Charlotte Casiraghi and Princess Caroline of Hanover attended the La Bal de la Rose 2015 in aid of the Princess Grace Foundation, where they kept good company with designer Karl Lagerfeld at Sporting Monte-Carlo on Saturday (March 28) in Monte-Carlo, Monaco.

Charlotte Casiraghi: Donning a pink sequin dress, embroidered with a black sequined trim, from the Chanel Haute Couture Spring 2015 collection, she was youthful elegance personified. While the styling wasn’t so inspiring with a black satin clutch and black pumps, this wasn’t the place for the runway’s mesh gloves and boots.

Lily Allen In Chanel Couture – Le Bal de la Rose 2015

Lily Allen In Chanel Couture - Le Bal de la Rose 2015

Lily Allen performed during the Rose Ball 2015 in aid of the Princess Grace Foundation at Sporting Monte-Carlo on Saturday (March 28) in Monte-Carlo, Monaco.

Sporting new dyed blonde tresses, the British singer wore a custom-made fringed Chanel Couture pink tulle gown with embroidered with silver sequins and pink pearls, but it’s the pink velvet coat with a collar embroidered with camellias which really made this look stand out.

Call me crazy, but I do find myself admiring the handiwork of Karl Lagerfeld’s pink coat.

It takes a certain kind of person to pull off such a creation, and Lily totally did justice to the look no matter how crazy it may appear.

Below is the sketch by Karl Lagerfeld and some pictures of the making of Lily Allen’s outfit.

Chanel Fall 2015 Front Row

Chanel Fall 2015 Front Row

Chanel’s front row wasn’t as jam-packed as usual, with notable stars including Li Yuchun (aka Chris Lee), Florence Welch and Poppy Delevingne taking their seats for the French brand’s Fall 2015 show on Tuesday (March 10).

Li Yuchun: The Asian star took a typically mannish approach wearing a head-to-toe Spring 2015 look incorporating stripes. The only things I covet here are the two-tone brogues. I could’ve got on board with the blazer sans white overlay.

Florence Welch: Also shunning Chanel’s more ladylike offerings was Florence Welch, whose pink suede jacket and trousers from the Spring 2015 collection of course had a distant boho tone, especially when styled with that wide-brimmed hat.

Poppy Delevingne: The socialite showcased her best asset – her legs – wearing a Chanel Resort 2015 gold tweed tunic to which she added black lace shorts. This enabled her to perfectly style her look with black accessories, which included a Chanel Plexiglas clutch.

Chanel’s Spring 2015 ‘3 Girls, 3 Bags’ Campaign

Following the announcement back in January, Chanel’s Spring 2015 handbag campaign, ‘3 Girls, 3 Bags’, has finally been released.

The black-and-white campaign, which was photographed by Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld, features American actress Kristen Stewart, French actress Vanessa Paradis and model Alice Dellal, all of whom have posed for Chanel in the past.

Vanessa Paradis posed naked for Karl wearing only a Chanel pearl necklace and the new ‘Girl’ Chanel handbag inspired by the emblematic jacket of the house, which will no doubt become an instant classic.

Chanel’s two iconic handbags are represented by two of its newest ambassadors, Alice Dellal and Kristen Stewart.

Alice continues to be the face of the ‘Boy’ bag, which is particularly suited to her tougher, edgy, androgynous style, while Kristen lends her face to one of the French label’s enduring classics, the quilted ‘11.12’ handbag, looking rather smart yet older than her tender years in this campaign.

Diane Kruger In Chanel Couture – 2015 Elle Style Awards

Diane Kruger In Chanel Couture - 2015 Elle Style Awards

Diane Kruger was also fresh off a plane from LA, where she attended the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, to attend the 2015 Elle Style Awards on Tuesday (February 24) in London, England, where she was named ‘Film Actress of the Year’.

The actress wore a pretty pink Chanel Spring 2015 Couture lace gown with a bodice embroidered with pale pink sequins.

It’s truly an enchanting look, decidedly pretty but not too saccharine, oozing with plenty of Parisian charm.

Silver accessories complement the look, with the Edie Parker zig-zag clutch giving it a touch of modernity.

The actress is back on form at the moment. Long may it continue.

Julianne Moore In Chanel – 2015 Oscars

Julianne Moore made a statement in white on the red carpet of the 2015 Oscars held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday (February 22).

The Best Actress nominee wore a truly unique custom Chanel gown absolutely dripping in white sequins and accented with rows of white and black sequin rosettes.

Looking every bit like it was designed by Karl Lagerfeld himself, the gown is a timeless statement and is truly breathtaking. And the diamond Chopard jewels are worthy to hold court next to this masterful creation.

A low, sleek chignon, shimmering eyeshadow, Marsala lips and her signature ageless skin have Julianne looking like the Hollywood icon that she is.

Rinko Kikuchi In Chanel – 2015 Film Independent Spirit Awards

Rinko Kikuchi In Chanel - 2015 Film Independent Spirit Awards

Rinko Kukuchi was also at the 2015 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday (February 21), hosted at Santa Monica Beach in Santa Monica, California.

The Japanese actress, nominated for Best Female Lead in ‘Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter,’ channeled her inner pattern princess in a Chanel Resort 2015 dress.

Opting to simplify the ensemble from its original runway styling, she wore it sans the matching pants and contrasting caftan overcoat for a less Eastern-inspired exotic flair.

That’s not to say the boldly exploded floral print wasn’t vivid enough.

I just wish she had styled this statement frock differently—I could have lived with the silver metallic sandals, but there was no need for her bright makeup to echo the Crayola shades of her dress. Barely-there would have been better here.

Kristen Stewart In Chanel Couture – 2015 César Film Awards

Kristen Stewart In Chanel Couture - 2015 César Film Awards

Kristen Stewart attended the 40th Cesar Film Awards held at the Theatre du Chatelet on Friday (February 20) in Paris, France, where she became the first American actress to win a Cesar award picking up the best supporting actress gong for ‘Clouds of Sils Maria’.

The face of Chanel wore a white strapless dress embroidered with white silk petals from the Spring 2015 Couture collection accented with both a light pink and black belt.

I don’t think this will be well received but I do like that she selected something other than the norm – a mini dress – because this was the French equivalent to the Oscars after all.

This dress feels like a Kiernan Shipka dress, but Kristen did inject a touch of KStew to the look with a black belt and black Christian Louboutin ‘ Salopatina’ heels to make this her own.

With Kristen Stewart expected at the Oscars on Sunday, are you excited to see what she wears next?
