I bet you’d never thought you would see Sofia Coppola and Rihanna wearing the same dress.

The two stars have both worn this Celine Pre-Fall 2010 colour-block dress.

Late last year Sofia Coppola attended the TimesTalks with Stephen Dorff at The Times Center in New York City wearing her Celine dress.

She added black tights and shearling lined ankle boots to her look.

Rihanna wore the same dress whilst carrying a Prada tote when she was spotted leaving Giorgio Baldi restaurant in Palisades CA earlier this month.

Despite Sofia being the typical Celine woman, I much prefer this look on Rihanna.

I like how Rihanna’s accessories liven up her look.

Rihanna was spotted headed out to dinner at Giorgio Baldi restaurant in Palisades, California on Saturday night.

The singer opted for the prefect transitional Fall to Spring look wearing a Celine Pre-Fall 2010 colour-block sweater dress with white Celine loafers.

RiRi has changed her hairstyle yet again.

This time she rocks sweeping bangs after making a guest appearance on Chelsea Lately with blunt bangs just last week.

Rihanna completed her look carrying a luxe buttery Prada City calf double top handle tote from the Spring 2011 collection.

As you know I don’t really feature men on my blog, but when I saw Christian Siriano walking the red carpet at the WWD @ 100 Anniversary Gala in New York City this week something caught my eye.

I was instantly drawn to his gorgeous Celine Cabas Tote which I’ve been cruising in Selfridges along with the rest of the Celine bags on display.

The Fall 2010 leather tote features a woolly front panel with two zippers either side.

He is totally working it with his Burberry coat and studded sneakers.

I love it when a man pulls off a man bag with such panache.

This weekend Victoria Beckham was spotted leaving Angelini Osteria restaurant in LA via the back door after enjoying a low key dinner at the cosy Italian eatery with hubby David Beckham and their friend Tana Ramsay, wife of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.

I love the sublime simple elegance of Celine, so I was super excited to see Victoria Beckham wearing a look from Celine’s Pre-Fall 2010 collection.

I’ve long thought Celine would be a perfect match for Victoria and I’m glad to see her wearing this minimalist two tone pocketed dress with nude epaulets so well.

VB wore her dress with a black Brian Atwood pumps and she carried a two-tone clutch from her Spring 2011 collection.

Tres chic.

When I saw Katie Holmes wearing this Pre-Fall 2010 Celine striped t-shirt dress late last night I assumed it was just an A to B look.

Little did I know that it was going to be her look for “The Extra Man” New York Premiere.

I’m absolutely dumbfounded.

Talk about not making an effort.

I’m not asking for a Couture gown with a 50ft train, but something more lively, interesting and red carpet appropriate would’ve been preferred to this relaxed look.

Her navy and red striped t-shirt dress with long sleeves was paired with Roger Vivier heels.

In case I wasn’t clear I really don’t like look at all.

You may remember the March Style Spotlight featured Miroslava Duma.

I found this gorgeous picture of her at Paris Fashion Week on Mr. Newton’s blog pairing two Spring 2010 looks.

As she’s quite petite she can wear her Proenza Schouler turquoise, yellow and black knitted-silk sweater as a dress.

She belted the sweater/dress and wore a Celine Spring 2010 leather crop top over it.

I love this look.

I wish I could walk into my closet and find two fabulous pieces like this.

Thumbs up or do you think she tried too hard?
