscar nominated actress for ‘Sliver Linings Playbook’, was shot by Willy Vanderperre wearing pieces from the Spring 2013 collection.

Glamorously showcasing both blue and rose-pink Miss Dior chain-accented bags, the other two black-and-white images are close up beauty shots.

I’m very impressed with this campaign so-far. As you know I haven’t been the biggest champion of the Lawrence-Dior collabo, but I have to eat my words on this occasion.

Amanda Seyfried In Christian Dior – Vanity Fair Campaign Hollywood 2013

Amanda Seyfried In Christian DiorAmanda Seyfried joined Anne Hathaway for Vanity Fair Campaign Hollywood 2013, hosted with the Chrysler brand in celebration of ‘Les Miserables,’ at Eveleigh restaurant in Los Angeles, California on Wednesday.

Just call her Princess Charming in this adorable frock from Christian Dior.

The sweetly innocent cut of the dress received a jolt of edge in the graphic print and the sliver of electric blue that brilliantly peeked out at the hem.

The blues continued with her matching Alexandre Birman platform pumps.

The actress looks like she may have just had a fresh chop to her blonde locks, too, as the layers are falling shorter around her face.

A flirty petal-pink lippie completed this look.

Chloe Moretz In Christian Dior – Vanity Fair Campaign Hollywood 2013

Chloe Moretz In Christian Dior - Vanity Fair Campaign Hollywood 2013

Chloe Moretz attended the Vanity Fair Campaign Hollywood 2013 last night in Los Angeles.

The ‘Carrie’ star and fashion risk-taker wore a long-sleeved black dress from the Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2013 Collection.

A dress with so much heavy fabric could have easily overtaken the petite star, but Moretz manages to pull it off. The dress is the perfect length, and by pairing it with a blush-coloured Rupert Sanderson ‘Elba’ pumps, she keeps the ensemble from being too drab.

Her smoky eye and casually tousled hair keep her look young and edgy, rather then crossing into matron territory.

Is this look feeling familiar? That’s because Marion Cotillard wore a similar look to the SAG Awards.

Michelle Williams In Christian Dior – Late Night with David Letterman

Michelle Williams In Christian Dior - Late Night with David Letterman

Michelle Williams was spotted headed to the Ed Sullivan Theatre in New York City for her guest appearance on ‘Late Night with David Letterman’ to promote her latest movie, ‘Oz: The Great and Powerful’.

With Michelle, Raf Simons scores a hat trick of lovely ladies wearing pieces from his Christian Dior Spring 2013 collection, as Michelle follows Katherine Jenkins and Maribel Verdu.

Presented in the collection as a grey short-sleeved double-breasted tuxedo dress with a sculptured skirt, Michelle selected a long-sleeved navy wool version, which seemed appropriate given the wet conditions in Manhattan.

I’m very surprised, but delighted, to see that she didn’t wear tights with the look, showing off her shapely pins with platformed Christian Louboutin grey suede pumps.

You adored her Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall look, so how does this Christian Dior look fare?

I have to say this is an amazing start to her promo tour. It appears that her style has shifted several gears from her previous outings.

Katherine Jenkins In Christian Dior – IMG Models ‘Be Conscious It’s Happening’ Party

Katherine Jenkins In Christian Dior - IMG Models ‘Be Conscious It’s Happening’ Party

Katherine Jenkins attended the IMG Models ‘Be Conscious It’s Happening’ party held at The Network Building in London yesterday evening.

The Welsh singer wore a Christian Dior Spring 2013 dress.

Those familiar with Katherine’s style will know that she usually goes for a much tighter, fitted silhouette, preferring signature dresses by Victoria Beckham and Roland Mouret.

On this occasion, she wore a double-layered sheer tulle dress with a glitter pattern, which she styled with simple black peep-toes.

I find this look very refreshing. Katherine has been long overdue a style do-over, so I hope this look is the first of many which will see her experiment a little bit more with fashion.
