Samantha Barks was beaming at the 2013 Jameson Empire Awards, held at London’s Grosvenor House, following her ‘Best Female Newcomer’ win for her role in ‘Les Miserables’.
The award-winning actress wore a Celia Kritharioti dress for the occasion.

Her ivory dress with an embroidered skirt and a Peter Pan collar was styled with black bow-front pumps and a simple updo.

I’m very much on the fence with this look.

Part of me likes the less formal feel of this look. The other part feels like this is too twee for the 22-year-old actress. This dress wouldn’t have been out of place on the red carpet at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.

All of me, however, dislikes her shoe choice.
