Elsa Zylberstein In Zuhair Murad Couture, Elie Saab & Christian Dior – Marrakech Film Festival

Elsa Zylberstein In Zuhair Murad Couture, Elie Saab & Christian Dior - Marrakech Film Festival

We are three days into the Marrakech International Film Festival, which kick-started on Friday in Morocco, and we have three looks from Elsa Zylberstein.

Opening Ceremony: At the opening ceremony, the French actress wore a Zuhair Murad Fall 2013 Couture nude high-neck gown with lace embroidery. The first words that came to mind were “mother-to-be”. That was until I saw her next look.

‘A Thousand Times Good Night’ Premiere: Wearing a more streamline Elie Saab Pre-Fall 2013 black beaded gown, “mother-to-be” wasn’t my first thought. More like “what a chic, elegant look”, which she styled with a sleek centre-parted bun, a cuff and a satin bow-accented clutch.

‘Like Father, Like Son’ Premiere: Dior dresses are really dominating this festival. I’m guessing it was a prerequisite in order to attend, or the brand was smart enough to take their fabulous dresses to the event knowing they would have beautiful actresses ready to snap up their red-carpet-ready looks. Elsa wore a black-and-white strapless corseted dress with a draped detail at the hip, which you may remember we first saw on Jennifer Lawrence during Cannes Film Festival. Carrying the same black clutch from the night before, Elsa added a pair of stunning earrings and black Louboutin pumps to her look.

Patricia Clarkson In Christian Dior – ‘A Thousand Times Good Night’ Marrakech International Film Festival Premiere

Like Marion Cotillard, Patricia Clarkson also donned her second Dior frock to the ‘A Thousand Times Good Night’ premiere during the 2013 Marrakech International Film Festival.

Turning down the volume, she opted for a beautiful black silk embroidered sleeveless dress which nipped her in slightly at the waist, creating a charming silhouette.

Wearing her hair back on this occasion, she styled her look with a matte red lip, a grey velvet Dior clutch and stunning gold earrings.

Even though I loved the yellow Dior gown for the opening ceremony, I favour this more glamorous, classic look on Patricia.

Which do you favour?

It must be something in the Moroccan air, as Patricia Clarkson was the second “lady in yellow” at the Marrakech International Film Festival on Friday.

While Deepika Padukone chose a mustard shade, Patricia stepped out in a lemon-coloured gown from the Christian Dior Resort 2014 collection. The well-fitting number — similar to Natalie Portman’s shorter red version — featured a rise-and-fall hem, giving us just the slightest peek of her gold metallic pumps.

She completed the look with a smattering of gold accessories and a matte red lip.

I love the sunny hue, but wish she would have skipped the gilded accents in favour of a more standout coordinating colour — perhaps sapphire or fuchsia?

Are you happy with this look as is, or is something missing?

Marion Cotillard In Christian Dior – ‘A Thousand Times Good Night’ Marrakech International Film Festival Premiere

Marion Cotillard continued her Christian Dior run at the 13th Marrakech International Film Festival in Morocco, when she attended the ‘A Thousand Times Good Night’ premiere on Saturday.

Dressed in a Spring 2014 design, she brought a wondrous jolt of slightly psychedelic colour to the red carpet.

The bold candy-striped, racer-back top was just the right streamlined, sporty offset to the matching tea-length skirt that ballooned out ever so faintly—and flatteringly—at the hips.

While the runway featured a dramatic, seaweed-inspired beaded necklace, the actress toned down her interpretation, keeping her accessories to a bare minimum and letting the ensemble speak for itself. A pair of lavender and black, ankle-strap Dior sandals, along with an effortless side ponytail, were the main flourishes here.

Did Marion earn her style stripes here, in your opinion?

Marion Cotillard graced the red carpet at the opening ceremony of the 13th Marrakech International Film Festival last Friday night in Marrakech, Morocco.

The French actress and Lady Dior beauty showed us another look from the Christian Dior Fall 2013 Couture collection, with a black-and-cream gown in an allover dotted print that had a vaguely exotic, tribal spirit.

The front silhouette of the dress was beguilingly simple. But the view from the back was a bit more complex, with a mock keyhole cape-like detail that bustled into a slight train.

Skipping the runway’s long matching gloves, she warmed up the styling with a soft, side-parted updo, along with the flick of a black cat-eye and a blush-nude lip.

Jennifer Hudson In Christian Dior – 2013 American Music Awards

Jennifer Hudson In Christian Dior – 2013 American Music Awards

Jennifer Hudson brought a jolt of neon energy to the red carpet of the 2013 American Music Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night.

The singer looked ravishing in a short-sleeved, orange Christian Dior gown with a asymmetrical, high-low hemline.

Her one-legged peek-a-boo with the pink lining of the dress is tons of fun and totally unique and really makes her stand out from the crowd.

Jennifer’s silver strapped platforms were the perfect shoe choice for the look, and let me just say, I’m dying over the electric blue eyeliner.

Not everyone would have dared to bring in yet another neon shade with this ensemble, but it is my favorite beauty look of the night.

I also love the new highlights in her pixie and this parted style is my favorite way she’s styled her new cropped ‘do thus far.

You may remember that Clotilde Courau wore this same dress back in September during the Deauville American Film Festival.

Nieves Alvarez In Christian Dior – Woolmark’s ‘Campaña por la Lana’ Campaign Promotion

Nieves Alvarez continued her promotional efforts for Woolmark’s ‘Campaña por la Lana’ campaign in Madrid, Spain.

The model this time wore a cable-knit look from Christian Dior’s Fall 2013 collection featuring a high-neck sweater with a high-waist skirt featuring a draped detail on the hip.

If the top appears a tad bulkier on Nieves this would be due to her again wearing the look with a black turtleneck with thumbholes.

Manolo Blahnik black pumps completed the look again.
