Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Prior to January Jones walking the red carpet at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night, she attended the Lionsgate Pre-Golden Globe party held in the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel in LA.

The stylish star opted for a Gucci Spring 2010 dress with a strong graphic print, black straps and slash details.

I like the dress, but not on January.

What’s bothering me is the second slashed detail which is subtle on the runway, but unflattering on January.

I feel like pulling it up to make sure it stays in place.

I also don’t think her hair suits the edgy nature of this sexy dress.

Kate Bosworth looked beautiful at the InStyle and Warner Brothers Golden Globes after party in a Calvin Klein Resort 2010 white dress which sits slightly off-the-shoulder.

I think she looks incredibly fresh and sexy here, with minimal make up and a cute plait.

Her hairstyle was created by celebrity hairstylist Harry Josh and I really love it. I predict plaits are going to seen everywhere this year thanks to Alexander Wang and Miu Miu.

We’ve already seen Wang-inspired plaits on Blake Lively and Cheryl Cole.

Not so long ago Rachel McAdams wore a side plait to the Sherlock Holmes World Premiere and it really divided opinions.

Kate finished her look off with Cartier jewels.

Amanda Seyfried looked breath-taking at the HBO’s Post Golden Globe Awards Party wearing a black and beige Valentino Fall 2009 Couture dress.

I’ve always loved those illusion straps on many of the pieces from this collection with embroidered leaf detail, which could easily be mistaken for a tattoo.

The dress is so delicate and feminine which I love, but it’s also a risky choice which the actress pulls off very well.

I’m not so crazy about her Valentino Couture nude petal detailed peep-toe booties though.

They appear to be the similar to the one’s Camille Belle wore in black to the Art of Elysium “Heaven” Gala.

Whilst most people partied the night away at the Warner Bros. party, Chloe Sevigny proudly showed off her Golden Globe Award at HBO’s After Party.

She’d changed out of Valentino gown after it was torn on stage by the escort who’s job it was to make sure she got on the stage in one piece.

Her second look was a black Christian Lacroix Fall 2009 Couture embellished dress covered with a tulle overlay.

As much as I liked both her looks, I think I prefer this Lacroix as it suits Chloe’s mysterious style better.

Australian actress Isabel Lucas arrived the Warner Bros. and InStyle Golden Globe After Party wearing an ivory Chanel Resort 2010 v-neck dress.

I do like her dress and the gold clutch she paired with it, but I don’t like the embroidered scarf tied around her neck.

I think the detail on her dress is enough to keep us interested.

What do you think?

We’ve seen more Christian Dior looks on the red carpet within the last week than we did the whole of the last 2 months.

Elizabeth Banks was the latest celebrity to wear a look from the Spring 2010 Dior collection.

At the Warner Bros. and InStyle Golden Globe After Party last night she wore a fuschia pink chiffon dress, with a peek-a-boo bra and velvet bows on the bodice.

I like that she mixed things up a bit with the mustard peep-toes, and the side swept hair is ever so elegant.

Her look was paired with Chopard jewels.
