Margot Robbie In Chanel – 90th Annual Academy Awards Nominee Luncheon

Margot Robbie was also at the 90th Annual Academy Awards Nominee Luncheon on Monday (February 5) in Beverly Hills, California, where Greta Gerwig and Saoirse Ronan were also in attendance.

Her Chanel Pre-Fall 2018 frock, complete with a Chanel quilted handbag, was such a sweet-chic way to dress for a lunch.

The textural, raw fringe effect of the dress in partnership with the metal embellishment was offered as a smart, modern iteration on iconic Chanel style that Margot wore effortlessly with her blonde waves and au naturel makeup.

I was charmed. Were you?

Greta Gerwig In Chanel – 90th Annual Academy Awards Nominee Luncheon

Greta Gerwig joined Saoirse Ronan for the 90th Annual Academy Awards Nominee Luncheon on Monday (February 5) in Beverly Hills, California.

As she was back to a minimalist mode the last time out, I wasn’t sure what to expect at this luncheon.

Minimalist it was not, though, as she debuted this Chanel Spring 2018 dress that offered a mod variation on this sweet, pink tweed with the graphic, bold shoulders and mid-line panels.

It was classic with a tinge of directional flair. And, I think she wore it well—that is, until I saw her dark pumps.

I know she was referencing the black threading that ran throughout the dress, but they were still far too heavy of a way to wrap up the lighter, more darling edge of the look.

Saoirse Ronan In Chanel – 33rd Santa Barbara International Film Festival

Following the 2018 DGA Awards, Saoirse Ronan was honoured with the Santa Barbara Award during the Santa Barbara International Film Festival on Sunday (February 4) in California.

It’s fair to say that you strongly disliked her DGA Awards Calvin Klein look, but I’m confident the Irish actress will win you back with this Chanel Pre-Fall 2018 look.

Why?

Because it’s feels classic, yet youthful at the same time. The look is endlessly charming, fresh and the styling was kept to a minimum to allow all the characteristics from the outfit to shine.

This is probably my second favourite look this awards season from Saoirse following her Atelier Versace Golden Globes gown.

Front Row @ Chanel Spring 2018 Couture

Designer Karl Lagerfeld transformed Paris’s Grand Palais into a classic French garden to plant his flowery, sugary-chic confections for the Chanel Spring 2018 Couture show during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday (January 23), where his Chanel-clad front row duly impressed.

Yara Shahidi: The starlet always impresses me with her command of fashion, and even in this setting, her particular brand of youthfully sophisticated, directional style shone brightly. I like how she brought an experimental twist to this girly-demure frock with the clear booties.

Ella Purnell: There was a prim charm to Ella’s matching sweater separates, modestly finished with a pair of black pumps.

Rita Ora: Classic tweed took a colourful, sporty direction with the songstress’s hoodie dress accessorised in true Rita rebel form with a quilted fanny pack and athletic sneakers. Yet, it all made sense, with the pink-coral hue tied throughout—from her lipstick right down to the accent colour on those shoes.

Sadie Sink In Chanel – 2018 SAG Awards

Sadie Sink was one of the first on the red carpet at the 2018 SAG Awards on Sunday (January 21) in Los Angeles, California.

The ‘Stranger Things’ actress donned a Chanel Spring 2018 above-the-ankle dress.

I was immediately struck by how the silhouette and detailing on the piece were very representative of the designer, but still suited someone of her 15 years.

Most younger stars go for grand princess moments with full skirts. This was more streamlined, but every bit as magical.
