Anna Mouglalis In Chanel - 'La Jalousie' Venice Film Festival Premiere

Venice Film Festival is still running, even though TIFF kick-started last night.

Anna Mouglalis attended ‘La Jalousie’ premiere held at the Sala Grande in Venice, Italy yesterday evening.

The Chanel ambassadress had the honour of Uncle Karl creating a Chanel Couture pale-pink lace gown especially for the French actress.

Her delicate cold-shoulder dress with a tiered skirt is so very beautiful as is that gold web-like fine necklace; however, I wish the black Chanel quilted clutch and black Chanel peep-toes had been replaced with something that felt a lot less heavy.

She had me until I spied the accessories, as both her hair and makeup couldn’t be more complementary to this look.

Virginie Ledoyen In Chanel - Chopard Photocall

Virginie Ledoyen, member of the Venice Film Festival jury, attended an event hosted by Chopard yesterday afternoon.

The French actress wore a Chanel Resort 2014 chic, effortless look which consisted of an off-white silk sleeveless blouse and black sheer wrap skirt with black leather Chanel pumps with a patent toe-cap and a black-and-cream Maison Michel hat.

Parisian chic personified, especially with the flawless complexion and barely there makeup.

You may think the hat was unnecessary, especially for an indoor event, but I think it tops off the look quite nicely.

Zhang Ziyi In Chanel - 'The Grandmaster' LA Premiere

Following her guest appearance on ‘Extra’ earlier in the day, Zhang Ziyi took to the red carpet at ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood, California for ‘The Grandmaster’ premiere.

Opting for a dainty Chanel Fall 2013 black dress featuring an A-line skirt and patent-leather panels, she added a pearl-accented leather belt and a Chanel striped chain-accented bag to liven up the look.

A dainty dress deserves a dainty shoe, but Ziyi selected a heavy pair of black Casadei pumps with gold piping, which I didn’t favour.

Punchy pink lips and diamond-encrusted pendant earrings completed her look.

Chanel Diane Kruger

Back in April it was announced that Diane Kruger was going to be the face for Chanel’s cosmetics campaign.

The success of the campaign can be seen here with images captured by Peter Lindbergh, seeing the German actress looking very elegant posing against a beach backdrop.

Chanel’s Resynchronizing Collection features the Le Jour de Chanel, La Nuit de Chanel and Le Weekend de Chanel creams, which are all made to re-energize the skin – and who would disagree when Diane looks so refreshed here?

Le Jour De Chanel Morning Reactivating Face Care promises to reactivate and strengthen skin using a combination of jasmine extract and salicylic acid. Your complexion will appear smooth and radiant, and ready to face the day.

La Nuit De Chanel Evening Recharging Face Care is designed to repair and recharge once the sun goes down. Frankincense extract from the resin of the Boswellia serrata tree soothes the skin, while hyaluronic acid provides a plumping effect. Your complexion will appear supple upon awakening, with no signs of dullness.

Le Weekend De Chanel Weekly Renewing Face Care enhances renewal and replenishes hydration to give skin a much-needed weekend break. Combined with relaxing rose water, a gentle glycolic acid complex is gradually released for ideal exfoliation and lasting moisture. Skin is softer and more luminous for the week ahead.

Miley Cyrus In Chanel - ABC Studios

Miley Cyrus was spotted headed to ABC studios for a guest appearance on ‘Good Morning America’ on Monday where, alongside Ryan Seacrest and Keith Urban, she promoted the upcoming iHeart Radio Music Festival, which will be held in September at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, where she will be performing.

She arrived wearing a ladylike Chanel black short-sleeved ribbed knit dress with contrasting white trim, paired with her favourite white pumps.

For the show she changed into a striped, perforated bra top and matching high-waist skirt from the Marc Jacobs Resort 2014 collection. Both of which were thankfully fully lined.

A Jennifer Meyer ‘M’ necklace and red lippie completed her look.

Was this too risqué for breakfast telly? I think the length of the skirt, which extends past the knee, keeps this look on the right side of tasteful.

Do you agree?

Tilda Swinton In Chanel - Public Talk and Q&A with Michael Idov

Tilda Swinton attended a public talk and Q&A session with journalist and writer Michael Idov at Coffeemania in Moscow earlier this month.

The Scottish actress, who is the face of Chanel’s Pre-Fall 2013 ad campaign, wore her third look from the French brand’s Resort 2014 collection.

On this occasion she wore a salmon-and-black crepe-de-chine pleated blouse and skirt with signature ‘CC’ button detailing.

I love how she switches gears between androgynous and feminine looks seamlessly.

Even though I would’ve preferred this look to have been cut to the length of the buttons just below the knee, this is a great look for Tilda. I like that Uncle Karl is bringing out her more feminine side.

Couture Wish List 1

With Fall 2013 Couture week behind us and the first piece already taken to the red carpet, here is a roundup of the looks I would love to see on the red carpet and who I would like to see wearing them.

Alexandre Vauthier Couture: This bedazzled and feathered confection has Grammys, Billboard Awards or MTV Music Awards written all over it, so this look gave me a bit of a conundrum. I would love to see it on Katy Perry because the blue would be divine against her pale skin and dark hair; however, with such a deep plunge and being so well endowed, it could be a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen, so I switched my final choice to Jennifer Lopez, who would work that slit like no other.

Alexis Mabille Couture: While the burlesque queen Dita von Teese loves black, she does step out of her comfort zone from time to time. This puff-sleeved blouse and floral skirt combo would be a refreshing change. It would be too much to ask for the runway styling, as we all know she loves those retro waves and red lips, but I’m pretty confident she could pull this look off.
