Thandie Newton In Chanel – ‘The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’ World Premiere

Thandie Newton In Chanel - 'The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel' World Premiere

Thandie Newton attended the Royal Film Performance and world premiere of ‘The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’ held at the Odeon Leicester Square on Tuesday (February 17) in London, England.

It’s rare for me to develop goosebumps upon sight of a black and white dress, but that is exactly what happened in this case.

On a scale of one to ten, the never-ageing beauty that is Thandie Newton scored a perfect ten in looking breathtaking in this Chanel strapless velvet gown.

Usually I prefer a clean neckline with a strapless gown, but her ‘Panache and Pearl’ Chanel Fine Jewellery necklace only serves to enhance the sophistication and glamorous nature of this look.

This could’ve come off as boring and dated, but Thandie made the look the perfect jewel that it is.

Judges, what are your scores?

Pharrell Williams In Adidas & Chanel – 2015 Grammy Awards

Pharrell Williams In Adidas - 2015 Grammy Awards

Pharrell Williams wore two looks (or is that three?) during the 2015 Grammy Awards where he picked up two awards for ‘Best Pop Solo Performance’ and ‘Best Urban Contemporary Album’ on Sunday (February 8) in LA.

Red Carpet: There was quite a stir about Pharrell’s Adidas look, with some saying it was too casual. Did people forget that this was the Grammys? I love the look for it’s typically cool and sporty vibe, perfectly styled with shoes with grey accents. The unique thing about this outfit is that it looked grey but under flash light it photographed white. I think the stir should’ve been saved for his wife Helen Lasichanh in her Adidas onesie. Unless you’re in a bob-sleigh team or an Olympic athlete, this is not a great look.

Performance: For the performance of his hit single ‘Happy’ , the singer wore a custom Chanel head-to-toe look. While I love the fun effervescent spirit of the look, he did look like an extra from ‘Hotel Budapest’.

Keira Knightley In Chanel – EE British Academy Awards Nominees Party

Keira Knightley In Chanel - EE British Academy Awards Nominees Party

Keira Knightley attended the EE British Academy Awards nominees party held at Kensington Palace on Saturday (February 7) in London, England.

The ‘Imitation Game’ actress wore a beautiful Chanel Resort 2015 draped sleeve frock featuring a glorious mix of colourful floral appliqués on the hem to enhance the multi-hued print.

While it’s not on par with her previous look, I do love the how this look exudes a romantic and girlish flair, but I wish this didn’t make her look so top heavy.

The shoes, as expected, were uneventful.

Kristen Stewart, Alice Dellal, and Vanessa Paradis held court at the Chanel show as part of Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2015, which was hosted at the Grand Palais on Tuesday (January 27) in Paris, France. As the faces of the new Chanel handbag campaign, each of the girls with their individual style represents one of the brand’s iconic purse pieces, including the 11.12 by Karl Lagerfeld, the Boy Chanel, and the Girl.

Kristen Stewart: Taking a sporty-chic route, the actress wore a white A-line dress with black piping. Chunky, block-heeled booties, a chain necklace and an ear cuff completed her look, yet it was really her side-swept, wavy crop that injected another level of edge to this safer showing.

Alice Dellal: The model’s cropped jacket put a directional twist on traditional plaid while high-waist, wide-leg trousers provided the right counterpoint to the silhouette of the top half of her look, which she styled with a black Boy Chanel bag—naturally.

Vanessa Paradis
: Taking the mannish styling one notch up, the actress suited up in a cropped black tweed blazer worn over a semi-sheer white blouse that gave off a Victorian vibe. Barely there makeup and effortless waves were the natural pairing to this classic Parisian look.
