Nicole Kidman In Chanel Couture – 89th Annual Academy Awards Nominee Luncheon

Epitomizing the notion of ‘luncheon chic,’ Nicole Kidman attended the 89th Annual Academy Awards Nominee Luncheon on Monday (February 6) in Beverly Hills.

It doesn’t get much more classic—or classic Chanel—than this beautiful tweed number from the Chanel Spring 2017 Couture collection.

The bracelet-sleeve dress had the traditionally precise lines of a suit jacket and skirt, with the additional boost of a wide metallic belt adding a waist-defining nod to the ’80s.

Jimmy Choo ‘Truce’ sandals smartly echoed the colour of the belt to round out this lovely look for Nicole.

Janelle Monae In Chanel – 2017 SAG Awards

Janelle Monae attended the 2017 SAG Awards in LA on Sunday (January 29).

A double nominee for her work in both Moonlight, and Hidden Figures, wore a sleeveless ankle-length gown from the Chanel Pre-Fall 2017 collection.

Janelle has always been a fashion risk taker, but this look is a bit of letdown.

Her signature colours of black and white look more like gray here, and the floral accoutrements around her neck should have been removed in order to create a more flattering neckline.

Chanel Spring 2017 Couture Front Row

Celebrities were seated front row at the Chanel Spring 2017 Couture show during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday (January 24).

Olga Kurylenko: She left the jumpsuits behind for this look that saw her epitomize casual Parisian charm in a Chanel short-sleeve sweater and Chanel black tweed skirt. A Chanel bucket bag along with a choker necklace and drawstring boots completed the relaxed-luxe look.

Ellie Bamber: Wearing the same boots as Olga, the young British starlet went for an edgier outing in a Chanel velvet romper topped off with a Chanel belt and tights.

Vanessa Paradis: The French star took a stricter style stance in her Chanel tweed jacket top and embossed trousers that translated as a rather severe silhouette, mostly due to the emboldened structure in the shoulder.

Yara Shahidi In Chanel & Schiaparelli Couture – W Magazine ‘It Girl’ Luncheon & 2017 Golden Globes Party

Like Zoey Deutch, Yara Shahidi also attended the W’s It Girl Luncheon, followed by the Golden Globes Post-Party.

W Magazine ‘It Girl’ Luncheon: The “Black-ish” star put her own fun twist on ladylike luncheon attire with an adorable bubblegum-pink Chanel playsuit paired with embellished Stuart Weitzman shoes. Her rosy makeup beautifully yet subtly picked up on the colour of the ensemble.

2017 Golden Globes Party: She had no less fun at the Golden Globes Party, where she shimmied out a Schiaparelli Couture iridescent pink tulle fringe mini-dress with gold cap sleeves. A little bit flapper and a little bit futuristic, the frock was topped off with a patchwork fur coat that was completely outshone by the shiny dress.

Emma Stone In Diane von Furstenberg, Valentino, Chanel & The Row – BAFTA Tea Party, 2017 Golden Globe Awards, ‘La La Land’ Paris & London Premiere’s

Emma Stone has been making the rounds lately on behalf of her well-received ‘La La Land’ film that’s poised to garner even more recognition on the awards circuit. She attended the BAFTA Tea Party at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles on Saturday (January 7) before the 2017 Golden Globe Awards at The Beverly Hilton the next evening. Then, it was off to two premieres for this busy star.

BAFTA Tea Party: Looking well-poised for tea, the actress wore a sweet Diane von Furstenberg polka-dot halter dress that featured a modern interpretation of retro styling. It was lovely for a daytime event.

2017 Golden Globe Awards: It was rather appropriate that Emma’s magical Valentino gown featured a constellation of stars, as she took home the win for Best Actress on Sunday (January 8). Call me star-struck, but I was charmed by the pale pink, micro-plisse gown that actually proved rather enchanting against her alabaster skin.
