Mia Wasikowska In Chanel Couture – ‘Madame Bovary’ London Film Festival Screening

Mia Wasikowska In Chanel Couture - 'Madame Bovary' London Film Festival Screening

Mia Wasikowska joined Laura Carmichael on the red carpet for the screening of ‘Madame Bovary’ during the 58th BFI London Film Festival held at Odeon West End on Saturday (October 11) in London, England.

Usually I reserve my rights to judge any Chanel runway look until I see it on the red carpet, as the red carpet look is usually much more preferable; sadly, that is not the case on this occasion.

Mia breathes no life into this metallic-silver Chanel Spring 2014 Couture futuristic-style dress which creates the illusion of a tiny waist.

I don’t even feel the black pumps are to blame here; perhaps it’s the hair and makeup bringing down the look, or that she simply lacks presence.

Does this look work for you?

Kristen Stewart In Chanel Couture – ‘Clouds Of Sils Maria’ New York Film Festival Screening

Kristen Stewart In Chanel Couture - 'Clouds Of Sils Maria' New York Film Festival Screening

Kristen Stewart attended the ‘Clouds Of Sils Maria’ screening held during the 52nd New York Film Festival at Alice Tully Hall on Wednesday (October 8) in New York City.

Wearing her second Chanel look in a row, this time the actress selected a piece from the Fall 2014 Couture collection.

I don’t know about you, but this ranks for me as one of her best ever looks, especially in Chanel.

The dramatic black dress with silver leather aluminum embroideries suits her unique edgy style and has a bit more character than the usual mini dresses she tends to wear.

She also, most importantly, looks comfortable in it, and I just can’t get enough of the new haircut.

Her look was, of course, styled with pointy pumps, with Christian Louboutin ‘Iriza’ glitter pumps rounding out her amazing look.

Are you as blown away as I am?

Kristen Stewart In Chanel – Apple Store Soho Presents: Meet the Filmmakers: ‘Camp X-Ray’

Kristen Stewart In Chanel - Apple Store Soho Presents Meet the Filmmakers 'Camp X-Ray'

Kristen Stewart attended the Apple Store Soho Presents: Meet the Filmmakers: ‘Camp X-Ray’ held at Apple Store Soho on Tuesday (October 7) in New York City.

The face of Chanel’s Pre-Fall 2014 collection wore a dress from the French brands Spring 2015 collection featuring a tweed red and black top with a leather overall-like overlay.

Yes, once again it’s another mini dress, however, methinks this is her best one yet.

The look is cool and youthful with an edge, everything we expect from a Kristen Stewart look.

We all know she likes to ditch those Louboutins as soon as she can, so it looks like her stylist compromised styling her look with brogues on this occasion.

Her best yet?

Chanel Spring 2015 Front Row

chanel spring 2015

Karl Lagerfeld presented Chanel’s Spring 2015 collection during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday (September 30) yesterday morning.

Elisa Sednaoui: The model brought some colour to the front row wearing a Chanel Resort 2015 ensemble with a distinct laidback vibe, which, as expected, she makes look chic and effortless.

Alexa Chung: As you know, Alexa has been impressing me of late with her red carpet choices, and I expected the same from this event; sadly, I was totally underwhelmed. It’s almost like no effort was put into this at all. The whole look is too boxy and not to my liking. She can do better, especially at Chanel.

Poppy Delevingne: The model/socialite also went down the easy breezy route, selecting a Chanel Resort 2015 red and white romper styled with gold sandals and a red Chanel bag. The look is effortless and chic and, most importantly, looks modern and elegant. She’s a great Chanel ambassador.

Diane Kruger In Chanel Couture – Ministere Of Culture

Diane Kruger In Chanel Couture - Ministere Of Culture

Diane Kruger received the insignia of Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters at a ceremony held at the Ministry Of Culture on Monday (September 22) in Paris, France.

Going back into the archives, or perhaps in this case her closet, the German actress selected a look from Chanel’s Fall 2007 Couture collection.

The navy halter tuxedo-inspired frock, which still holds up now with its contemporary peplum, has many more interesting elements such as the black sequin bodice underlay, contrasting black stitch detailing and bow accent.

I love that she selected this dress for such an honourable occasion and setting. Usually she’s all about getting the fresh-off-the-runway look first.

Retro waves and silver jewels including an ear cuff rounded out her chic Parisian look.

Do you love it or should this dress have stayed in the archives?
