Red Carpet Fashion Awards

At the 2012 Elle Style Awards in London this evening we saw a very demure Christina Hendricks on the red carpet.

The ‘Mad Men’ actress known for her cleavage-baring looks wore a vintage Carolina Herrera dress.

Her high-neck dress in an eye-popping purple hue was accented with a waist-cinching belt.

We often wonder if she could do more than one look, and that has finally been proven true today.

The downside for me is the hair and the necklace.

Her hair is lacklustre and the necklace unnecessary.

A black YSL clutch and green suede shoes completed her look.

Do you like this demure look from Christina?

Archie Panjabi joined her ‘Good Wife’ co-star Julianna Margulies on the red carpet at the 2012 SAG Awards yesterday evening.

The actress wore a Carolina Herrera onyx one shoulder silk tuxedo gown.

I love the dress as it shows off her perfect figure, but I’m not a fan of the makeup as the silver eye shadow has been applied too heavily.

Side swept raven curls, silver tasselled earrings and a black clutch with silver embellishments completed her look.

Dianna Agron kinda faded into the background at the 2012 SAG Awards with her co-stars Lea Michele and Naya Rivera stealing the limelight.

The ‘Glee’ actress looked nice enough wearing a dark fuchsia Carolina Herrera gown with a cascading ruffle and a plunging neckline, but I don’t think it is as memorable as her Giles dress at the Golden Globes.

Fred Leighton statement jewelry, Jimmy Choo ‘Koko’ sandals and a braided updo completed her look.

Nice, but instantly forgettable.

Whilst promoting her new website Honest.com last week Jessica Alba popped by Sirius XM’s studios in New York City for a guest spot on their radio show.

Despite having great legs, this Carolina Herrera Spring 2012 look was her third look of the week which included pants.

She also wore blush Jenni Kayne pants, floral Erdem pants, but this occasion she paired black pants which had a red and black patent leather belt, with an off white crepe blouse with a geometric appliqué.

Black satin Sergio Rossi ‘Midlay’ pumps complete her laidback chic look.

Camilla Belle was beyond stunning on the red carpet at the 2012 Art of Elysium Heaven Gala on Saturday in LA.

She wore a gown by one of her favourite designers, Carolina Herrera.

Her Spring 2012 canary-yellow gown with a vertical strip detailing on the front and back plus silk organza layers was teamed with Van Cleef & Arpels jewels.

A simple ponytail, pink lips, a Ferragamo clutch and Ralph Lauren sandals completed her look.

Camilla was one of the nicest celebs at this event alongside Rachel Bilson.

I almost cried when I saw Noomi Rapace on the red carpet for the ‘Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows’ London premiere last night.

The Swedish actress wore one of my favourite designers, Carolina Herrera, but via her styling she totally ruined the look.

Granted, this strapless Resort 2012 black-and-ivory gown with a polka-dot bustier and bold stripes would’ve been hard for anyone to pull off, but the hair and makeup are equally tragic.

Her hair looks very greasy and the makeup looks like it was applied by Coco the Clown.

Nothing is good here.
