‘The Walking Dead’ Season 5 LA Premiere

'The Walking Dead' Season 5 LA Premiere

Alanna Masterson, Danai Gurira, Lauren Cohan, Emily Kinney and Sonequa Martin-Green attended the Season 5 premiere of ‘The Walking Dead’ held at AMC Universal City Walk on Thursday (October 2) in Universal City, California.

Alanna Masterson: The actress was the most colourful of the bunch, selecting a Chris by Christopher Bu printed frock. She also opted for printed ankle booties, when a solid pair of orange, yellow or lavender heels would’ve worked perfectly.

Danai Gurira: Also opting for colour and flare, Danai wore a Christian Siriano Resort 2015 striped frock emboldened with a structural skirt. Unlike Alanna, she played it right with the solid accessories including a bronze Rauwolf clutch, berry peep-toes and H.Stern jewels.

Chiling Lin In Chris by Christopher Bu – Longines Event

Chiling Lin In Chris by Christopher Bu - Longines Event

Chiling Lin attended an event hosted by Longines in Guangzhou, China on Tuesday (July 26).

The gorgeous model/actress wore a dress by Fan Bingbing’s favourite designer, Chris by Christopher Bu, selecting a pale-blue off-the-shoulder knee-length dress featuring sweet bow accents on the shoulders.

Sadly, when compared to the lookbook, Chiling’s styling falls a little flat. Just a brown belt alone erases the initial charm.

Silver jewels and a Longines timepiece completed her look.

Fan Bingbing In Chris by Christopher Bu & Helen Lee - 'The White Haired Witch of Lunar Kingdom' Press Conference & Premiere

Fan Bingbing continued to promote her new movie, ‘The White Haired Witch of Lunar Kingdom’, attending two more events.

Beijing Press Conference: You’ll be delighted to see the lack of quadruple-stacked heels on this very rare occasion. The actress wore her Saint Laurent criss-cross platform patent-leather pumps with a pretty blue and black patterned Chris by Christopher Bu Fall 2014 dress with her raven waves tumbling down one side. While her gown choices are a tad on the predictable side, her looks for press conferences are varied and playful.

Beijing Premiere: I am sure you are as shocked as I am that the actress didn’t wear a flowy, embellished gown of the Elie Saab variety for the premiere, instead wearing a Helen Lee Fall 2014 blouson top and skirt in shades of pink and grey which both feature a red-manicured hand holding a rabbit. This may appear strange but the Chinese designer is often inspired by Chinese contemporary artists when creating her collections. Bunny-clutching print aside, I love this look; once again I find it refreshing, with the mint-green Lanvin pumps drawing out the green on her skirt.

Fan Bingbing In Christopher Bu – Barbie Doll Launch

Fan Bingbing In Christopher Bu - Barbie Doll Launch

Fan Bingbing attended her Barbie doll launch held at Grand Gateway Plaza on Saturday (May 31) in Shanghai, China.

The ‘X Men’ actress wore a Christopher Bu Spring 2014 music note short-sleeved gown for the special unveiling of her doll, who wears the dragon print gown which made her famous on an international level.

I love how soft and feminine she looks, especially with the simple hair and makeup; however, the dress feels like it is a size too big.

Fan Bingbing In Chris by Christopher Bu - Cosmo Beauty Awards 2013

Fan Bingbing attended the Cosmo Beauty Awards 2013 held in Shanghai, China on Thursday.

The actress once again supported her stylist Christopher Bu by wearing one of the dresses from his Fall 2013 collection.

We have often accused Bingbing of overdressing; here, I don’t feel this fit-and-flare winter floral dress is grand enough for the occasion. Even with the studded Gucci belt and diamond-encrusted jewels.

Black quadruple-stacked Giuseppe Zanotti peep-toes, matte hot-red lips and cascading side-swept curls completed the look.

Do you wish she had worn something grander for the occasion, or are you happy she reined it in for once?

Fan Bingbing In Chris by Christopher Bu - 2013 China Elegance Grand Ceremony

Fan Bingbing attended the 2013 China Elegance Grand Ceremony at National Aquatic in Beijing, China yesterday evening, where she picked up the ‘Fashion Icon’ award.

While we have questioned a few of her last looks, there is no question that she does deserve this award after giving us many memorable red carpet moments.

On this occasion she wore a Chris by Christopher Bu Fall 2013 purple look with a striking pink floral print, consisting of an overcoat – sans the tulle underlay – and dramatic full-length ball skirt styled with a simple black top instead of the sexier mesh top the model wore in the look book.

Opting to keep her long raven tresses pulled back into a simple bun, she added a hot-pink lip colour complementary to her look and her favourite gold Louis Vuitton minaudière.

For me, this is Bingbing back to her best.

Do you agree?

Zhang Yuqi In Chris by Christopher Bu – Chinese Academy Awards

Zhang Yuqi In Chris by Christopher Bu - Chinese Academy Awards

Zhang Yuqi, our favourite starlet to emerge from Cannes Film Festival, attended the Chinese Academy Awards in China recently, where she collected the Golden Phoenix Award.

This will be the first time we are seeing the actress’s legs as she wore all gowns during Cannes; however, on this occasion she selected a pretty pink floral long-sleeved dress with a poufy skirt from the Chris by Christopher Bu’s Fall 2013 collection.

Her sweet dress with a feminine silhouette was styled with gold Saint Laurent ‘Tribtoo’ pumps, which will never die, diamond stud earrings and a half-up, half-down hairstyle.
