‘Dukes of Melrose’ Launch Party Red Carpet Round Up

Celebs came out to help Cameron Silver and Christos Garkinos celebrate the launch of their new Bravo series, ‘Dukes of Melrose’, held at the Sunset Tower Hotel on Thursday evening. They all, of course, wore vintage pieces from the hosts’ boutique, Decades Inc.

Sophia Bush: Finally getting those bangs cut to a perfect length, the actress wore a vintage 80s Halston one-shoulder gold dress with a wrap skirt, which was styled with a snakeskin MCM flap wallet clutch and gold Ruthie Davis platform peep-toes.

Isabelle Fuhrman: Turning back time to the 60s, young Isabelle wore a vintage Norell bright-yellow long-sleeved shift dress, which she styled with a bright-yellow MCM bag. Between the two pops of colour and the gorgeous smile, needless to say she was my favourite at this event.

Leven Rambin: J’Adore Leven’s classic YSL Le Smoking 80s pant suit. It’s such a simple yet impactful look, with the bold shoulders, satin lapels and high-waisted pants. Her red lip colour further adds a bold statement, with a gold clutch and black sandals completing her gorgeous look.

Bella Heathcote In Chanel Couture - 2013 Vanity Fair PartyBella Heathcote took Chanel out for a second spin in as many days, as she attended the 2013 Vanity Fair Party, hosted at West Hollywood’s Sunset Tower last night.

After her first floral dress, the Australian actress plucked another nature-inspired cocktail frock, this time from Chanel’s Spring 2013 Couture collection. She took all the sweet elements from the runway and left off the more sinister details seen on the model.

That means the whimsical butterfly brooch stayed put. But she skipped the silver space-age gloves and high boots, the gothic organza eyelashes and that feathered topper.

Instead, she added some delightful sparkle with a metallic clutch, Jimmy Choo ‘Tease’ sandals and Chanel fine jewels.

The off-the-shoulder cape collar and A-line silhouette was charming in this demure, vintage-inspired dress.

Bella’s feminine rose-toned makeup and her old Hollywood updo with a side-swept bang completed the retro vibe.

Rosie Huntington Whiteley joined many fellow fashion-lovers at the Chanel Pre-Oscar Dinner held at L.A.’s Madeo Restaurant on Saturday.

The model wore a jumpsuit from Chanel Spring 2013.

Rosie not only looked fresh in one of spring’s top trends, stripes, but she also stood out in a sea of dresses. She looked beautiful in the strapless, wide legged, blue and white jumpsuit.

To add a dose of elegance to a sporty ensemble she layered on a pearl necklace from Chanel and carried a ‘Lego’ bag from the hosting design label.

Rosie topped off her look with beautifully glossy waves reminiscent of old Hollywood and a pink pout.

Andrea Riseborough made an appearance at the Chanel Pre-Oscar Dinner held at L.A.’s Madeo Restaurant on Saturday.

The actress wore a look straight from the Chanel Spring 2013 runway collection.

Andrea decided to go with a classic Chanel look this time around in a swingy, blue tweed dress with an oversized peter pan collar and red piping. I like that she really went for the classic Chanel style complete with a quilted clutch and cap-toed heels.

Andrea completed her look with a softly curled under ‘do pinned back just above the temple. I think the overall look is lovely, but as it is very sweet and demure, I would have liked to see a less schoolgirl hairstyle for a bit more edge.

What do you think: too sweet, or just perfect?

Felicity Jones attended the Chanel Pre-Oscar Dinner held at Madeo Restaurant in Los Angeles on Saturday.

The ‘Breathe In’ actress wore a floor-length dress from Chanel Spring 2013.

Felicity has shown her love of the black-and-white combo on red carpets past, and for this event she sported the colour duo in a tweed gown with a front slit and an exaggerated collar and cuffs.

I like the silhouette of the dress—it’s simple and subtly curve-hugging—but the oversized details in black and white are too reminiscent of a nun uniform for my taste. I would love to see the dress in a different colour palette.

The look was topped off with black and transparent ankle strap heels, also from Chanel, and a slightly smokey eye and nude lip.

Rose Byrne started celebrating the 2013 Academy Awards early on Saturday night at the Chanel Pre-Oscar Dinner held at Madeo Restaurant in Los Angeles.

The ‘I Give It a Year’ star wore a black and silver knit dress from Chanel Spring 2013.

Rose went for an “x marks the spot” look in a two-toned dress, but I think the placement of the design doesn’t quite do her figure justice. The style is a bit bland for Rose, who looks beautiful in designs with more colour, like this plum hue.

She added an element of brightness to the look via white and gold matching pumps and clutch, also from Chanel.

I typically like Rose’s natural makeup style, but I think the darkness of the dress calls for a brightening red lip, like she did so beautifully in this black Chanel number.

Do you think Rose wowed in this style?
