15.01.13 Runway To Red Carpet
After finishing up her awards show presenter duties, Jennifer Lopez headed to The Weinstein Company’s 2013 Golden Globe Awards After Party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California on Sunday evening—but not before making a quick change.
The entertainer switched out of her embroidered ivory and nude effect Zuhair Murad gown, swapping it for an extravagant black look from the designer’s Fall 2012 Couture collection.
The plunging neckline is becoming a bit overplayed, although Jennifer still managed to make it look as sophisticated as possible.
A significant train was embellished with feathery detail, and sparkling cuffs provided a good dose of wrist candy.
However, I wasn’t crazy about this singer-actress’s wild hair with the uneven strands flipped out of her updo. Her first ‘do—glam waves—was far more flattering.
Are you a fan of this second Zuhair Murad moment?

Archie Panjabi picked The Weinstein Company’s 2013 Golden Globe Awards After Party, hosted at the Beverly Hilton in California on Sunday evening, to make her entrance.
‘The Good Wife’ star found inspiration from a few seasons ago in Lebanese designer Basil Soda’s Fall 2012 collection.
The strapless, structured bodice gave way to the soft glamour of a long mermaid silhouette and train, which actually may have been a bit cumbersome for any sort of party mixing and mingling.
Aside from its bridal white shade, the look stood out the most for its lack of any form of embellishment save for accessories in the form of a simple bracelet and silver box clutch.
Perhaps Archie could have used a sparkling necklace or the pop of a vibrant, pendant earring, especially since she wore her hair slicked back.

Peppy British presenter and fashion journalist Louise Roe was no ‘Plain Jane’ at NBC Universal’s 70th annual Golden Globe Awards After Party, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California on Sunday night. Quite the contrary, actually.
She took a rather ornate spin down the red carpet in a gold netted top and gleaming metallic, floor-grazing skirt from Indian designer Manish Arora.
Whether she intended to lightly reference the golden theme of the awards-show night or not, the effortless yet oh-so-shiny ensemble was entrancing—and delightfully different from many of the other after-party statements.
Sorellina NYC jewels and a Farbod Barsum bag accessorized the look.
The only element I would have changed was Louise’s super-high, woven bun. Something softer might have been more flattering, although she is just one of many who have fallen for the braided updo trend.

Michelle Monaghan came out with gown blazing at the Warner Bros. and InStyle Golden Globe Awards After Party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on Sunday evening.
The actress took her red-carpet entrance seriously with a Vera Wang sleeveless, chartreuse design featuring a cutout detail at the bodice and trapunto stitch accents.
Her clutch matched the slinky dress perfectly, while her coral-red lip and manicure popped against the brilliant yellow-green color.
With its halter neck, the DayGlo-like hue and that peephole at the bust, I couldn’t help but be reminded of Jena Malone’s Cushnie et Ochs after-party dress.
